Irresistible is the first book in the Cloverleigh Farm series by one of my faves, Melanie Harlow. If you read Only Love then you might remember Ryan’s best friend and boss, Mack McAllister. The newly single dad and ex-marine. Well, this is his story and it’s a hot one.
Mack is a single dad to three girls and the CFO of Cloverleigh Farms. Frannie is the boss’s daughter and Mack’s part-time nanny, and lover of baking treats. He wants something for himself. She wanted to take a risk.
Frannie has a hopeless crush on Mack. He has never once looked at her like anything else but a kid. A kid who could babysit for his adorable daughters. Then something changed. She felt it. That look. The one that made her feel beautiful, sexy, and desired. And then it happened. He kissed her. Except it was more than a kiss. It was everything but what was it to him?

Aww! I loved this one! The writing is fantastic. The characters are lovable and real. Mack’s foul mouth made me fall even harder. I have that foul mouth. I understand it. He is such an amazing dad even where thinks he fucking up. And Frannie. She is one of a kind. I want to bake with her. I was rallying for her to take a risk. Big ones. I can’t forget about the girls. Omg!!! They are adorable, funny, sweet, and know how to push each other’s buttons. Sisters. They know how to do it. Perfectly.
Overall...it’s an amazing start to a new series! It was fun, sexy, sweet, and damn hot. I can’t wait to find out who is starring in the next book!

With his life. These two were always in competition so when he bet her that she wouldn’t jump off the roof, she took did it. She was no chicken even though she broke her leg. She would never forget that day. It was the one where she knew she could never fully trust him. And twenty years and many chances later he was back and wanted another chance. This time with business.
Oliver needed her. Chloe needed him. He had to prove to her that he can be trusted. She needed to try to let the past go and give him a chance so her dream can come true. A distillery on Cloverleigh Farm. And he just happened to own a successful one already and had the money to back her. But can she trust him? He had one week to get on her good graces once again. Aw! I loved this one. It had everything. Second chance. Friends to lovers. Enemies to lovers. Suspense. I loved the characters separately and together. They had passion. In their careers and in their hate/love for each other. The banter between them is full of humor, heat, beauty, and sass. I can’t wait to see what is up next for this family!

They are tied together through the Sawyer sisters. Meg lives in DC so I didn’t know much about her until now. It was her turn to find love...

Not even weekly, sometimes it was monthly or when one needed the other. It was the kind of friendship that was always there. One week. That’s all the time they had. She was busy with her family but she wanted to spend time with him. And he wanted to spend time with her. As friends. Except something felt different from the moment they saw each other. They always thought the other was attractive but this was different. A need. A pull. Noah had to fight it. He didn’t want to hurt her. Didn’t want to ruin what they have. He didn’t want a girlfriend. He never wanted to get married or have children and she deserved a man who did. I loved Noah and Meg! They are a lot of fun with a twist of serious issues. I felt their warmth from the beginning. They made me laugh, swoon, and cry! Their inner dialogue? Oh my god...so good. The dirty birds these two. I just loved it all and can’t wait for the next sister to fall.

Unbreakable is the fourth book in the Cloverleigh Farms series by one of my favorite authors, Melanie Harlow. You can read each book as standalone but I highly recommend reading the series since they are all so deliciously sexy, emotional, and fun. I was so excited that Sylvia and Henry we’re getting a story together after what happened in the end of Insatiable.
After fifteen years of marriage and two children, Sylvia was divorced and going back to her hometown to start fresh. She thought she had everything she ever wanted but deep down she knew the last few years of her marriage was all pretend. Especially after finding out about her husband’s cheating ways. And one of those ways resulted in a pregnancy. She was done and her children supported her in going to Cloverleigh Farms. They all needed a fresh beginning. What she didn’t expect was Henry DeSantis. A man who made her feel beautiful, alive, and just plain good.
Henry wasn’t part of the plan but he was there. He knew what she was going through for the most part. He was newly divorced after his wife left after ten years. They both knew they weren’t ready for a relationship. They also weren’t ready for the chemistry that would bring them to their knees any time they were in the same room. Awe! I love these two!! Their connection is beautiful and sexy AF. That’s not all there is to them though. There is so much more. And it’s not just about them. It’s about the children as well and they are not just in the background. Sylvia is such an amazing mom, sister, and daughter. And Henry...he is so sweet, patient, and yummy!
Overall...it’s one kickass ride of beauty, passion, laughter, and wine. It’s also full of family, friendships, and love.

