When your life goes wrong in the worst possible way and the man you thought you could count on lets you down there might be happier times in store. I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook. A book you won't want to put down. I will be looking for more from this author as I enjoyed this book so much.

I discovered Sue Moorcroft over the holidays with her marvelous story, A Christmas Gift which really touched my heart. When I saw her newest book, A Summer to Remember, I could not wait to read it. Actually, at the time I got it, the book was simply titled "New Book by Sue Moorcroft" but I knew that regardless I would love it - and I did!

Clancy has had the worst of all luck - her fiancé has dumped her for his former lover which left Clancy homeless and also jobless since she, her fiancé and their best friends all worked at a start-up that they built from the ground up. Somehow, it became Clancy who was the odd man out of the equation but, because she was the financial wiz of the group, at least she walked away with resources. Her cousin, Alice, was part owner of seaside inn in need of a caretaker so Clancy packs up her things and without much thought, she heads off to Nelson's Bar, an inlet on the sea not a place to drink, and sets up shop on a tiny piece of land where everyone knows one another, is not fond of her cousin Alice, there is no cell reception and where Alice's ex-fiancé lives along with his brother, Adam, who is the co-owner of the inn. A lot of exes in this story but it works. Trust me, it isn't nearly as confusing as I just made it sound. Naturally there is an on-again, off-again romance between Clancy and Adam but there is much conflict and baggage that it seems that the two of them are not to be together.

What I found most intriguing about A Summer to Remember, is the aspect that I enjoy in all of Moorcroft's books - the value and realism of her characters. Each of them, from the main characters to the secondary ones, are very vivid and real. They are extremely flawed just as we all are. They are bad tempered, sometimes rude, some very prejudiced, all of whom are growing and changing throughout the book. There is a pair of young men in this book whose secondary storyline was so poignant and brilliantly told that, for me, they became a very integral part of the story itself. I came to care for those two lads quite a lot. When talking with Ms. Moorcroft about the book she told me a bit about the research that she did regarding these two young men and their story and what I learned made their characters even more meaningful. I would encourage you to read A Summer to Remember just for these two fellows and their story alone. Except that I loved every single person in the book, even the snippy older townspeople who were far too opinionated for me and reminded me of some of my own neighbors.

I absolutely loved A Summer to Remember. It's a marvelous summer read, a fabulous women's lit book and a great general fiction tale. I highly recommend it! And now, of course, I have to sit it here and anxiously wait for her next book. You will find me in the "M" section of the bookstore.

Thank you to #Netgalley, @SueMoorcroft, and @AvonBooksUK for my copy of my new favorite book.

After being forced out of both her home and the company she helped found, Clancy speeds off to the village of Nelson’s Bar. Spotty reception. No Wi-Fi. It’s the perfect change of pace. After taking the newly opened caretaker position at her cousin Alice’s row of cottages, she even stops fully focusing on her cheating ex and scheming coworkers. But as she gets used to life in the idyllic village, speed bumps from her past keep popping up, including the handsome and totally unavailable co-owner of the cottages.

Author Sue Moorcroft opens with Clancy at her lowest. She’s discovered her fiance has cheated on her and, in a particularly frustrating twist, she’s also out of a job. Yet she doesn’t stay down for long. Instead, she takes control of the situation and removes herself from the city she’s built a life in and plops down in a slower, though not necessarily simpler, village. Moorcroft crafts Clancy as a character so easy to root for. Anyone willing to do something so extreme for her own peace and health deserves a happy ending, and these early scenes set the tone for a very rewarding read.

But Moorcroft knows how to complicate things. Nelson’s Bar, while charming, has a bit of a rough history for Clancy. Her cousin Alice dumped a man at the altar some years before, and his brother, Aaron, now co-owns the cottages. So though Clancy finds herself loving her new job and the locale, she’s met with distrust from prominent locals. These muddied relationships create an immediate and realistic tension. It doesn’t help that Clancy and Aaron have an obvious connection from their first moments together, and Moorcroft expertly teases their potential relationship to maximum effect.

Will they? Won’t they? Who knows? While the ending is satisfying, their journey navigating emotions and family drama makes for such a riveting sequence that it could have lasted for 1,000 pages and it would still be a blast.

But all of this is not to suggest it’s serious all the time. There are plenty of laughs and lighthearted moments, particularly an eager pair of hitchhikers. But Moorcroft has the remarkable ability of making even these scenes poignant because her characters are so believable. They experience both the joys and frustrations of life and she explores their stories with care.

