Jackie, a seventeen year old cheetah shapeshifter and Garrett, her vampire lifemate travel to his maker's old villa where he tries to face down the demons of his past. With the help of an unexpected and unwelcome guest and a lovely surprise, Jackie is able to help Garrett find the peace he longs for. But as soon as they're back at home, the usual craziness kicks in. The Rogues, Inc. team is called into action to help solve two local murders, plus Jackie's forced to confront her most hated enemy as he's judged before the Elders of Faerie. Finally, A wantonly violent act threatens to tear apart her family, leaving her once again determined to protect the people that she loves with her magic and her strength.

Again this series is phenominal! This book made me cry a lot. It was very moving in many ways! Jackie is faced with many decisions she has to solve in hopes of a better future.
I knew it about Bridgett I mean. I knew she was untrustworthy! Even if William had not died she would have sided with her grandmother and the demons. I also believe that Bridgett is not as strong as Jackie is,(physically and mentally and her powers) yes she did not have that much training but mentally she is weak. She never held a true fondness for the Fae after they killed her father (werewolf) and kept complaining. I did think that she held some affection for Lady D and when she saw Jackie she told her she was okay and they the Fae gave her so much in return... I do believe that Will's dead was the push she needed to completely side with her grandmother but I believe a part of her already made up her mind. I don't really know if it works this way but I think that Bridgett's demon side of blood is stronger in her then her cheetah . And with Jackie I think that her Healer's side and cheetah's side override her Demon side.. Yes she experiences the anger aspects of it but she is able to pull herself back with and without the help of her loved ones.
We have met Marie in this book but I wonder where the parents are? They died there to and I can't help but think where are there shades? should they not be there also? I hope we do get to see them maybe in a later book. Also I can't wait to see what happens now with the whole Kennet fiasco and how it will play out, and I also cannot believe that Charlie will choose him later on will he I mean! come on! that would just be soooooo ugh.. Can't wait to see Jackie as a mom and try to protect and raise her little cub! and the mischief he will get into with the band of rogues who are family!
ps: Also some good news from Sinc.. when I read that she was leaving the team I felt really sad and now will she come back?
This book got really crazy especially closer to the end. I liked Isaiah and her demon training. This series is an interesting read and then will probably get deleted from my Kindle. I had a bit of trouble with Jackie being so stupid and ignoring everyone's advice to go to her rapist's trial in faerie on the day that it was prophesied she'd give birth. Not surprising that all hell broke lose. I was also still having trouble with Jackie being pregnant by her rapist/torturer, but now
I highly recommend this book, this series! It is well written and complex. The storyline flows so nicely the action is fast paced. I love the expanded character base. The characters have matured so much over the course of the series. It been a joy to take this journey in this world that this author has created. Love the audio option.
I don't know where to start? I cannot believe that you didn't write that his biological father was not executed. This book could have been a whole lot better, if this had happened. There was a lot of misspelled words and errors in this book, than the others.
