Mina Carter is a New York Times & USA Today bestselling author of romance in many genres. She lives in the UK with her husband, daughter, a puppy who pays no attention to her whatsoever, and a bossy cat.
Warr is the General of Lord Tane's army. At the end of Kinn's book he got sent of a spy in the citadel and gave chase. The female gave him the slip, but he caught her scent and there was never a thought of giving up.
Max, is Serena's twin, and General of the resistance. She knew she barely escaped Warr by the skin of her teeth and now that he has her scent, he'll never stop coming for her. But Max is a warrior and she's ready to make her last stand, with her army and even to the death.
I love this series of omegaverse novellas. I also really loved Max and Warr. They were like two juggernauts barreling straight towards each other and you had no clue what the outcome was gonna be. Both are warriors and both never intend to lose. I enjoyed the ride.
Even though this is an ARC review, I will always shoot you straight. I received an advanced copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.
This is the fourth book in The Omega Collective series and features Warr and Max. Warr is the General of Lord Tane's army and discovers a spy among them and gives chase. That spy is Max who is Serena's twin sister from the previous book.
Max barely escapes Warr but Warr will not be beaten. He intends on tracking her scent and making her his.
But Max is a whole lot of alpha female, isn't one to back down and there's more going on around them than meets the eye. Warr doesn't like to lose and always gets what he wants. Who will come out on top in this battle of will and strength? Could Max and Warr find happiness together?
This series has been so much fun with just the right amount of action, adventure and steam. However, I will say this one lacked a little relationship development for me as it focused more on the action and adventure part which was a bit of a bummer. Both Warr and Max are warriors and it definitely showed in this story. Overall, a decent read for this series. Looking forward to the next book!
Umm on both sides of the divide. These two characters were such a joy to see come together! I love the spiciness of the omega as she forces her alpha to give chase. And he really is a sweetie wrapped up in a gruff exterior. The authors kept me on my toes as we went from one high intensity moment to the next, and so many secrets were revealed with even more just waiting for their moment. This was a fantastic read, and the ladies did a phenomenal job of keeping with the series overall storyline. I can’t wait to see what happens next!
Warr is book 4 and is super fun to read with great action, gadgets and few new and old characters resurfacing. Max is amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was too short…
I liked it but it didn’t have much substance to it. It was really short, so the characters didn’t get any development and it felt a lot like insta-love, so barely any romance either. It wasn’t a bad read, just kind of like a snack when I was hoping for a meal.
I had fun reading it. Warr sees a human no one else notices during a ceremony & gives chase. Max takes off after she sees her sister Serena is staying with the Alpha. She has to get out of there! Her blocker is failing & it isn't safe to be hear surrounded by the enemies. Her sister is an idiot staying here! She's not! Warr starts chasing her & yelling at her to stop, but she has a quick escape route already planned in case they might have needed one. Running through the Citadel, until she gets to the outside wall, she grabs a rope hanging down. She triggers the wince to quickly pull her up. Half-way Warr jumps & grabs her foot to stop her. For a moment he is very glad he has finally caught his spy. For a another moment she is a little worried until she pulls a knife out & cuts the laces in her boot, unfortunately cutting her foot that gives him the scent of her blood. But it allows her to slip her foot out, letting her continue her quick trip to the top of the wall & leaves him falling onto his back on the street below. With her snide remark to him she disappears over the wall & escapes. He is going to do anything to find this little spy & make her pay for his humiliation. All he has is her boot, as a clue. One of his men Jaxx comes in to tell him that he has found a deserted place where the rebel camp used to be, & it isn't a small operation. He had picked up their signal but lost it again. Warr is angry that he had not been told before now & wants him to find them again fast. Max gets back to their camp late, she had to stop & patch up her foot to stop the bleeding so they couldn't trail her to their camp. She is unhappy that her twin is not with her but that is the way it is. She calls in Harris, her second in command, to tell her about what happened at the citadel & her foot. She tells them to break camp & prepare to move. As they are leaving she stops Barnes, Harris's "friend". Something about him bothers her, she doesn't know what it is. Something just seems wrong. She tells him she needs Harris focused & if he distracts her, she will remove the distraction with a rusty knife. He tells her he will keep Harris safe. She tells him to get out. Warr is waiting for the spy. Rett is late & when he gets there, he