Much like the village of Nelson’s Bar, A Summer to Remember is simply lovely.

4☆ A Light hearted, Feel Good, Cosy Romance!

A Summer to Remember is a gorgeous feel good read about second chances, romance, family and friendships.

First off I want to start by saying I absolutely ADORE the summery book cover, it's perfect for the sunshine were having right now.

Clancy has been hurt, betrayed and let down by those she loves. Losing her job and the Man she loves.
So when she decides to get away, she finds herself settling into a new life at the quaint Roundhouse Row Holiday Cottages where she takes on the role as caretaker/upkeep whilst helping out her cousin Alice who just so happens to co own the cottages.

Nelson's Bar Village is the perfect place to lick her wounds, with No outside communication and no Wi-Fi surely there can be no distraction or heart break here?...

With a close knit community and a potential love interest, a blast from the past and a cousin that is without drama, what can possibly go wrong?

A Summer to Remember is a feel good, light hearted, cosy romance, with plenty of drama, a few juicy twists, troublesome Ex's and a gorgeous location.
The Characters are relatable, complex and Perfectly developed and written for the story.

I adore Sue Moorcroft's books and I am really hoping that A Summer to Remember will become a series. There is so much more to discover I didn't want it to end!

So if you are looking for a Cosy Romance, with a drama filled plot, with a good dash of humour, emotion and a sprinkle of romance, that's the perfect feel good Summer time read, then I highly recommend A Summer to Remember!

Thank you to Avon books for this copy which I reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

When Clancy’s life implodes with an unfaithful fiancé, and betrayal by work colleagues resulting in her loss of job, Clancy retreats to Nelson’s Bar. There she takes on the job as caretaker for the Roundhouse Row holiday cottages in the little village on the Norfolk Coast. Her cousin Alice, who is off overseas is part owner of the property. Alice is not a popular person in Nelson’s Bar after deserting her fiancé Lee at the altar. Clancy hopes that incident and its after effects will not reflect badly on her. Though she loves her cousin, they are nothing alike. Clancy is a caring, loyal person.
Then Clancy comes back in contact with her old love Aaron, Lee’s brother, who is still living in the village. He owns the other half of the Roundhouse Row cottages, but surely they can coexist happily enough in the village despite past history and that of their family, can’t they? What neither of them counted on was the attraction for each other still being there. And in a small village it seems everyone has an opinion on that and takes sides.
While this was enjoyable and the setting was great, I didn’t love this as much asI thought I would. I wanted a nice light read and this was that, but somehow it never fully engaged me, despite some interesting and quirky characters, Others seemed just over the top.
Liked it but just didn’t love it. However I am sure plenty of people will enjoy it. So why not give it a go? You may be one of those who love it.

Well that was definitely a memorable summer for Clancy and everyone involved in The Roundhouse in the small village of Nelson's Bar in Norfolk.

What started as an escape for Clancy, soon turns into something so much more, as she gets to know the residents of the village, and one in particular.

The book opens with a jilting at a wedding thanks to Alice, Clancy's cousin, of Lee, who is Aaron's brother - and its 6 years later that Clancy and Aaron really meet and sparks fly for all manner of reasons.

This has all the fabulous feeling to it of a typical Sue Moorcroft book. It is warm, you find yourself drawn into the book, and are filled with regret when real life intervenes and you have to leave Nelson's Bar and return to the real word - always eager to get your next reading fix.

I loved watching how this story unfurled, especially given Nelson's Bar is almost pre-historic in its charm - in that there is now proper mobile or internet signal, plus the anticipated reaction from one man to a revelation, made me convinced there had to be dinosaurs living there!

I really did enjoy every moment of this book, and I would love to see more stories set in Nelson's Bar, it had such a great feel to it. The writing was great, I loved most of the characters while at the same time really hating the ones you weren't meant to like. It was just an all around comfortable and huggable sort of a book.

Thank you to Netgalley and Avon for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

Six years ago Clancy's cousin Alice stood up her fiance Lee on their wedding day. The repercussions of that selfish act have affected all of them to some extent, including Lee's best man and older brother Aaron.

