Beyond Lies
Hi, I am Tia Bakshi. Nobody knows where I am. Hell, even I don’t know where I am. I don’t even know who my captor is, my blindfold doesn’t allow me to see anything. I don’t even know how this will end. Can anyone be more clueless about their lives?
Tied up in this jilted place I have little to do, but reminiscence my old life. I had it all; a loving family, a dependable friend, a compassionate fiancé, a dream job. I never had time to analyze my relationships then, but now in this god-forsaken place, amid fear and doubts, all I have is time and I can see the cracks I ignored for so long.

A thrilling suspense story where a young girl gets kidnapped.
The room is dead dark and smells of fear , vengeance and sin.
She is kept captive for days and uncountable nights.
A prick on her arms after she wakes up, listens to high pitch voices talking something and she is again gone to sleep. Who is the culprit ? Who threw whom from the bridge with which the first chapters start ? Was it a murder or accidental case ? Is it a serial killers work or a relatively close one ? Is it about wealth , love or a long hidden secret ? Or a story of revenge from jealousy love . Read the story of samar , tia, simran , Kiara . And let the final pages surprise you. It will make you wonder the psychology behind criminal minds and their complex ways of intelligence.
I absolutely loved the way author made the story unfold. Brilliant way of narration . Author swirled the magic of words slowly .Mysterious ,it felt like watching a horror movie .
Nice work . Would love to read more stories by the author.

It is so difficult to keep psychological thriller lucid, the understandable timeline of past and present actions along with connective writing style, to feel it. And these things I found in "BEYOND LIES."
The opening of the story stroke goes well. Ever since Tia and Samar's story started brewing the birth of love between them with further binds like starting from meetings, scenes, and action time is well progressed in the plot. Tia Bakshi, a 24-year-old girl, born innocent, loving nature, talkative, attractive, beautiful and adorable living carefree life girdled with a loving family, best friend Kiara and fiance Samar until one day found herself locked up abruptly. The darkness enveloped Tia in an unwelcome way after her engagement to Samar. She kept blindfolded, tortured mentally and physically, fed her favorite dishes in less quantity by her captor. Every day she lived in terrific fear although she kept hope that one day her loved ones will find her anyway.
Samar held some past secret which he never thought that it could ruin his life completely. It's the love triangle that led to jealousy so deteriorating which led three lives in danger zone. No matter what, truth always comes out by just one ray of hope. Now, Tia is held captive in a dark room all alone, on the other hand, Samar is trying everything, out of her might to find her lost love.
This book is mysterious and keeps the reader engaged until the edge of the story. I read preface before starting the story and when I came back to the edge, then I predicted half of it. Initially, I felt the captor is freaky insane like hell but when she confessed the recording which Samar came to know then this freaky mad captor left me in contradiction.Well, the language is a pretty good and fast-paced train. The narration style is nice and comprehensive as well. The plot setting is well planned by diverging the past and present scenario with characters development.The cover page reveals the preface of the story and connected. The best part of the book is, a beginner can also enjoy this psychological thriller because of easy use of writing style. Yay!

Beyond Lies written by author Alka Dimri Saklani is a nice interesting mystery fiction.
This is my second book from the author (earlier had read Beyond Scars book) . I find one thing in common in both books, the author has empathy for the captor/sinner/stalker who's crazy in/for love.
Plot revolves around three characters mainly Samar, Tia and Kaira. So who is good, who is bad, what's their past/secrets, how they cross each others, impact they leave on the other etc. answers to before and more by reading the book. Plot is interesting and entertaining. Narration is too non linear which makes plot engaging. Characters, emotions and feelings penned are well developed and appear real.
Came to know the dangers of being stalked and could feel/perceive the mind of person. Language used by author is simple.
Would recommend to all fiction readers.

*How long does it take for a scar to heal?*
A sweet chubby innocent girl, who lives life on her own rules, calls herself a "prank master" and trusts everybody blindly could never imagine that her innocence and trust could turn her exuberant life into a horrible nightmare.
She had a prestigious job, a loving family, a faithful best friend, a caring fiance ; suddenly a stalker dig the nail of lust and suck out the soul from her body.
The creepy ups and downs through out the pages make the book unputdownable.
How suddenly an incident changes the whole meaning of life! How much can you love someone to keep (or preserve?) them to yourself from rest of the world?
The narration is so good , that it makes you feel the pain.
80% of the story was relatable to real life incidents, but rest of it , specifically the climax seemed to be similar to Bollywood movie scripts.
Yes, the writing style is good, but some questions are unanswered, which creates a few plotholes.
Overall it was a light, fast paced and enjoyable.