is not happy. He asks Warr if he is trying to get him killed by pulling him out like this. Warr wants to know where the camp is. Rett tells him they are still on the move since Warr is hunting the but they are stopping in a few days & tells him where. He wants to know who the spy he almost caught is. Rett tells him her name is Harding. Before they get any farther they here surveillance drones & know they have to get out of there. Rett is already gone. When Warr finally catches up to them with his troops. The rebels are very crafty about hiding out & popping up to make their shots. Plus Jaxx's new technology he has given them isn't working. The helmets have a shield over the eyes that tell if the person they are looking at is an Omega or beta. The problem is, it is saying almost all the soldiers out on the battlefield shooting at them are Omegas & that isn't possible! worthless junk! None of them smell like Omegas. He catches Hardy's scent. He is going to get that spy & she is going to tell him everything! He trails her & finds her. He sees her with a weapon picking off is warriors in perfect sniper mode. He is sneaking up on her when a shot is fired over his head. He can't get a shot at the ones firing at him, they are too well hidden behind an old car. He will have to get rid of them before he can take care of Hardy. When looks to check her, she has her gun over her shoulder & is up & moving. He follows her. She goes into an old building, senses she is not alone. She takes out a knife & pistol waiting. Warr breaks down a wall when he comes through knocking in some of the ceiling causing her to wonder if the whole building will collapse. He tackles her & she starts fighting him until her wrist gives out & is probably broken, she drops her gun. He tells her she has been beat & to give up. She says never, feeling around for any kind of weapon. He takes his helmet off very smugly so she can see who has caught her. Then he tries to kiss her she grabs his helmet & slams it down on his head with as much strength as she can knocking him out. Warr returns to camp so angry it is not funny. He had her! He takes the helmet to Jaxx & tells him to fix it. He tells him that it was reading everything wrong & mad him lose the spy. Jaxx wants to know how it made him lose the spy. Warr told him, it said she was an Omega & he couldn't see her with it on. He took it off. He shows Jaxx the knot on his head & says She did this to me. Jaxx wants to know how he is suppose to make better armor if they take it off? Tane's second in command is there as well. Just great! another thing Warr doesn't need at this time. He tells Jaxx to get his things together, they are going after them. A few days later, Max moves them to the last place. It is not good. The aliens are closing in, Harris is missing but so is Barnes. She calls in the troops to set all the trip wires & bobby traps. They are to put her in the center of a ring of jeeps with explosives everywhere, give her & dead man's trigger & get out. She figures if this is going to be her last stand she is going to take as many of them as she can with her. When she sees the aliens approaching she starts firing with the big gun she has beside her. Warr's helmet finds her. He gets a reading that there are explosives all around her & calls for a cease fire but one of his men had already fired a rocket. He finds her pinned under a car, he is rather smug about Max being his kill until she pulls out the deadman's trigger & with one of her snide comebacks & pretty much says "wanna bet?" He knows they are sitting on enough explosives to kill them both. He manages to get a hold of her hand before she can let go of the trigger & set off the bomb. She is struggling to fight but with her leg pinned she is only hurting herself. He tells her to stop. She says only when one of them is dead. He sees her moving her free hand toward her neck. The one she broke last time they fought, he pins that arm so she can't injur herself more telling her she dies when he says so. She starts calling him names. He says Warr. She says "I know it's war, you guys started it." He says "no, it's my name" putting more alpha in his voice, his helmet says she is an omega, maybe that would make her more submissive. When she tries to knee him in the balls again he sees that is not going to work. He just tells her she is his prisoner & to quit! He has to deactivate the trigger before she manages to let go & kill them both. He swears on his honor she will not be hurt. She tells him, she has never heard of an alien having honor. They learned to hide, fight & take their own lives before they were captured rather than be tortured by the alien raiders who stole their world. He couldn't hardly believe it. She asked him what he thought she was trying to do? She didn't want to be brainwashed & used like her sister. He gets a good look at her & realizes she is the twin sister of Kinn's omega, Serena. He tells her Serena doesn't suffer & if she will tell him how to put the safety on she can see her again. She tells him to take his helmet off he says he remembers what happened last time. He keeps a hold of her & pries it of using something to the side of him. He looks down & she rams her head into his. He grabs her throat, but then he notices the purr she has deep in chest. He names her an omega, which