Now, Clancy has been forced out of her home and the company she helped to build by her ex-fiance Will. Somehow he humiliated her, cheating on her in a very public way, and yet she is the one forced out. With nowhere to go, she decides to take up the vacant position of caretaker to a row of cottages part-owned by her cousin Alice and Lee's brother Aaron. Over the years whilst Alice has been globe-trotting Clancy and Aaron have corresponded about maintenance of the cottages etc and so this seems like an ideal place to regroup and lick her wounds. The tiny village of Nelson's Bar doesn't have any mobile phone coverage so it will be a complete rest from the outside world and allow Clancy to forget her heartbreak.

Aaron can't believe it when Awful Alice's cousin waltzes back into the village demanding to be the new caretaker, trouble is Alice still owns half the cottages so he doesn't have much choice. But he worries how the reminder of Alice will affect Lee, who has been very fragile since he was jilted.

Can I just say I love Sue Moorcroft's books. Always set in near-idyllic country settings, she manages to create characters with real emotions and character flaws, no-one is perfect, everyone makes mistakes, just because it's the country doesn't mean there isn't bigotry or spite or angst. Even Clancy comes to realise that things aren't quite the way she originally saw them.

If you enjoy romance set in the English countryside with a side order of teen angst, family feuds, jealous exes and small businesses struggling to get by you will love this novel. Another winner from one of my favourite authors.

I received a free copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in return for an honest review.

Ah don't let me put you off this book as it will be perfect for so many, it just wasn't for me.

The synopsis sounded promising, with Clancy returning to Nelson's Bar (which did sound idyllic) in coastal Norfolk following a disastrous family 'wedding' years previously. There are some members of the community who would prefer Clancy not to return but she finds her way into their affections overall meeting (or reconnecting I should say) with Aaron as part of the story.

It was an easy going read and definitely made me chuckle in places I just didn't fall for the characters as much as I did the setting. This would make the perfect summer holiday read, I could imagine sitting on the beach reading about the seaside of Norfolk would be truly lovely!

My many thanks to Avon Books UK via NetGalley for providing me with this advanced reading copy in exchange for an honest review.

A lovely read. Clancy needs to escape from a nightmare situation with regard to both her personal and professional life. She ends up taking the caretakers position in Nelson's Bar as she needs somewhere to stay. It is part owned by her cousin Alice, who jilted her fiance on their wedding day

When she turns up, fireworks are anticipated and she has to convince Lee's brother that she has no hidden agenda. They have a little history and the romantic spark is waiting to be reignited. I loved waiting for them to get to know each other and whether they could overcome any obstacles in their path.

Nelson's Bar sounds such an idyllic place to stay- no internet and limited mobile reception, a beautiful hidden beach and walks with a dog.

I love all of Sue Moorcroft's books, but I think this might have become my new favourite.

I took this book on holiday with me, and sat on the beach, it was the perfect holiday read!

Sue Moorcroft always creates beautiful settings, lovable (and unlovable - the antagonists) characters and an interesting story. I actually think Aaron has become my new book boyfriend, beating Ratty from Starting Over. And I want to visit Nelson's Bar, and stay at one of the Roundhouse Row holiday cottages!

I did not want to put this book down! And there were times when it put a lump in my throat, and I almost didn't want the story to end.

This is a book by one of my favourite authors, I've loved every book I've read by her and this is no exception! Six years ago, Aaron was best man for his brother, Lee, and Clancy was bridesmaid for her cousin, Alice, at the wedding that didn't happen as the bride-to-be ran away. Aaron and Clancy had been attracted to each other and shared a hot kiss at the wedding eve get together but Alice's actions tore away any possible romantic ideas for them both.

Now it is Clancy who has been betrayed by both her fiancé and the people she's set up business with so she's travelling to Nelson's Bar, a small Norfolk seaside village, where she'll act as caretaker for Roundhouse Row holiday cottages whilst she decides what to do next with her life. This is a fantastic second chance romance with great characters and much re-evaluation and development of relationships, expectations and romance.

The community of Nelson's Bar has its own expectations, protecting its own and being wary of interlopers but there's also a jealous mischief-maker, protective parents, development plans, potential romances and even unexpected visitors. Sue Moorcroft brings is so skilled at making her characters realistic - you can imagine walking down the street and meeting them. There are some to admire, some to love and some you'd really prefer to avoid - just like in real life. Together they make this a story full of surprising twists and turns, one that I really hope will be the first in a new series as I'd love to visit there again to catch up on all the 'goings on' in this coastal community. I have absolutely no hesitation in highly recommending this to anyone who is looking for a lovely, summery read - whatever the season!

