God, when I thought this series couldn't get any better, they give me Tia's POV...
This is probably honestly one of my favorites within this series... When Tia finally turns 21, she understands her father's motives. A birthday party Tia never wanted, a crown she never craved, and a partner she has no choice in. This novel tells the fast-paced story of Tia's journey to finding her way and losing everything she once knew.

Tia O'Shea is the future queen of Iskalt and her father, the present king, wants her to get married. He arranges a ball where he invites potential suitors, but Tia doesn't want to be forced into marriage. To get away from it all she manages to open a portal to the human world. But when she decides to return something goes wrong. Instead of going back to Iskalt she ends up in a foreign kingdom, right on a battlefield. Not only is she taken prisoner by a broody prince, but Tia's magic doesn't seem to work anymore. How will she ever get home again?
Tia reminds me a bit about Rowan, the princess in books by Elle Madison and Robin D Mahle - and that's high praise! They both like to do as they please and don't always think about the consequences. Both have me frustrated sometimes, but in a good way. 😉

At the moment I can't wait to read more about Tia and her adventures! I highly recommend this series!

I have the feeling of a pairing in one of the upcoming books.
Ignoring those similarities, it is a good story. The violence and gore aren't detailed, and there is no 'adult' content. The characters, while the typical stereotypes, are still relatable and hold their own in the story, though some of the minor characters who did play an important part blended in too much with each other because they didn't get enough introduction; names, descriptions, etc, so when their name was mentioned I wasn't sure who they were at first until the sentence gave more information.
Good story, good series, and I highly recommend it to readers fourteen and older who need a light fantasy read.

This is Tia's story. There are characters from the previous books in the story. I love getting to see them again. The way the story goes we see more of Tia without magic. Since a child she has been ver powerful and it was interesting to see how she manages without it. Her relationship with her parents is a bit humorous. I do wish Myles was around a bit more in uncle mode. Story is fast paced and it was a one-sitting read for me.

I was so happy for the story in this fae world to continue. We now get to see Tia all grown up and off on new adventures. I will say it may seem a little slow in the first few chapters if you have read the other books because it does alot of recapping within the new story. The pace does pick up once Tia is thrown into an unknown kingdom only thought to be legend. She much fight both tooth and nail to survive in a place that looks down so much on their women to be helpless damsels, and that is something she is surely not. Intriguing story with a whole otherside of the fae world and their different ways, and war ragging everywhere. I'll be happy so see how this story grows and what twist it will take.

I’ve loved this entire series, but I think Tia’s story is my new favorite.
The first three books read as a complete trilogy, the next three as another, so this seventh book is the start of the next, and it’s absolutely amazing. The trilogies within the series can technically be read on their own, so you can start with this one, but I highly recommend all of them.
I loved jumping back into this incredible world Craven and Lynn have created. They expanded it so well with the few books, but this one really took it to a whole other level.
The characters, however, are what drew me in and made it difficult to stop reading. Tia is strong and fierce, but she’s also relatable. Her friendship with Gulliver is one of my favorite things ever. It’s so pure and loving, and it just made me smile, even when they were facing some intense situations.
Then, there are the new characters, Keir, Eavha, and Declan, among many others. Keir and Eavha are the prince and princess of Lenya, and Declan is their friend and guard. We all know this is my favorite trio trope of all time, so I was very happy. Keir is broody and a fighter, but he’s loyal and wants to do right by his people. Eavha is the sheltered princess who wants more of a life. Declan is their guard and Keir’s best friend, and I ship him and Eavha so hard it hurts.
Together, with Tia and Gullie as prisoners, we get to see the workings of this new kingdom and its internal battles for power. Everything was just very well developed.
The writing, as usual, was great, as was the pacing. It was a little bit slower at first, but that’s to be expected in the beginning of a trilogy that’s part of a bigger series. There’s a good bit of recapping and build up but not in an overwhelming or drawn-out way. It flowed well and wasn’t just a bunch of info dumps, which was really nice.
This was one of my favorite books of 2021. I loved seeing the evolution of these characters in this new story, and I’m so, so excited to see where they go next. I can’t wait for more!