she denies. Again he says she will not suffer. She tells him how to put the safety on. He picks the car up off of her. Which was scary, to see him that strong! She knows that pretty soon her leg is going to start feeling again. It was really going to hurt! She isn't sure if her leg is broke but it is pretty messed up. Just as the nerves are beginning to wake up he tears open her pant leg to spray something on her leg to stop the pain & the bleeding. He picks her up & tells her they are going somewhere private. That sets her off she starts fighting him again. He sets her on the ground to get down to her & find out why she is being like this. Again she is making this purring noise, & feeling safe enough around him to get sleepy. She wakes up in a place she doesn't know, claiming he drugged her. He says what he did for her was for a dose his people & she is tiny, that was what happened. He goes on to say she was hurting herself. You would have done the same, right, Hardy? She says good for you, you know my name. He says Serena has a feminine name she does not. Max tells him it's their family name. Her's is Maxine. He says she must have the patch her sister had to change her scent & take it off. Again she denies it all. He tells her to take it off or her will strip her & find it himself. She says so much for being protected. He tells her he doesn't know how it will react with the medicine he has given her. He asks if all the dead women out in the wastelands are omegas & she said yes. He tells her to give him the blade as well. She gives it to him. He comments on the shape, saying he hasn't seen on like this before. She says it is a combat version so they don't stab themselves while they fight & train. He wants to know how many carry them, she stops & says a few. He demands to know how many. She says she won't give up her people! Which gives him more to think about. He says you have another name, don't you? She can see right there when he figures it out. She says Max. He grabs her by the throat pinning her to the ground "you're their leader!" She just goes limp hoping when he kills her, it will be quick. He couldn't believe it! She wasn't a spy! She was an omega General! If she was an omega, maybe Jaxx's helmet wasn't faulty & all those warriors on the battlefield were omegas! What a horrible thought! He pulled her boot off & found the patch to remove it. Again he asks "why?" She goes to tell him some of the horror stories of what happened to the people here on Earth when aliens first took over. She said they weren't the only warrior species in the galaxy, just the onse with space ships. He tells her she is his omega. She wants to know what this is about, he hasn't got any idea. That helps break the ice so to speak. Afterward Max figure she has just lost her mind that she is accepting Warr as her alpha. That's what it is. A few days later they are watching a storm brewing from where they have taken shelter. They both sense someone near them. She calls out & tells that person to come out. She sees Barnes come out & when he tries to say something she cuts him off saying she doesn't want to hear it when he is siding with the enemy. When he comes forward she notices something different about him & realizes he is an Alpha himself. Warr tells him to stay back Max is his. He looks at her, gives his real name, Rett & tells her it was an honor to fight by her side. Still angry she tells him she knew something was wrong about him & walks to him. She asks him where Harris is & starts hitting him. Warr finally pulls her away he knows how hard she can hit. Rett tells her Harris is safe. Warr starts to ask questions & when Rett is about to answer, Max tells him if he says anything she will kill him. He goes to inform Warr that almost all the warriors were omegas. He swears there can't be that many on the planet, Rett says there are, they just hide themselves well. Warr assumes Rett is right by the anger Max is showing all the information he is giving him. Rett comments on the storm nearing & L'crav aliens closing in. He was going back to Harris. Warr looks around Max is gone. She is looking for Harris, hoping to find her & get them both out this trouble. When he catches up to her they are surrounded by the other aliens. He gives her a gun so they both can fight. They kill the rebel aliens after them & lay low to relax for a few days before Warr takes them to the citadel. He is going to introduce his omega to the lord overseer, Tane, Max wants to know if she can punch him in the face. Warr is telling her No! On the way to get to his chambers Serena & Max see each other & get to be rejoined. Tane starts to question Warr & Max tells him to back off. He goes on to say when his spy gets back he is going to kick his ass again. She turns to tell Serena Barnes is one of them & has Harris. Serena says when Harris finds out he lied to her she is going to kill him. Warr goes to introduce Tane to his omega, Maxine Hardy, General of the Omega resistance. Tane asks "General?" Warr says "General" Later Tane is questioning Mother Superior about all the things Warr has reported & wants to know what she say. She says Warr is wrong. He goes on to say she could probably stop this war & she tells him that he gives her too much credit. He doesn't believe her but will wait. I can't wait to get the next one.