I requested and was gifted a copy of this book via NetGalley and this is my honest review after choosing to read it.

Can’t believe this is my first read by this author. It will certainly not be my last.

Clancy needed a fresh start and found herself in Nelsons Bar. Sadly her past creeps up on her and the locals don’t trust her. Talk about judging a person before getting to know them...ggrrr.

As I sit here writing this review I’ve got a smile on my face. It’s just one of those kinda reads.

This is a very quick enjoyable read. An ideal refreshing beach read. Highly recommend this gem.

I think the first day of summer in the Northern Hemisphere was the perfect day to finish this charming summer story.

Clancy was raised by parents who are generous, giving and philanthropic but often absent. When her happy life is shattered by a romantic betrayal and job loss she heads for a remote coastal town to lick her wounds. But this isn't going to be the rejuvenating break she is hoping for, 6 years earlier her almost identical cousin did a 'runaway bride' and instantly turned the whole village into and Anti - Alice & Clancy zone.

There is a lot going on in this story and unfortunately it isn't completely clean with two fairly detailed love scenes. I was often awed at how poor Clancy was so helpful and optimistic when I would have been much less.

Some times good things do happen to good people.

5 Words: Friendship, family, summer, love, belonging.

A Summer to Remember starts with a wedding, a dash of attraction, and a whole lot of heartbreak. And then, the fun begins.

I loved this book, the story, the characters, the writing. It was exactly what I needed and I devoured it in a single sitting.

I think my favourite thing about A Summer to Remember by Sue Moorcroft was Clancy, and how she tries to rebuild her life and rediscover herself throughout the book. She's a little impulsive, fraught with insecurities and doubt, and determined to prove herself. And I could relate to her so much that it almost hurt to read.

Even the side characters are full of life and come alive on the page, including Nelson the dog, and separated old couple Ernie and Dilysn - who made me chuckle a lot.

The setting is fantastic - the lack of wi-fi and signal made the story almost timeless, like it could have been set at any time. It was almost like a physical jolt when modern-day life interrupted the story, although things like trips to Tesco really grounded the story.

This book is absolutely perfect for summer. It begs to be read outside, by the pool, lounging in the garden, sprawled in a park. The writing is so summery and rich that I easily got lost in Nelson's Bar and Roundhouse Row, and the drama of those who reside there.

This is not my first Sue Moorcroft book and it will absolutely not be my last.

This is Sue Moorcroft's best book to date. I realised whilst reading this book, why I enjoy reading contemporary romance fiction like this so much. It's because we are inundated with bad news, disturbing incidences and so much unkindness in the real world, that reading this novel simply makes me feel good. It restores faith in the nicer side of life and that beautiful things can happen. Now, of course, I remember it's fiction, but what occurs in this story is topical - being cheated on in the most atrocious of ways, of the search for love and belonging, the intricate dynamics of family and suffering terrible tragedy are all issues we can relate to and novels like this one remind us we can triumph. Sue is the master of creating fantastic, scenic and adorable communities that she fills with entertaining characters that all play a pivotal role. She drafts characters we learn to love and gives them quite a hard time along the way. It was simply a delight.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story! It's a standard romance where you know there is going to be a happy ending of course, but it's so full of twists and turns and surprises that it kept my attention alive thorughout the whole book. The characters retain a certain air of reality that will make you immediately identify yourself with them. ( my personal favourite? Annabelle. I really punched up in the air at a certain point. Go her! ) The beautiful English countryside is ever present and so well described that you'll feel 'there'.
A brilliant read for the summer that I can heartily recommend.

Another lovely summer romantic story from Sue Moorcroft. This time the setting is an idyllic seaside village in Norfolk. The residents are a close knit community as you would expect but some of them hold grudges. So when Clancy arrives she is treated like a bad penny and with hostility which I found unfair as it was her cousin Alice’s antics that left the residents despising her. If Clancy thought that escaping London, her job and her ex, who was literally caught with his pants down for a peaceful life in Nelson’s Bar then she soon realises that it is not going to happen without a struggle and determination to fit in.

A relationship rapidly develops between Clancy and Aaron but family feuds and incidents seem to constantly put obstacles in their path which in turn leaves very little time for them.

My thanks to Net Galley for the digital ARC in exchange for my opinions on A Summer to Remember.

