This latest audiobook of the series gives us two characters that are perfect in their imperfections.
Tiffany Grant, part owner of the Indigo Inn, is back home needed a “re-set” in her life. TIffany left Blueberry Beach, never expecting to be returning penniless and full of regrets.
Kane Burton, the local pastor, has a past he’s kept to himself. When Tiffany goes to the church to volunteer in any and every project available, Kane fears that she will bring back all he’s left behind.
As a sort of friendship develops between them, we come to realize that they both have been seeking forgiveness and redemption.
This is a story about second chances and overcoming one’s past. A reminder that God always leaves the door open for forgiveness, and that hope , and second chances in life and love are reachable.
Not surprising, this was another thought provoking story in the series.
As always, the narrator, Mr. Dyess, did a very good job with the voices.