I loved this one! It was great getting to see Max figure out how her sister could have become a "traitor". I loved getting to see Max and Warr figure things out. She outsmarts him a few times and definitely shows what a warrior she is and it causes Warr to have to rethink some things. I loved how Warr didn't take away what she was capable of. This was different than the other books as Max had a reputation that couldn't be changed once they figured out it was a female and an Omega one at that. I loved getting to see Max's strength and the way that Warr respected it. He was able to accept her for who she was rather than really trying to change her. I loved the interactions between these two and how Max was such a bad*** throughout the whole story. I am super excited to continue to read books in this series and to get certain characters ones as well. I keep getting teased with Lord Tane's book and I can't wait for it to come around. This is the fourth book in the series and while it can be read as a standalone there are certain events and things about this world that would make more sense, resonate more, if the series had been read in order. Everything needed is in the story. There is plenty of action and intrigue throughout the story and a few twists thrown in as well. I can't wait to see where the series goes next and I really hope to get more of Warr and Max and to see what role Max will continue to play as a female Omega that is a great warrior and strategist. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Warr is the fourth book in the Omega Collective series. I suggest reading the books in order for full understanding of events and characters. Max is the general of the resistance and hiding a huge secret. On the run from Warr for weeks, she’s finally captured. But when her secret is revealed, how will Max handle Warr, the situation she’s in, and the people she’s protecting?
I have to admit, this was such an interesting read. I loved Max’s strength, the ways she fought and fought so hard for freedom and safety and for the women around her. It was almost difficult to see her Omega side take over her independence at times, but I loved that it added a deeper side to her. She wasn’t just a kick butt warrior, but her body had needs and desires that were counter to what her brain screamed. She has faced so much pain from her past and from those around her. Warr is single minded when it comes to finding his little spy, but it was equally fascinating to find out that everything he thought he knew or understood about human omegas was not true. He’s intrigued by her warrior nature just as much as enthralled by her omega status. I loved them together, the ways they fought, the ways they thought each other to be enemies, but their bodies demanded so much more. There was mutual respect, softer moments of cherishing each other, and I loved the scenes where they had to work together. I really enjoyed this book! I am loving this series! I look forward to next couple!
As expected I did not like the heroine Max. Out of all these stubborn and "badass" heroines she was the worst.
At one point the after she attempts to escape the hero Warr for the twentieth time in five mins he says to her: “Why are you like this? I have given you my word, and you accepted it. This stubbornness only puts us both in danger.”
Which pretty much sums up my feelings on her.
Listen, I have no issue with strong, stubborn, independent and badass heroines. I don't. But the way they've been portrayed in this series just rub me wrong. It's not like we're able to delve deeper into their history and truly understand these women. We have bare minimum facts to work with here. But the sheer amount of stubbornness that were forced to endure is exhausting. Because we all know there is stubborn and then there is stubborn for the sake of being stubborn which is just obnoxious and lacking maturity IMHO.
Add in that the heroine calls the hero an asshole more times than I can count? I mean three times was plenty. Thankyouverymuch.
