paperback in good condition. some wear to cover. this innovative new history examines the social, economic, cultural and political development of this extraordinary province that once was on the "edge of the world" but now sees itself at the centre.
Well if you're in a university course studying BC history it's a good resource, as long as you make lots of notes as you go. It's a series of essays on different topics in the history of the province, much of it to do with economics of various industries along with boring tables. And there's not much date continuity.
But unless you have a real good reason to read it, I would recommend avoiding it - it's drier than a woodpecker's fart.
