Book 1: Murder Over Easy Book 2: Muffin But Murder Book 3: Chicken Murder Soup Book 4: Murderoni and Cheese Book 5: Lemon Murder Pie
When Sunny arrives in Parfait, Florida, she's set on sun, sand, and rejuvenation after a messy divorce. She’s done dealing with her flaky ex, and the criminals he worked with. But when Sunny arrives at her quirky Aunt Rita’s cottage, all she finds is a grumpy cat and a note waiting for her...
Sunny’s expected to take over her aunt’s Sunny Side Up Café while Rita’s on vacation, and Sunny’s never managed a mood swing let alone a restaurant.
Before she knows it, she’s up to her neck in trouble, fielding complaints from a snobby food vlogger, serving cold chicken noodle soup, handling the eccentricities of the local baker’s club and… dealing with murder cases?
The mysteries are mounting, and they all revolve around her according to the local detective.
With so much to lose, her aunt's café included, Sunny has to figure out whodunit before it's too late.

I read them as they were released individually. Nice to have them all in a box set. Wish there were more books coming in this series. I really enjoyed them.
Book#1 - Murder Over Easy: Great start to a new series. Book one in a new series. Well written with great characters and setting. Loved getting to know Sunny. I can't wait to read more.
Book#2 - Muffin But Murder: Really enjoying this series. Both books were great. I look forward to meeting Aunt Rita in a future book.
Book#3 - Chicken Murder Soup: Loved it! Another great book in this series. A break in, sabotage, murder and a chipped tooth. Sunny side has her hands full in this one. Now that Aunt Rita is back, I can't wait to see what happens.
Book#4 - Murderoni & Cheese: It was great to get to know Aunt Rita. I can’t wait to see what adventures & mischief Sunny and her friends get into in the next book.
Book#5 - Lemon Murder Pie:More than 5************** Really enjoyed this last book in the series (although I hope the author changes her mind). Lots of action in this one with a murderer that I did not expect. Very well written book, fantastic characters.
I usually write reviews on books I love but this one was so unappealing I felt I needed to say something. This murder mystery is the victim of poor writing and even worse editing. Some things you just can’t miss like Sunny finding her grandmothers old VW. She drove it to the courthouse and when she left, she drove her aunts VW home. Okay, grandma could have given the car to her aunt so technically she may have been right but this was not made clear. However, I just couldn’t overlook her description of “a handsome Latina man” when referring to the new detective in town. Is this a mistake or is he transgender? The writing is so immature I gave it up after reading only 12% of the book. I love a good mystery and The Cozy mysteries series sounded just the thing to read over the upcoming fall evenings. I am disappointed that a book of this caliber was even offered. Rose A. Point needs to decide what age/demographic she is writing for then work on her presentation.

The array of bold, colorful and quirky characters will have you laughing and turning page after page with each individual plot incorporated through secrets, lies, betrayal , plenty of mean gossip shared over coffee with a plait of eggs sunny side up,mayhem ,intrigue and murder. I missed out on checking my daily emails, proper meals, only snacking for almost two days because I needed to know what was coming next for the heroine Sunny with what is a fresh start in her new small home town full of so much gossip and intrigue Aquire " The Sunny Side Up Cozy Mysteries series Box Set ( Books 1-5 ) today for hours of intriguing and enjoyable entertainment. Let me clarify right off that I did not dislike these books. They’re easy to read and don’t require much thought. Editing was good. There were many opportunities to smile about something. The dry cookies comments were overdone, as were the constant reminders that Sunny couldn’t cook. Each story follows the same pattern—someone is murdered, Sunny figures out all the possible killers and pretty much accuses each of them after jumping to conclusions so well it would impress a high jumper. The detective brushes off any evidence, etc. Sunny solves the mystery and the police arrive in the nick of time. Sunny Iives to solve another mystery. These are pleasant light reading but nothing to rave about.
I got the series on audio and really have mixed feelings. Some of the books were good, others dragged. The narrator is okay, but there were a few cases of words being mispronounced. This can and did change the meaning of at least one of the words. The other thing that got annoying was there was a longer than normal pause between some of the chapters. Granted, some of these would not be issues if you are reading it. I found myself skipping ahead at 15 second intervals in different places. I am pretty sure, I would have skimmed or skipped paragraphs or pages with it in book form. All in all, not a series I would highly recommend.
So I thought the first book was ok, by the third I was definitely fast forwarding towards the ending, the fourth and fifth books I got the gist of the crime, skipped pages to just look in on the story and see what was happening, then went towards the ending to read who dunnit. Because it was all to similar for me, same grumpy cop, same people with new ones thrown in for the storyline of course, same settings, just all too much the same for me. Clean though, but….
I loved the different characters and how they interacted in the small town of Parfait. I couldn't put the book down and I was trying to figure out who do it. Sunny and Rita antics were funny and how Detective Garcia was the "good" but testy detective. It reminds me of an old cop show "just the facts ma'am" Looking forward to new adventures that Rosie writes!
This set of 5 books is lots of fun. It has a good family connection in addition to the new friends. Sunny is a spunky gal like her aunt,Rita . Lots of different community activities too. This is a series that I think you will feel right at home. Happy Reading !!!
I loved this series. The characters were realistic and the plots flowed smoothly. Always a surprised ending. I look forward to reading about Rita, Sunny and the gang if the series continues. I began the series by listening to the first couple of books on Chirp.
Interesting box series as Sunny settles in Parfait after a messy divorce and debt her ex left her. Her Aunt Rita leaves her in charge of the Sunny Side Up Cafe as she goes on vacation with her friends. The set moves through a series of mysteries which Sunny helps to solve. Good reading and tie in book to book
Really enjoying Rosie's cozy mysteries! Will read more of her stories. This was another mystery were the main character trys to solve the mysteries on her own and usually does better then the cops in town!
The writing was bad. It sounded like a child not a 38 year old woman. The timelines were way off - Sunny talks about the last few months in parfait but her aunt was only on vacation for 4 weeks. The characters lacked character. All in all, not good reading.
Fabulous series full of witty banter, fascinating people, interesting dilemmas, murder most foul and a super sleuther thrown right in at the deep end. Light easy but gripping reading from start to finish, not too dark or intense but something a reader can just relax and enjoy. Delightful.
An enjoyable, eggs over easy, collection of murder mysteries, mixed with new beginnings and some romance, set in Parfait, Florida. Start with Murdersippi Mud Pie, the prequel, for the full experience.
This writing style POV is that of a teenager not of an adult woman. The text is easy to read but pretty dry, focusing on the conversation and missing descriptions. The dialogues are weird, and not enjoyable when the protagonist talks and acts like a teenager.

[As the epub] Sunny goes to stay with her Aunt Rita and help with her cafe. Aunt Rita is in and out of the stories. Lots of murders happen around the cafe and family.
This was a completely enjoyable set of books to read. Each one was a full story in it's own, a complete mystery finished thanks to Sunny. I enjoyed the characters and their actions, regardless of how silly or snobbish they were. I will be looking for more from this author!