The Blurb :
WANTED! A caretaker for Roundhouse Row holiday cottages.
WHERE? Nelson’s Bar is the perfect little village. Nestled away on the Norfolk coast we can offer you no signal, no Wi-Fi and – most importantly – no problems!
WHO? The ideal candidate will be looking for an escape from their cheating scumbag ex-fiancé, a diversion from their entitled cousin, and a break from their traitorous friends.
WHAT YOU’LL GET! Accommodation in a chocolate-box cottage, plus a summer filled with blue skies and beachside walks. Oh, and a reunion with the man of your dreams.
PLEASE NOTE: We take no responsibility for any of the above scumbags, passengers and/or traitors walking back into your life…

My Thoughts:
Already a big fan of Sue Moorcroft, I was happy to see another release from her.
A Summer to Remember follows the story of Clancy and Aaron, they first met at the wedding of Clancy’s cousin Alice, who was going to marry Aaron’s brother Lee, but that was until she jilted him at the altar.
6 years later, following the breakup of her own relationship, Clancy takes the opportunity to run away to Nelsons Bar in Norfolk, to be a caretaker at the Roundhouse Row holiday cottages. The only problem is Aaron also lives there.
Will Clancy stir up old feelings from the past for Aaron or is this just strictly about work and escaping her life in London!?.
Once again this was a super read from Sue Moorcroft, she always keeps the reader interested from the off and includes many descriptive accounts throughout the story. I love seeing how the relationship of Clancy and Aaron developed and its great to get to know the other charactors in the story as they all have their own stories to tell. Plenty of twists and turns that will keep you turning the pages.
Looking forward to her next release.

*I voluntarily reviewed this book from the Publisher

From the moment I picked up A SUMMER TO REMEMBER to the moment I turned the final page, I was completely enthralled with this animating story of friendship, second chances, and new beginnings.

When Clancy's relationship and business shatter to pieces all around her, she needs somewhere to escape to and fast. So taking up the caretaking position at the holiday cottages that she manages on behalf of her cousin, Alice, seems like the perfect answer. No internet, dodgy phone coverage, and a stunning setting in Cornwall sound like paradise to Clancy at the moment. But her arrival in the small village isn't welcomed by everyone as Clancy is unfairly lumped in with her flighty cousin who was last seen fleeing from the village after breaking the heart of local man Lee. As Clancy starts to settle in and explore her new life, she cannot help but feel an attraction to Aaron, Lee's brother, who owns the other half of the business but as the past bursts back into the present, could it ever work between them? And as Clancy must face up the pain of what has happened to her in London, is Cornwall her forever place or just a stopgap along the way?

The setting is stunning and I have come to expect nothing less from Sue Moorcroft. I fell in love with these characters but Clancy is by far my favourite - strong, kind, understanding, and very relatable, Clancy quickly became a friend that I didn't want to leave until I knew how it would all work out for her. There is plenty of drama, laughs, and tears, and I loved getting to know this small community as they dealt with their own issues and the hardships that they had to navigate.

A SUMMER TO REMEMBER by Sue Moorcroft is a wonderful story that will warm your heart and I cannot wait for more from Nelson's Bar.

This is my first book by Sue Moorcroft.

Clancy has been devastated by the betrayal of her fiancé and business partners in London and finds herself needing a place to live. She turns to Roundhouse Row, a group of cottages owned by her cousin Alice and Aaron, located in Nelson's Bar. There she becomes caretaker of the property and of the residents of Roundhouse Row.
As Clancy moves into Nelson's Bar she faces opposition from Aaron's family and members of the community.

As Clancy's acclimates to the Nelson's Bar community, she juggles her job and budding romance with Aaron with the lives of her new found village friends.

The setting of the village of Nelson's Bar was lovely and made me want to experience the real place. The introductory chapters started off promising,. However, I felt the book was too long and dragged on in spots. I found myself skipping chapters to fast forward through it. I felt there were too many secondary characters. And, with all the issues of the secondary characters, that Clancy and Aaron's story kind of got lost.

Thank you #netgalley and #avonbooksuk for the early advanced copy to read and review.

This is the first book I've read by Sue Moorcroft and I loved it! The story was great, and the characters were relatable. I'll definitely be reading more of Sue's books.

Absolutely loved this warmhearted read that kept me turning the pages late into the evening. Characters that felt like friends and an escapist setting. I was sorry to finish it.

There was a lot going on in this book and I wondered at times if there could be a happily ever after for Clancy as her past was just SO messy but somehow she overcame a whole raft of obstacles that would have had a lesser woman on her knees. I liked her character, she was a real person trying to get through the best way she could.