👑Heavy is the head...and all that jazz 😉💖
Welcome to the next trilogy within the BRILLIANT 'QUEENS OF THE FAE' series. While it's not 100% necessary to have read the previous books before to enjoy this gem, I do recommend doing so. After all...each and every one are epic in their own right, plus it'll give you a wealth of backstory, world building, and character development of certain characters from their earlier years 😉.
Now back to the newest tale within this wonderful adventure series. Tia and her twin Toby are about to turn twenty, and as the heir she has certain "expectations" according to their father. Yup the news of said expectations (read: not getting to choose ones own life partner) doesn't go over too well..among other things, and Tia and her temper gets herself into a wee bit of a pickle. Guess the apple doesn't fall too far from the maternal tree eh 😉 (read previous books in series about her parents).
This book is centered around our incredibly brave, big hearted, strong, fearless, determined, powerful, and at times uncertain princess as she desperately tries to navigate through tricky situations and keep everyone safe. Things aren't always as they seem, and she'll have to rely on instinct and not magic for once in her life. There are mysteries to unravel and many adventures to be had. Something more complicated than mere good vs evil is afoot here...where myths and fairy tales are suddenly real and her magic all but gone. Is she now Alice through the Looking Glass? If anyone can figure this out its Tia and Gullie. Get ready for an AMAZING adventure with many twists and turns. You'll cheer, and occasionally want to chuck eggs at a character or two 😉...but will NEVER be bored!! I absolutely cannot wait for the next in this trilogy, especially after that cliffhanger! This entire Queens of the Fae world captured my heart from the very first book. Join in all the fun...you won't regret it 💖!

and I am surprised! At first, a Tia story didn’t attract me. She was not my fav character from the previous trilogy. 😶 (I always felt like being powerful was her only purpose. She did not stand out to me before)

His character growth is truuuuu the roof!! He changes so much with Tia’s help, from dark, broody and judgy to open minded, generous and kind. I LOVE HIM!!

I have to add that I feel like the writing and the pacing gets better with every book. At first, everything felt very YA, but this one is more mature, but still enjoyable. So all the trilogies are written so you don’t have to read them all to understand the next, but I dare say they are worth it.

I’m so happy to be back into the world of Queen of the Fae. Melissa and M. Lynn have such cute covers and come up with some of the best story lines. A huge thank you to them both for sending me a copy of this book to read and review for them.
I loved that this next installment of the series is told from Tia’s point of view. I loved her character when she was a child and am excited to see how her story moves forward as an adult. This book introduced us to a few newer characters some of which we get more time with than others in this book, but I’m very interested in seeing how she interacts with these characters more in the future books. The love interest or what I’m assuming is the love interest is a prince in a faraway kingdom that’s been at war for years. We see how rough he is but also how caring he is, and I can’t help but think he is prefect for Tia. While he is a loveable character, we meet some not so loving characters, and I would love to see more of their motives.
The plot of this book is rather simple and makes the book a quick but enjoyable read. I found myself needing the next book right away after the ending of this book. I really want to see if we get a love story for Tia and how these new kingdoms will interact with our previous kingdoms that Tia is familiar with. Will they all live in peace and harmony, or will the kingdoms be a war after having peace for so many years?
I recommend this book for anyone who wants to start getting into fantasy and want something that isn’t a huge book. While the world building is explained through all the books in this series, I think that it’s something that newbie fantasy reader could understand. If you like strong female characters who push against social norms but are kind and caring people, you will love Tia our main character. The romance seems to be a slower burn and doesn’t appear to be steamy as many of the books in this series tend to have more fade to black scenes.

5 🌟 Just because Michelle Lynn was excited for me to read these books 🤗 Books 1-3 will always be my favorite. These are quick books to read and I see how the first book of 7-9 is starting the story , I get it. I’m already on 8 and I love it more than book 7 and I know book 9 will end just right. Tia is definitely Brea’s daughter but stronger 💪🏼

Focusing on the next generation we are once again kept on the edge of our seats.
Such a thrilling adventure for all the characters and character building for the main one.
You take them all to your heart and share their tumultuous journey.
But at the end…..well is it the end? Not so much a cliffhanger but it does two things. It gives the reader a chance to fill in the blanks but also the author to continue the series.
Either way , I’m a happy reader and I know you will be too.

Couldn’t help myself, I had to finish this book the day I started reading it.
Tierney is the daughter of Brea Robinson, whom was the main character in most of the Fae series previously. She completely shutdown the prison realm with her brother Toby when they were only 10 years old.
Now 10 years after, the current dilemma is becoming heir to the throne of Iskalt. And whom she has to marry. Her father puts together a list of princes she has to chose from and she’s not all about choosing someone who would only care about her status.
Portaling alone isn’t something she normally does. When she feels confident enough to make an attempt, things go wrong. She ends up in the middle of a battlefield again.
I was super invested in finding out how it ended. But it unfortunately didn’t, it seems like there will be another book in the series or more. I love this so much, Tierney was my favorite in the Griffin’s series and want to see her happily ever after.

We can’t just stay ten forever
At some point in our lives, we grow up and face our responsibilities. Usually, that entails getting a job and raising a family. Expectations are much different and the stakes are higher for royals, nobility, & the uber-wealthy. I do not envy those born with their burdens, regardless of how silver that spoon is.
Tia et al accidentally portal into a misogynistic kingdom, which is quite a challenging shock for our heroine. I’m all for individuals being able to choose employment according to their strengths and interests. The author brought up an even stronger point regarding societal roles – we need to seriously consider the below when raising our girls:
When males do not allow “their” females to protect themselves, then who will protect the females from their males?
About fifteen years ago while living in the Midwestern U.S., a Krav Maga studio gave free classes to females after the body of a young woman had been found days after her kidnapping in broad daylight from a mall parking lot. Yes, the murderer was charged and also for the other body found nearby.
These men took it upon themselves to begin righting a wrong – the concept that girls don’t fight. We NEED to know how to and to be in shape in order to either run away or take down our attacker(s). Lives will be saved IRL, not just in fairy tale battles.

