When the Headmistress mandates therapy and group support sessions for those heavily impacted by the war, most roll their yes - but for the first time in a long time, Hermione Granger feels a flicker of hopeful healing. But as group session attendance dwindles, leaving two broken hearts with only wards between them - Hermione finds a kindred soul through bleak confessions and a companion for her demons she’d always thought she’d face alone. If only she knew who they were. A Hogwarts 8th-year inspired story.
i loved the grieving and the mental health aspects of this story. the author didn't just brush the war and their traumas under the rug. so, in that topic, i give it a 10/10. it was real. it was raw. however, in the end, if feels like this book is unfinished. the author mentioned taking a break and it was obvious that she/he did. there are some consequences we never got to see. like hermione's relationship with her mother after her father's death. narcissa's fate after draco confronted her about her addiction and her prejudices towards hermione. hermione and all the weasley's relationship, like molly. we just got to see hermione and draco getting together, not much more.
