If you're up for a dark mafia romance, this book is just for you. Honestly the smut in this book was wooohhh and we all live for some spice 🥴.
I loved Maya alot too. She was so funny and fierce that I don't blame Alessio for falling for her 🤌 I loved how he just saw her stealing from people and was like 'THIS! I want this one' 😭😭 man was whipped at first sight.
Honestly I read this in one sitting. Once you get into it, the pace gets picked up and you just couldn't put it down 🤌 This isn't the only book I'll be reading from the author though, Her other book "Mr. Anderson" has a teacher x student trope and I can't wait to jump on it and read it 😭
This book just hit right in the place with all the mafia romance and funny characters. Also a huge thank you to the author for sending me the last 3 chapters when my Kindle crashed 💗

This book has A LOT of grammatical errors!! But beyond that it was not my favorite. Of course I read it to the end thinking it would get better but it didn’t. The ending was horrible and this was my first mafia book.

Alessio and Maya were sweet. The book starts with back and forth storyline, which was a bit confusing. Not to forget the twist and turns keeping one on their toes.
It took everything on me not to cry in the second part and not to hate Mateo and Alessio but thank lord for HEA, even i would have died 🥲.
The book is fast moving and yet i would have loved to have more loving and emotional scenes between the characters. I think they lacked on it, but still i wished the book was longer and we got to read more of them. Together.

I’m 50/50 with this book. I felt at times the story was all over the place. It wasn’t hard to keep up with different character point of views; but the multiple introductions of what felt like new stories and new plots was a whirlwind. 3 stars because the ending gave me true mafia vibes which is what I was longing for throughout the entire book. Where as I did like the characters (shout out to Maya love a bad ass female lead) I wanted more for them. Spice rating is a 2.

There were several grammatical errors and the mail MC was just annoying and a bit of a posh are you are you felt very wet
She was fine, but she was nothing special, and if anything she annoyed me
Overall, I didn’t enjoy it. I wouldn’t read it again but it’s not the worst. I breezed past a lot of it because I couldn’t get into it so maybe I don’t see what everyone else likes about it but I think that says something

It was okay. It wasn’t a masterpiece by any means, but I thorough enjoyed reading it. Wasn’t really an enemies to lovers because they instantly fell for each-other and expressed those thoughts. Pretty simple slightly dark, spicy romance novel.

The smut in this on point. The plot is heavily lacking with an explosive, almost overacting male character. There was so much more room that could have been utilized for character development.