All five books had a good balance of humor, heartwarming love, real life issues, deep emotions, painful pasts, and spice. To get to their HEA, all the couples went through an emotional and sometimes painful journey of baggage unpacking, missteps, and life realignment. The books were well written and included three dimensional characters who grow and an engaging storylines.
Irresistible
I enjoyed this single dad, age gap, double pining, forbidden romance. Frankie and Mack are portrayed as real, relatable people who have flaws, but are really just trying to do their best as messy beings. Mack is a 37 yo divorced single father and the CFO of Cloverleigh Farms. He has theee young daughters. He feels overwhelmed with his life. Fannie is the 27 yo youngest daughter of the owners of Cloverleigh Farms. She works as the receptionist and social media person, bakes macarons for the weddings, and is a p/t nanny for Mack’s daughters. She has been sheltered by her parents. They are both attracted to each other but ignoring it until fate, a blizzard and a dead battery alters the status quo. Mack’s daughters were wonderful and integral additions to the story rather than flimsy story props. The story would not have been as rich and well rounded without the inclusion of their characters since they drove some of the plot and character growth.
Undeniable
This childhood friends to lovers storyline had a lot of promise especially with the literary device of unspooling the MCs past interspersed with their present. However, I was not a fan of either of the characters in this book. Oliver, a 32 year old trust fund man who owns a distillery was manipulative and dishonest throughout his 30+ year relationship with Chloe. And Chloe, a 32 year old marketing manager who wants to open a distillery, just kept getting sucked into his lies and manipulation repeatedly during the 30+ years rather than standing up for herself and deciding enough is enough. I just could not connect to either character and did not feel their relationship made sense. It did not appear after the break up scene and instant reconciliation that either of them had really dealt with their baggage. This was my least favorite book.

Sylvia grew up in Cloverleigh Farms and moves home with her two children after divorcing her cheating husband. She is struggling with her identity and choices. There is intense chemistry and attraction between Henry and Sylvia but neither one feels ready for a relationship but friendship and discussion of wine seems doable. But oh the feelings, so many feelings.

I loved this second chance healing romance. April works as the event planner at Cloverleigh Farms, her family’s hotel, winery, distillery and event business. She is dealing with painful parts of her past and wants a husband and kids. Tyler was a Major League Baseball pitcher until his arm stopped working. Now he struggles with anger and what he’s supposed to do with his life. April and Tyler knew each other in HS as friends and April babysat Tyler’s younger sister, Sadie. They also shared one steamy night which resulted in an unplanned pregnancy and the baby was put up for adoption. They reconnect and sparks fly when Tyler returns for Sadie’s wedding which April is planning.

I cannot wait to see what happens next on Cloverleigh Farms.

With their mother's being best friends they had no choice to grow up together. But now they are grown up, adults that need to work together for a common goal? Can these frenemies find love in the end? Is it a chance they are willing to take? These characters were awesome. The back and forth, and give and take made them so human. A perfect love affair and a great storyline. Once again Melanie Harlow does not disappoint.

Although her family is supportive, she finds a connection with Henry as his marriage ended as well. But through friendship comes a little spark of something. Can the two broken souls find solace as well as romance while helping each other pick up the pieces? Or will the spark diminish as the timing is just not right? I fell in love with the Cloverleigh characters from the very first book in the series and with each new one the series gets better and better. The honest true emotions that Melanie brings to life in her storylines makes the reader want to re-read the series again and again. Truly a heartwarming and inspirational book.

This series is in small town northern Michigan, outside Traverse City.
Cloverleigh Farms is the setting for this series, Cloverleigh Farms is a family run inn/ resort/ tourism farm run by the Sawyer family.
John and Daphne Sawyer ( minor supporting characters) have 5 daughters• Sylvia• April, Chloe, Meg, Frannie
April, Chloe and Frannie all work at the inn, the latter two in event planning , the former in guest services.
The series starts with the youngest daughter and ends with the oldest.
What I like:
•Well developed, likable with just the right amount of flaws in the majority of the main and supporting characters.
•The series provides an opportunity for the reader to “escape” to this fictional town/ setting although some plotlines take the characters reader out of the setting.
• near perfect blend of serious dialogue/ character interactions
• Some type of happy ending guaranteed by author. I struggle with depression and this genre is my go-to for pick me ups. But there are enough twists that keep the books from being overly formulaic
• well written, steamy, sex positive, female- satisfied love scenes ( NSFW audio books)
Female characters are given career / entrepreneurial storylines that strike an appealing balance between traditional alpha male tropes and the female characters not “ needing” savings.
There is a second series, Cloverleigh Farms Next generation.
Criticism
Too much suspension of disbelief of simultaneous orgasms - come on ( no pun intended) it’s okay if they don’t have them at the same time. This is a minor criticism, it’s a five star series in my book.
The exes of most of the characters are portrayed in a simplistic way - they are almost TOO bad. I realize that this may be a literal device makes the second chance at love even more appealing. But I find the idea of a mother largely abandoning her children ( Frannie & Mac, Mac’s ex ) so negative that it was distracting. I would like to see more nuance ( you see this with Naomi, Dex’s ex in Ignite in the second generation series.
It is a reality that not all women can/want to be custodial / primary parents, but they can be portrayed with more nuance rather than as a total villain.

