Lol could’ve saved me three hours of listening by just telling me to ogle and look up to Elon Musk and slap my $10 Starbucks drink out of my hand on terms of not being a worthwhile investment. I was hoping maybe this work would inspirational in some regard but it’s all the same as any other financial self-help book and I didn’t get much out of it other than something along the lines of “you should get money to make more money”. Booo
Wealth Made Easy is a short inspirational read for people just beginning to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams.
Thirty-eight successful entrepreneurs share seventy-four wealth hacks to riches. Some of the hacks are extremely basic, like “find a need and fill it”. While other hacks are complex, like the biggest lie is “follow your passion and the money will follow”. Some just make sense, like “make your money work for you” through usually passive income streams (i.e., rent or other monthly fee). Many of the hacks are just brief summaries requiring reading another book that is referenced. My personal favorite is Wealth Hack #1, “buy dirt”. It is very specific about how to determine what dirt to buy. It makes perfect sense but I’ve never heard it before despite getting 55% through an MBA before switching to a different major.
Most potential entrepreneurs will find a motivational idea or two within these pages. If you have already read all the books about building wealth or businesses at your library, this may just be a review. However, it is convenient to have it all in one place. Most business creation books have a large quantity of filler or examples just to get the book to a certain page length. Wealth Made Easy does not. It usually only has one example for each hack and the entire book is about 200 pages. Overall, this book is recommended for its motivational appeal. 4 stars!
Thanks to BenBella Books and NetGalley for a copy in exchange for my honest review.
A quick read with useful advise and examples of people who had a success in their lives. I do not consider this as a book that will give you a guide on how to gain wealth. All those examples and financial/investment info help you evolve your mindset and think out of the box to succeed in whatever you do.
The book is a good collection of the most renewed and known best practices for achieving, obtaining and maintaining wealth. It’s a quick, easy-to-follow collection of the best practices to obtain wealth; it includes all the key points of many other books on self-development and wealth management. It is a well-organised agglomeration of quotes from the best-known authors in the category.
### My evaluation
What did I like the most?
I really enjoyed listening to this, as every key concept was summarised at the extreme, and you could easily stop the book (or audio) after every single one of them, giving you the opportunity to consume the content step by step.
What didn’t I like?
Some key concepts were not explained too much in detail, and some of them required a bit more explanation, examples, or specifics to be well understood by someone not an expert (or not knowledgeable) in the field.
What would I have done differently?
I would have grouped the concepts by author, or by “area of concept”, whereas the author(s) didn’t do so, listing a lot of key principles one after another, making reference to previous (or future) concepts in a non-linear way. It would have required a bit more time to organise them, but I believe the outcome would have been way more enjoyable and understandable by a wider audience.

This is a compilation of one-page "wealth hacks" that show how businessmen came up with clever ways to start huge businesses. For example, wealth hack #3 is to bring ideas from other industries into your business. It says "a browning banana = an empty airplane seat = $$". Then there's a little profile of how the founder of Priceline realized that empty airplane seats could be sold the way "distressed" food items were sold at discount grocery stores, since once the plane takes off or the banana is rotten it's worth nothing. This is a good point, but this is only useful if you're the kind of person who either has millions of dollars to start a company like Priceline or have good enough credit or family connections to borrow it. The average person does not have the capital to start most of the types of businesses profiled in the book. It's great advice if you have access to starter money and want to start some sort of huge company like Paypal, but does not really apply to other ways of building wealth that are realistic for everyday folks.
My rating system: 1 = hated it 2 = it was okay 3 = liked it 4 = really liked it 5 = love it, plan to purchase, and/or would buy it again if it was lost
I read a temporary digital ARC of the book for the purpose of review.
Retain wealth by believing you deserve it any businesses man can attest at one point in their career knowing this would have made them richer today. I really enjoyed this book it's jam packed with goodies. You'll get your money's worth.

This book sounds too good to be true: millionaires (or more accurate, "high net worth" individuals) sharing their success "hacks" with you. It is divided into four parts: 1. Big ideas (innovation), 2. Mogul mindset (attitude to help achieve success), 3. Making it happen (strategic hacks) and 4. Winning wisdom (general statements). According to the author, this book is based loosely on Napoleon Hill's "Think and grow rich".
This book is a quick read. Especially part one and two didn't contain anything of substance, most of the so-called hacks are very generalized or impossible for the common man to achieve. One example of this is Tonino Lamborghini, son of Ferruccio Lamborghini (creator of the famous sports car), who decided to use his famous name to build luxury hotels for which people would spend a lot of money. Right there's a useless hack if I've ever seen one: most people don't have a famous name or the money to build luxury hotels. Other "hacks" include "paying yourself first" or saving 50% of your paycheck, things that should hopefully be a given for most people. I did like a few of the tipps in part three and four, which is why I'm giving the book two stars instead of one. So, to sum up, this book will likely not make you rich, unless you already have money to spend. It's up to you if you wanna spend money on this book.
Don't think of this book as providing any actionable steps for becoming rich. Think of it as a collection of inspirational anecdotes. If you resonate with the "wealth hack" or the white man who said it go research that story further. To say this book gives you the knowledge for "wealth made easy" is like saying "running a marathon is easy, all you need is sneakers".
The overall advice shared by several of the contributors can be summarized by: -Network/explore outside your field. -Be strategic but not fearful with your money. -look for white spaces; do what noone else has thought to do, or do it differently than everyone else.
My favorite part of this audiobook is that in the audible app the chapters are labeled with the "hack". This makes it easy to skim for a refresher. After a while the advice and billionaires all started to blur together.
Most “wealth” books are fluffy piles or garbage philosophies written in massive clumps of text that don’t do any good. This books is the opposite it provides great points and practical examples of how to create wealth. It is an easy read and structured in such a way that you can read a “hack” a day. While it is titled “Wealth Made Easy” it does hit home to create wealth, it takes hard work. Rather than just thinking about wealth coming your way, it tells you to get out there and get it. Great book.
Wealth Made Easy is a ‘self-help’ book with 74 ‘wealth hacks’ to help you make money.
Basically most of this book is saying you need money to make money, if you’ve started off in a position of privilege (rich, famous parents for example) you’ll be able to use this book. Possibly helpful for people who would like to be entrepreneurs, not so helpful for the average person.
Quick read that reminds you of ways success can be achieved. I think it's an excellent quick read to remind yourself about success concepts and consequently motivate yourself and figure out for yourself what success is for you will look like
Very simple and basic read. Throws a lot of ideas at you very quickly allowing you to take from it what you think will work best. Give it a go if you only just found out about FI and are dipping your toe in before taking the dive.
This book should have been a long blog post, I did get some ideas that I hadn't thought before, but I guess I'm not the ideal target market. This book would be more impactful on beginner entrepreneurs who are trying to change their mindset, but there's not much actionable stuff here.
There are great ideas on what to experiment on but what stood out for me are the methods with acronyms 🙌🏾 They are usable in money and outside of money 🚀 Definitely worth listening to, it’ll spark one thing to start working on.
Not bad! Not enough women…good little anecdotes that help you along the way that are quite useful. I would reread only because you get what you need to put in use at the moment you read so next go round something may stick out that did not stick out this time around…
Basic good info. There were a couple nuggets for me. Mostly a good refresher, well organized and cut to the chase. Not a bunch of filler yet no revelations either.