Aaron was also very real - at first glance, a bit of a player but he had lots of layers too. Then there were Harry and Rory. I felt for the two of them.

All in all, I think this book was a good representation of village life and the complexities of 21st century living.

A good read.

4 stars from me.

A new book, and a new Norfolk location – and, to my great surprise, I didn’t miss Middledip one bit. Nelson’s Bar is such a wonderful creation – the Roundhouse and cottages, the Duke of Bronte B&B, the cliffs with their leap leading to the secret beach – and by the book’s end I think I’d be able to find my way pretty easily to Aaron’s cottage and workshop or to the De Silva house. The fact that it’s an internet “not-spot” might just be a challenge, but I do know where to go to get a connection. If, like me, you like your books to have a strong sense of place, a feel of a community, you’ll find this book an absolute delight.

I defy anyone not to take to Clancy when she arrives as caretaker at Roundhouse Row – cleaning and changing beds on visitor changeover day, along with a little light gardening – having walked away from her high-powered London job and her former relationship after a particularly embarrassing and public humiliation. She’s really nothing like her cousin Alice, joint owner of the Roundhouse, who’s behaved particularly badly – and people’s memories of Alice and the repercussions of her behaviour mean that Clancy has an uphill climb to prove to people that she’s a rather different proposition. Slowly but surely, with Aaron’s help (what a lovely man!), she wins people over – well, most of the people – but later twists and turns then put her happy future in Nelson’s Bar in jeopardy.

One of the many things I love about the author’s books is that edge of something a little darker, the extent to which it intrudes perfectly judged: while never losing the story’s essential lightness, she doesn’t shy away from issues that could be rather more uncomfortable in less capable hands. The complexities of relationships feature quite heavily, and they’re handled particularly realistically: the developing relationship between Clancy and Aaron is set against a background of prejudice, mental health issues, heartbreak and betrayal, and the whole story has a very satisfying depth that raises it well above whatever you might expect from the playful description and sunny cover.

All the characters are exceptionally well drawn, their relationships so well handled. I’ll admit to a particularly soft spot for Dilys and Ernie, and the gentle humour they inspire – and Nelson the dog is just wonderful. But the less likeable characters are strong too – Alice with her breathtaking selfishness, Jordy with his arrogance and bluster, Genevieve nursing her imagined wrongs with her capacity to cause real upset.

The writing and storytelling is superb. These are all real people, behaving in a wholly believable way: and the ease with which the author manipulates their stories makes the book an absolute joy to read, the pages turning so very easily as you wonder what fate might have in store. This is one of the must read books of the summer, and highly recommended by me.

Who would like to spend the summer by the sea, with the warmth of the sun on your back and the sand in your feet. 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️

Well whether you have plans to actually do that or not. This book will transport you there regardless. ☺️

Roundhouse Row holiday cottages are looking for a caretaker. It is nestled in the beautiful town of Nelson’s Bar. The most adorable little village on the Norfolk coast.

No WiFi, no signal, no internet, just sun, sea, sand, relaxation, a gorgeous chocolate box cottage and an escape from reality. What more could you possibly want.

The perfect candidate for this idyllic adventure. Is Clancy. With a family that she needs to get away from before they explode, an ex fiancé who has cheated on her, chucked for out of her home and their business. So Clancy decides to take the new vacancy. The only problem is that Clancy’s cousins Abby publically humilliated Aaron (the part owner of the cottages) brother by leaving him at the alter. Aaron and Clancy have been corresponding with each other about the cottages. While Abby has been away jet setting around the globe. Not wanting to take any responsibility for her actions or the things she has left behind.

Aaron cannot believe it when Clancy is the new resident to the bay. He always Found her extremely annoying and so as you can imagine the first meeting between these two happens to be extremely awkward. So when Clancy arrives demanding to be the new caretaker, it rubs him up the wrong way. The trouble is Abby is still part owner of the cottages. So there is nothing Aaron can really do or say about this new arrival. But it doesn’t stop him from worrying about how this blast from the past will effect his brother Lee. Especially as he has been trying to put that part of his life well and truely behind him and to start a new life of his own.

Will everyone be able to get along? Will they all be able to heal from their past wounds? Will they be able to find love and happiness in their new lives?

A lovely feel good book, the will transport you to the seaside town. It will make you smile and laugh and you will feel like you are part of the story as it unfold.

Fab.