A nail biting thriller that keeps you hooked till the very end.
I read such a thrilling book, which made me excitedly look forward to the time I could go back to reading it, after a really long time. The ‘What happens next?’ and ‘OMG, I did not expect that’ moments and elements in this one, make it a great read.
What I liked about the book:
—> The story is told from the PoVs of all the main characters, which makes us doubt everyone.
—> The end really really takes you by surprise (kudos to the author for this one as I’m usually able to correctly guess the culprit in most of the suspense and thriller books that I read)
—> Tia’s character is so relatable, innocent and likeable that we are immediately drawn to her and feel hatred towards the culprit even without knowing their identity.
—> Samar and Tia’s chemistry and the way their intimate scenes have been written and narrated.
—> The little rhymes that the captor plays to Tia, which give us a sense of foreboding.
—> The way it deals with the fact that childhood traumas can mar a person’s mental health for lifetime.
What I did not like about the story:
—> Tia’s character is sometimes annoying because of the way she blindly trusts everyone, despite them having done wrong with her.
—> I wish there was more to Simran’s and Kiara’s character.

—> The mind is like a deep sea, most people just swim on the surface. Some try to touch the depths and swim back to the surface, but there are some like me who can’t swim back, who struggle and collapse in those depths.
—> I can’t name that feeling, but I can compare it to a little seed that just pushed out from the dark shell of the earth and sees the sunlight for the first time. That first breath after a long suffocation, that is how I feel in this moment.

🏷Alka Saklani's Beyond Lies is one of the greatest mystery books I've ever read. Fictions are always enjoyable to read, and one that has a mystery is the icing on the cake. To be honest, I was blown away by the author's originality and the way she presented the entire narrative, which kept me engrossed the entire time and made it feel like a movie.
🏷Tia, Kiara, and Samar are the central characters in the tale. Tia is a 25-year-old woman who enjoys spending time with her family. Tia had a picture-perfect life with a loving family, a loyal friend, her ideal career, and a kind fiancé. Tia worked for Samar's company and realized her ambitions. They were both attracted to each other and subsequently were engaged. Everything was going swimmingly until that fateful day, when Tia goes missing.
🏷She was blind-folded and imprisoned in the darkness. She has no idea who the kidnapper is or where she is. A girl who was once so happy is now subjected to mental and physical torment. What is the cause behind her kidnapping? Who is to blame for all of this? Read this captivating story to find out the answers to these intriguing questions.
🏷The cover of the book is really fascinating, it grabbed my attention at first glance. The title is suitable as well and both compliments each other. Narration is quite engrossing and I didn’t face any issues while reading the book as the language is readers-friendly. I was glued to my seat till the end of the story, twists and turns in the story aroused a great level of curiosity within me to know what will happen next.
🏷Overall, it was an amazing thriller and worth a read. I am pretty much impressed by the plot. One can never assume that what a disaster can a past have on future and love & hatred towards a same person can result is something bitter. I would definitely recommend everyone out there to go and get your hands on this book.

To be honest, I was blown away by the author's originality and the way she presented the entire narrative, which kept me engrossed the entire time and made it feel like a movie.

🏷The cover of the book is really fascinating, it grabbed my attention at first glance. The title is suitable as well and both compliments each other. Narration is quite engrossing and I didn’t face any issues while reading the book as the language is readers-friendly. I was glued to my seat till the end of the story, twists and turns in the story aroused a great level of curiosity within me to know what will happen next.
🏷Overall, it was an amazing thriller and worth a read. I am pretty much impressed by the plot. One can never assume that what a disaster can a past have on future and love & hatred towards a same person can result is something bitter. I would definitely recommend everyone out there to go and get your hands on this book.

This is a poem which I took from the book I want to bring out that this is a amazing read which has a long lasting impact on the readers.
The book has 65 Chapters, divided into 2 Parts. It's such an incredible piece of work done by the author that while I was reading it kept me totally engrossed into the story. The best part is that it is physiological Thriller which has something new in each chapter. .
Now, there is Tia Bakshi, a 25 year old girl who was missing... Was the first part how the story started... In the second part it is exactly different from the first part.
There are three Characters in the story : Samar, Kiara, Dev, Tia.
Samar was Tia's boss in the story. In the novel the author has covered Juhu Beach, Dehradun where there was shown how Samar and Tia got connected and there developed a bond between them. The second part comes where Tia is in ICU to discover what happens I would love if you would read the book.
Things What I liked :
1) The language is simple and lucid
2) There are elements of mystery and suspense.
3) The book is having fast moving flow with the story.
4) One will enjoy the thriller elements from the starting till the end.
5) It will help to know you own self in a better manner as it is really realtable.

Isn't it too difficult to trust someone? Isn't it too difficult to trust your own life? Similar was the case with Tia Bakshi. Her life seemed so peaceful and complete, but in reality, it was not. Tia, who is a really cheerful, bubbly and innocent girl. She also has a family and fiance Samar. They were living a couple-goals kinda life. But everyone has their past and secrets. And then the past resurfaced affecting their lives when Tia was suddenly kidnapped and tortured. Although Tia could sense the kidnapper being familiar. Who could be the kidnapper? What happened in past that turned their lives upside down? Tia's anticipation about Samar rescuing her, was it ever fulfilled? The other characters in the book are Kiara and Simran.
The book Beyond Lies, is a psychological thriller mostly based on love triangles, jealousy, mystery and suspense. The narration is really good. The book has 65 chapters splitted in two parts and has a brilliant story line, right thing comes at the right time. Generally I love thriller which are full of mysteries, but this story apart from being a thriller it is scary too. From time to time it will run down shivers down your spine. The story engrossed me so much that I couldn't put it down without finishing it.
With the help of the story my mind raced through the plot and I started visualizing myself as a captive. The narration of the book had an immediate affect on me. The writing style has a strong grasp of the plot entertaining the readers till the end. Even the end is quite unexpected.