I love this family and Cloverleigh Farms. I loved the new bonus material!
I love the Cloverleigh Farms series. It was the first big family, small town series I fell in love with. I have read each book multiple times, and pop in here and there to reread scenes I particularly enjoy. I was so excited when Melanie Harlow announced she would be doing a next generation series. More of the Sawyer sisters and the wonderful world she created sounds amazing. This series collection was such a fun way to kick that off. The Alternate POV Chapters, recipes, and bonus prologue and Epilouges were amazing. Melanie’s stories stick with you, and reading the bonus material immediately pulled me back into the emotions of each couple and story. I feel so lucky to get a little more of each of them.
For those returning, this collection is a great way to get a bit more out of a series you love. If you are new to the series, it’s a great way to experience it all! The Bonus Series Chapter was such a great summary of where all the families stand, and told in such a fun way with another overlapping character. This was such a fun read! I love this family and Cloverleigh Farms.

If you're looking for an absolutely amazing small-town family series of contemporary romances, look no further. From the very first to the last, each of these sisters has an amazing romance that will leave you happy and clamoring for more. Melanie Harlow is a genius in this genre. She always satisfies, and no two stories, no two couples are alike.
Cloverleigh Farms is by far one of my favorite series of interconnected standalones. You have age-gap, single dad, rivals-to-lovers, second chance, sports romance, recovering from divorce - there is a little bit of everything in this series. And everything is done WELL. The writing is top-notch, the banter is amazing, and the emotions run high, but not so high that you're dying from the angst and heartbreak. It's a perfect balance.

I enjoyed this book on both kindle and audible. I love the series (except I believe the third book). I loved reading how the sisters found their true loves through the pages of this book. The couples and people from previous books were there also and in the pages as the story goes on, you get glimpses of the other couples and how they continue to be happy as their families expand. Wholesome but does have some sex scenes mixed into the story. I finished the book feeling good thoughts about the family and am so happy there is another generation that now involves the children. I’m already downloading it and excited to explore this family more.

I devoured them
This author knows how to write. The dialogues, the attention to detail, the best and emotionally gorgeous outcomes of the plots. The men in these books need to grow a little and they always come through. The women, my god the women are amazing. The last one got to me a little with April, I just was moved by what she carried for so long, it is a lot, I was very uncomfortable with this story - I guess that's the sign of a good story teller. I love all the HEA. If I were to say which is my fav, it would be the first book with the hot Dad of three, Mack. Otherwise these stories are just so lovely and fulfilling, I laughed and sobbed my heart out. Enjoy.

This series is a top favorite of mine and this box set made me remember why I fell in love all over again! These characters are more then fictional people, Melanie writes them as if they are family. Sister goals and sexy AF men, lots of laughs and tears. I am even more excited for the next gen!
This series is a top favorite of mine and this box set made me remember why I fell in love all over again! These characters are more then fictional people, Melanie writes them as if they are family. Sister goals and sexy AF men, lots of laughs and tears. I am even more excited for the next gen!

I absolutely LOVED the Cloverleigh Farms series! The bonus content Melanie Harlow added to this special box set for every story and couple was pure perfection, and I truly couldn’t have loved it more. I wholeheartedly love all of these characters and am so freaking excited for the Next Generation series to come!

Amazing collection of Cloverleigh Farms
I enjoyed reading the one different POV that was available for each book. Plus, reading an extended epilogue or prologue was a nice bonus. The prelude to the next generation of Cloverleigh Farms made me excited for the next series to begin! If you are. Fan of this series you will enjoy the extras.

Heartfelt series with a little heat to it
I absolutely adored this series. Couldn’t put the books down. Family, love, romance, heartbreak, steamy scenes. It was definitely a combination of everything I love in a romance noble. I highly recommend it.

I loved ALL of these books! Seriously, I love them so much. After I’m done with Floored I think I’m gonna reread them - even though I haven’t read the Bellamy Creek series yet and they’re begging for me to read them already

As a fellow Michigander this book hits different. I cannot count how many times I have read this series! Just so good. This series gives you the warmth of a cozy blanket next to a wood stove during a winter or stormy day.