At some point in our lives, we grow up and face our responsibilities. Usually, that entails getting a job and raising a family. Expectations are much different and the stakes are higher for royals, nobility, & the uber-wealthy. I do not envy those born with their burdens, regardless of how silver that spoon is.
Tia et al accidentally portal into a misogynistic kingdom, which is quite a challenging shock for our heroine. I’m all for individuals being able to choose employment according to their strengths and interests. The author brought up an even stronger point regarding societal roles – we need to seriously consider the below when raising our girls:
When males do not allow “their” females to protect themselves, then who will protect the females from their males?
About fifteen years ago while living in the Midwestern U.S., a Krav Maga studio gave free classes to females after the body of a young woman had been found days after her kidnapping in broad daylight from a mall parking lot. Yes, the murderer was charged and also for the other body found nearby.
These men took it upon themselves to begin righting a wrong – the concept that girls don’t fight. We NEED to know how to and to be in shape in order to either run away or take down our attacker(s). Lives will be saved IRL, not just in fairy tale battles.

Getting to know Tia on this level was an absolute joy. Getting to see beyond the fire plains, to more than the four kingdoms, was a great experience. I can’t wait to discover more of Lenya. I really hope to hear from Gulliver’s point of view, his character has a lot of depth that I feel like we haven’t even begun to scratch the surface on him. I loved (and hated) the Vondurian court, I think the contrast of their court to what we know in the Four Kingdoms was beautifully done. There’s also some hints to the history of the fire plains that I can’t wait to hear about, though I have a sneaking suspicion we won’t know what those involve until the book after next.

I enjoyed the original trilogy and the follow up trilogy so it only make sense that the beginning of the third would be exceptional. I loved reading about Tia and seeing her all grown up. I expected she'd become a fierce individual since she was such a fiery child. The setting is new but still feels like the same world and the cast is primarily new individuals with an exception of her best friend. Can't wait to see how the second book and rest of the trilogy plays out. I have some guesses but I'm saving them to see if things change in book 2. No huge cliffhangers but definitely lots of loose ends. Definitely recommend and if you haven't read the first two trilogies, start there.

I have to say, the more I have continued on with the series, the more interest I have lost. It felt like the first trilogy had so much heart and I mainly enjoyed it for the characters who we barely see no more.
I didn't connect with any of the characters in this book and honestly the story never really grabbed me.
I was always listning with half an ear and didn't pay close attention to the story.
Also, Tierney, the main character was really getting on my nerves and she frustrated me a lot.
I'm sad to say it but the latest books in the series have been 3 star reads so I think I'm finally giving up on this series all together.

Amazing!
Book 1 in Tia's story is everything we have come to expect from these 2 authors in this Fae world they have created. Tia definitely learns some lessons the hard way but never looses who she is and is still putting people in their place and making everyone around her love her. Can't wait till book 2!

Where did I go,how do I get home
I have grown to love this series. All the characters live in my heart. I would recommend it to anyone of any age. I wish it had Audible. I don't tell what is in the books I read. That is for you to read and find out. You won't be disappointed. I hope you enjoy this series as much as I have. Can't wait for the next book. Off to my next adventure.

Determined
Sorry, forced arranged marriages are just wrong. Some may say Tia was being spoiled and stubborn to avoid choosing a betrothed. Others would argue she was determined to fight for the right to make her own choice and fight for the opportunity for love. Gullie and the others just got pulled in for the ride.

Great story with plenty of action and suspense to keep you interested. I love seeing the next generation grown up and finding their own places in the world and this series does it well, although the book can be read as a stand alone.

I highly enjoyed this book 7 in the series. Tia and her brother Toby were amazing characters and I loved the development there. The book was exciting with lots of unexpected twists and turns. The author took us on a journey and I'm so excited for the final book in this series.

I personally think this is the best book in the series so far. I am looking forward to the release of book 8. The introduction of a new world with unique characters and new challenges has awakened my enthusiasm for this series.

Loved loved loved getting to see more of Tia! I can already tell that she is going to get in wayyyy over her head with the prince in the new land she’s found herself in! We love an enemies to lovers trope! Can’t wait to keep listening to this series!

I think this was a really good story, It did kind of feel like a "history repeating itself" how Brea was in Fargelsi not trusting Lochlan and etc.
I do think it was a good start to Tia's story, I can't wait to see what happens as she tries to make it back home with Gulliver~

Love this series. I did listen to the audio books and I think it made all the difference. I would probably like the series but the narrator made this book so much more entertaining.