Tia is cheerful girl living her life in happiness and keep the mood light of everyone around her. She is the girl anyone would fall for, so is Samar. Samar is Tia's boss struggling with his dark past, he keep himself busy with work and office. But then stalker come into life of Tia, which make Samar uncomfortable too. He worry a lot about Tia, but because of summer cold behaviour toward her love, She kept him away from herself. But then Stalker kidnapped her and tortured her like anything. A soul full of life became a dead soul with human body. Will Tia survive this? Who's the stalker? Is Samar his stalker? But why would he stalk her when she knows that he loves her? To know answer of all these question you have to read the book.
Hatts off to Alka Dimri Saklani for writing this Beyond lies. I haven't read such fast faced and fluid thriller in a while. Anyone reading it will feel to keep turning pages on and on. I have completed this book in a day as Tia innocence and Samar past kept me hooked. Maybe you would guess the stalker when first that name come onto page, but most probably your guess will be wrong. I completed this book two days back and I've been recommending this to everyone since then. One of the best Psychological thrillers I've read. This book will absolutely blow the reader's mind with its suspenses and unexpected twists. The language is simple and the writing style is mind blowing,a really fast paced book. I'm very sure that you won't get bored or even you can't stop reading once you pick this book. Right from the first page I was hooked on to it and it's a one sit read for me. Every character is beautifully portrayed and justified,so do their emotions.

Chilling thriller
The second part of the story made me hooked to it. It's full of twists and the end is really unexpected. The cover page of the book is so beautiful that the scenery of it and the elegant bridge over the river really make one feel serene but there is some paradox related to it. And the intriguing thing is that the story starts off with a murder case. What is it? What puzzle lies beyond this bridge over the river? Who committed that murder? Besides a 24-year woman named Tia is captivated, kept in a dark room blindfolded for 20 days... Is there any relation between the two cases? Is there anyone in particular behind the two?
These intriguing questions within yourself while reading never makes you put it down until you sort it out. Tia, Samar, Simran the three characters of the plot drives the story and firmly believe me the end is stunning.
The narrative style of the author is comprehensive which formulated it as an engaging psychological thriller that explored the dark shades of a human dying for being loved.

This is my first book by author and Woah what a thriller I just loved it and finished it in one go.
Its a psychological thriller with a cute love story.
Story is nothing new but woven around so amazingly with limited characters and each character define so well and perfect narration makes it an easy and enthralling read.Twist and turns keep me hooked till the end.i also like her writing style which is very unique and story is presented in such a manner that each character tells his or her part of Story.
Story starts with a kidnapping of Tia and his kidnapper cum stalker is behind all this but nobody knows nothing about it.
Tia is a fun loving,talkative girl and believes on anyone blindly which later she has to wear consequences of her behavior.
Samar his love and boss also has some mysterious past too. So you have to read by your own to know more about it.
Overall a thrilling and entertaining read

'Beyond Lies' by Alka Dimri is her best piece work till now. The story is about Tia Bakshi who was kidnapped and she had no idea what was going on. The narration is the best part of this book as it was so gripping and crisp. I loved this book. The climax just shocked me and my guess was wrong. And I love when I am wrong in a thriller. It is definitely a psychological thriller no doubt. I loved how the characters were written and developed. Everyone was given equal weightage. The cover of the book is very nicely designed. I loved the storyline and how the author presented this story. Dangerous past actions that can torment your future. Some parts were very well written and nothing was exaggerated. Simple language is used in this novel. The writing style is good too. One of the best thrillers I read by an Indian writer. I want to read more of the author's work in the future. I recommend this book to everyone.

One by one it reveals the secrets and unexpected incidents like sudden kidnapping of one of the characters and how all things run around it, tooks place.
It's really given the goosebumps in the end cause I had thought something else and it ended up totally something else so this was totally adventurous for me.
About the story:
It was so good but the author created the scenarios and descriptions of everything that was mind-blowing.
About language: language was hard, not soft.
The cover is mysterious while the title is given hints and the combination of both of them can attract anybody so easily.
Recommendation: Mystery and thrill lovers don't miss this book.
This book is a good read of my 2020.

Tia is a cheerful and carefree woman with full of child like innocence. But a danger is lurking around the corner. Readying itself to strike at the right time and snatch away all the lively traits from her nature.
The story goes on the expected line. There were many suspects and my eyes were set on one. But the author was one step ahead from me. This psychological thriller has a twist which you will never see coming. I was taken aback and kind of fooled by the author. It was an interesting twist and I didn't mind getting fooled.
The narrative moves back and forth and the story was told from various view point. The past was pleasant to read. But the present will be make you cringe at the anticipation of what was about to happen. However, I must say that I was more eager to read what was happening in the present. As that part of the story was more captivating.