Overall things just didn't flow well for me and I skimmed quite a bit once they had sex the first time. I did like the hero Warr though and am still interested in Tane's story.
I keep thinking these stories can't get any better, but they do! I couldn't put this book down! This story hit on all the targets for a fantastic book that's fun to read. It was full of action from start to finish. The female heroine, Max, was magnetic. She was the leader of the rebellion forces, she was a fighter, a strategist, the general in charge of her band that was trying to oust the invaders, and brave, oh my gosh, she has guts! Warr was her counterpart on the invader side, focused on his goals, determined to track down the suspected spy, absolutely clueless about whom he was really fighting against. I loved the twists the story took, the way that Max constantly spoke her mind and stood up for what she thought was right. I received a copy of this book as an ARC and I'm leaving this review freely and voluntarily. I love both of these authors individually but together they bring the fire every time. This book is as good as the ones that came before, and they're all the best so far when I'm reading them, and I'm really looking forward to seeing how the stories of the ancillary characters unfold!
Max and Warr sizzled in a no holds warred battle of the wills. She was a resistance fighter, one of the best, and had no problems going head to head with the enemy. Aliens had taken over Earth years before yet humans were still fighting, not ready to give up. Warr was part of the new wave invaders, not willing to make the same mistakes as those who came before him. Max thought he was the same as the rest. He was going to prove her wrong…
This is the latest in the Omega Collective series and I was ready for the heat! Super steamy, there was also a deep connection between Max and Warr. They were two strong leaders, fierce fighters, that knew how to argue, to spar and to, eventually, love… I loved these characters. They were noble and fearless, surprisingly funny at times, with sarcasm a frequent weapon in Max’s arsenal. Neither was willing to give an inch so you know the battles were hard-fought and sweeter for it…
Teasing me at the end with things to come, for now I’m going to savour how Max and Warr both won this round, before looking ahead to the next skirmish…
Max was not going to be caught like her sister Serena. No Alpha was going to take her. But Warr came really close. He almost had her is not for her one boot. The female was tiny and the boot glared at him. He will have her and she will not get away again. But there was something about this Beta that was off. There were hints of it in her scent. Kind of funny. It is Cinderella in alien form with a boot and an Alpha in hot pursuit.
I love that Max is a tough take no prisoners woman. She felt that her sister was brain washed but she learns that isn’t the case. The parth and heat take hold of her. Warr, he isn’t too happy when he gets out smarted by her. He is shocked what he finds out about the rebels. And we already know about Rett being the insider. But Max didn’t. She was not happy and even worse, he has his mate. The L’Carv were cruel and caused so much trouble to all the omegas. Now that peace is in hand and time for this all to end. And what about Lord Tane. Something about Mother Superior. I am looking forward to finding out what happens to Rett and Anya.
💥 “You are mine. That will never change. My omega. My mate.” ~~~ The epic Clash of the Generals!
Max is the General of the human resistance. She’s one badass woman - strong, brave, feisty, protective and smart. And she never backs down, no matter what. She’s a force to be reckoned with and I loved her so much!
Warr is the General of Lord Tane's armies. He’s one fearsome, possessive, bossy and determined male. Even more, he’s fiercely protective and intelligent. I loved everything about him!
Oh, I absolutely loved how they tried to outsmart each other. And, Warr and Max had such great chemistry and the passion they shared as scorching hot. I especially loved that he was treating her as an equal on the battlefield despite her being an omega.
In addition, so many secrets are revealed. Oh, I can’t wait to see what will happen next.
Overall, the story is another fantastic addition to the series. It’s filled with fast-paced action, twists, battles, steamy romance and magnificent characters.
I couldn’t put it down and loved every page of it!
The rebel leader, a so-called lowly omega disguised as a beta, Maxine aka/Max really gives Warr, Lord Tane's general, a run for his money. Finished this, Book #4 in The Omega Collective series, in one afternoon; it was that good. I discovered strong characters in Max and Warr; a perfect pitting off-of each other. From their very first meeting their battle of wills begins. Max leads her troops in guerilla tactics reminiscent of those used by the Revolutionary colonists against the British. Tactics abhorrent to Warr who's race fights face to face against their enemies. There is, of course, a HEA for these two but there are also hints of more omega-warrior stories to come. What about the spy A'rett aka/Rett? Hmmm? Ms. Hayes has another great read here. I received an ARC of this book via Bookfunnel
You know when two of your favorite authors come together you can expect no less than amazing. Warr, book 4 of the Omega Collective easily rated 5 stars.
I enjoy a story that is not only hot but makes me laugh, the snarky from both star players was a lot of fun, they both gave as they got. The big bad warrior shows he isn't all growly all the time. But then when he is he is truth to behold a battled warrior. The match: our sexy sassy General when most wouldn't dream of standing toe to toe with one such alien, especially a General Max does and when they come together. All I can say is whew.
The mix of the hunt, the slip of escape, did I mention the hunt? and oh my the prize to be had. Cant wait for Rett's story he's so in trouble. Hmmm, and the priestess yes very intriguing. Gimmie more!
A great read! a lot of heat and a lot of fun! Enjoy.
Warr gets a big shock when he meets the Rebel General in battle! He's had a run-in with this female before and she's not getting the better of him again.
Loved the way that Warr just treated Max as his equal on the battlefield, even though he couldn't wrap his brain around females fighting at first. The H'thor really need to come up with a way to differentiate themselves from the L’crav - there have been a lot of needless deaths, warriors and Omega's in general, trying to escape what the females think of as a fate worse than death.
Enjoyable romp through this alternative, far-flung future Earth!
Relly enjoyed meeting up with the H'thor spy extraordinaire, A'Rett. He has a lot of explaining to do!
This was more like a novella. The content seemed “jerky” for lack of a better word. The story, to me, didn’t gel. This is the story of Warr and Max. Max is the sister of Serena Kinn’s mate. Max is one of the generals in charge of the rebellion. They fight to keep the alien warriors at bay unknowing that the warriors there now are there to help them. The previous warriors had brutalized them horribly. Warr meets Max the night Kinn plans to kill himself to set his mate free. He catches her on the grounds of the Citadel there to help her sister escape. But, her sister decided to stay with her mate. The storyline could have been a little better. There are sexual scenes that may offend some readers.
Maxine is a twin to Serena who has been claimed by an alpha. Maxine is also known as Max the rebel leader, she does not understand her twin and has vowed to do everything possible to avoid being claimed by an alpha. An alpha has scented her and is tracking her until he catches her or so he thinks but she gets away from him a few times. Ultimately Warr wins and catches up with Max in an effort to save her life. Max has no idea what has come over her but she bites Warr and claims him, it was an action out of her control, it was instinctual. Now she is stuck with him since they are bonded by that bite. I love this book, Max is a strong minded female who knows what she wants even if her head hasn't caught up with her heart. This is a great story with fascinating characters.
It’s clear that Max had not heard, nor did he know the meaning of that "I will not drink this water." After so much criticizing Serena's decision! "So much swimming, only to die on the shore". She fought tooth and nail, but the result was the same. I was very entertained by the dynamic between Warr and Max. Two skilled war generals clashing with strength, wit and passion. Warr made me laugh with his frustration. Omegas are not docile and submissive at all. Fierce and fearless! The story maintains an atmosphere of intrigue and suspense that keeps me waiting for the other stories and specially Tane's.
All Max wanted to do was rescue her sister. But instead she peaked the interest of a general. C as n she continue to evade capture? Warr is the latest in Mina Carter and Susan Hayes' The Omega Collective series. Warr is determined to find the individual that bested him not once but twice. Will third be the charm, at least for him? I enjoyed seeing Warr learn from and about Max. She is giving him a run for his money even as she strategized her campaigns. But when he finally one ups her, can Max accept the changes coming? I thoroughly enjoyed finding out as both Warr and Max get a lesson in trust.
I have to admit I was a little surprised as to how short this story was. Read it in about 2 hrs. When I checked the lengths of the previous books, I noted this was the shortest of the series. Thinking they were getting shorter as the series went on, I wondered why. But really when I thought a bit longer I realized that even though it was a mere 110 pages, it was constant motion. Never a dull minute with lots of action. It made the time go almost too fast, but incredibly enjoyable. I look forward to Rett's book.
While I was given an ARC from the authors, I freely am reviewing this book and whole heartedly believe it well worth your time and $$
Warr is going to catch the spy that got away. He is hunting the rebel spy down. After a tip from a spy uncover he has found her but what he finds turns his blood cold. It a women and she’s standing on a vehicle holding a trigger to explodes ready to take her life and as many of his warriors as she can. But one of his men launched a rocked to take her out but he try’s to get there first. He fines her alive but pinned under the vehicle so now he has to stop her from pushing the trigger and finishing the job. So enjoy another good read each book has gotten better in this series!!
When I started this book I couldn’t put it down, the characters wow you with their sincerity and depth and the storytelling puts you right there in the thick of things with Max and Warr. As leader of the local resistance Max is a force to recon with. A woman after my own heart she was taught at an early age to stand up against tyranny, and the L’crav were monsters how can the H’thor be any different. Warr is a kick@$$ soldier, but he is also an intelligent male with deep feelings. With plenty of action too this tale will keep you flipping the pages.
Explosive meeting of the hearts and military minds when Warr catches up to Max and realizes who she is. Enlightening to witness how they both come to terms with all of the misinformation thought to be fact that caused much unnecessary hardships. Max's own agenda gets them both caught up in an intelligently sexy meeting of the minds that's like watching sarcastic poetry in motion. I could listen to them square off all day! Never a dull moment. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book.
Obviously, I have been wholly enthralled with this series! Once I started reading, I've been so hypnotized by the writing, the imagination woven into the characters attitudes and personalities, the conflicts, the overwhelming attraction, and the passionate eroticism of the central characters that I can't stop reading until I finish each book! I usually bounce between 2 or 3 books simultaneously, plugging through the "slow" sections, even n books I rate a 4 or 5! I'm totally addicted to your series! Waiting, painfully for the next one!
Another installment in this series. I like Max, she's wicked smart and has a mission to protect those she loves as well as getting rid of as many of the enemy as she sees it. When a mission comes close to call her blood is left and the male who has it, will not let her be. Warr, the general who is after the rebels, cannot understand why they put their females in danger to be spies, and he's keen to capture the lady who escaped him once before. However nothing is as it seems and these two will find out just how true that is, as they get closer together.
I bought this book around 6:00 P.M. I opened it immediately and even ate dinner with it in front of me! The combination of feisty Omegas plus absolutely yummy Alphas blended with former betrayal and abuse to overcome between them had me glued to my Kindle. Now that it is almost 2:00A.M. I need to go to bed with spicy dreams ahead. Yes! I highly recommend this Romance and look forward to reading more of this series in the future. These authors make quite a team together.
This series keeps putting out ten star reads! I think this is my favorite…Warr, the arrogant general verses the general of the rebellion, Max. Could there be anymore fireworks? I think King Thane’s book could and should probably match this one on the heat scale. I loved the characters of the two generals, matching wits…it made for an extraordinary read. The romance was hot and the plot was solid. I hope this series never ends. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Like a strong female lead? Like a clueless alpha male? This is the book for you. Max has been protecting a group of omegas and helping them defend themselves from the alien invaders. Warr is an alien general determined to capture Max and her group. His mind is totally blown by the fact that they are mostly women and that they’ve been so successful against him. I loved this high energy story and look forward to the next installment.
Warr is the fourth book in the Omega collective by Mina Carter and Susan Hayes. This features the leader of the rebellion, Max and her alpha, Warr. Max already feels like she’s lost her sister to the opposite side and now she gets captured by an alpha and and starts to understand why her sister did what she did. There is great emotional conflict and steamy tension between the characters. I definitely recommend you read this book!
