The boy with the lion stuffy is mine whether he likes it or not.

I'm not a relationship man.
Every attempt to woo boys in my past has gone down in flames.
Looks like Russian killers in the Bratva just aren't meant to fall in love.
That's when I see the blushing angel on the street.
His name is Lucas, and he's a twenty-year-old aspiring drag queen visiting my cousin's fiancé in downtown Manhattan for the next month.
Lucas is my dream boy come to life, and I nearly crash my limousine when I see the tiny stuffed lion under his arm.
Everything in my past tells me to run from this angel as fast as I can.
But when I see Lucas playing with his stuffies in Central Park... I know I must become this boy's Daddy.

Bratva Daddy is a thrill-ride-of-a-story, SWEET-MERCY-GIVE-ME-ALL-THE-FEELS full-length Daddy/boy Mafia MM romance with a growly Bratva Don, a sweet and sassy little who likes lion stuffies, and a super-swoony guaranteed HEA that will give you ALL the warm fuzzies!!

Oh my god, this might possibly be the worst book I have tried to read in ages.
I honestly felt myself physically cringe at this.

The characters are completely over-the-top, ridiculous and unlikable. I despised it every time they did anything. They were so annoying.

The romance is insta-love to the highest degree and it was simply awful. Demetri was psychopathic and delusional, while Lucas was 100% unbearable. Yet somehow it was love at first sight for the two. Right.

“I need to pretend that I have a sensitive side so that Lucas will fall for me. Then I can show him the beast within.”

The dialogue is also something that could genuinely make me weep because it was just so bad and awkward. The writing was TERRIBLE.
I swear, if I read the word “sassy” or “bitch” one more time, I’m going to scream.

Between a Daddy/Little kink, a drag-queen workshop, and a Russian killer family, I didn’t even know what I was supposed to be thinking anymore.
All of it was terribly executed and gave me a headache.

Oh sweetheart.
I am most definitely a drug lord, a criminal, and a cold-blooded stalker, in no particular order.
And tonight, my prey is you.
But you’re not going to know that.
Yet.

God, what a mess.

DNF. Stopped at 44%. This book has stellar reviews so it is obviously ME and not the book. I didn't care for the heroes that much. They are both too over the top for me. I am clearly in the minority with this opinion, so if you are interested, check it out.

I'm really enjoying this series of mafia daddy/little kink and how Aster Rae keeps the reader engaged and how Demetri takes a step back, listens to his brother Alexsei, and gets to know Lucas rather than kidnapping and keeping him all to himself. Also reading how Lucas eventually opens up to Demetri about his past and drops his sassiness mannerism when he fully trusts him.

Soo.. This is probably the first book I've actually "Read" in a long time. "I'm more of an audiobook girl". However I kept seeing the Daddy series from Aster Rae on my various social media sites so I decided to take a peak...

That peak turned into a all night reading binge! Omg who knew the whole Russian Bratva Daddy Kink was so Hot!!!! 🔥🔥🔥❤❤.

I'm new reading on DDL Kink but it was cute in this book and the author definitely peaked my interest for me to find more M/M books with that type of content.

There was this one paragraph tho that I was like... Was I allowed to read that?? ☺ And believe me I am a whole fujoshi fangirl when it comes to the M/M genre but that one paragraph I blushed so hard I swear I thought people saw it on my face that I read (and kept thinking about) that paragraph the next day.

(I will let you all guess which paragraph) 🙂🔥

All in All loved the book ❤❤❤

Adorable and Sassy

Like all of Aster Rae’s books in the series, this one was just as fluffy and sweet, as I’ve come to expect. I love all his sweet Littles and their growly, protective Russian Mafia Daddies.

I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about a book with Demetri as one of the MC’s. In earlier books, he’s been described as a “psychopath.” OMG Lucas and Demetri are my absolute favorites off all the books.

Lucas is super sassy and bratty, especially in the first couple of encounters with Demetri. And Demetri, God love him, he’s a clueless, growling, Dom, who is an absolute marshmallow on the inside. He wants what he wants, and he isn’t used to being told no. Or, having to woo his boys. But that’s exactly what Lucas tells him and makes him do.

One of the things I love about these books, is the fact that they are super over the top, teeth rotting sweetness. To see a big baddy melt for his boy is the absolute best. I adored Lucas when he was first introduced, and I was so happy he got his own story.

My only complaint is that I wish Lucas drag queen side had been explored more than it was. It was the reason he was in NYC, and it was only briefly touched upon, and talked about. I would have loved a scene of him doing a show, with Demetri glaring at anyone who didn’t laugh at his boys jokes. Lucas was so sassy, and Demetri so growly, and that would have been a hoot.

The steam factor seemed to be dialed down on this book, then earlier ones, which was a little bit of a disappointmet. I wanted more of Lucas and Demetri getting some hot, sexy time together.

This book made me laugh aloud at Demetri’s antics to win his boy over, and Lucas not taking any of Demetri’s nonsense. I loved it and can’t wait for the next story.

If you loved the other books you will love this one. With that being said you can read it as a standalone but it would be much more enjoyable if you know all the side characters. I think with this type of book you are either going to love it or hate it. Yes it's OTT, yes there is instalove, yes it is silly and a bit ridiculous at times but for me it was all those things in best way. I loved this book and all the books in this series. The characters are fabulous and they had amazing chemistry and I enjoyed the main plot with the evil step dad. There is almost no angst and lots of heat. I left off 1 star cause there is a ton of talk on one subject matter in the bedroom that I was thinking was way overused. I would have preferred a bit more variety in that area but that's just me. This is sweet, fluffy, light and fun and I absolutely would recommend it to anyone that can wrap their mind around tough Mafia guys loving animals and enjoying play time with their littles. The lego building and stuffies kind of play. It might be too unrealistic for some to see these guys act that way so like I said you will either love it or hate it.

Russian Bratva meets sassy drag queen Little

Aster Rae is literally the master of sugary sweet, low angst stories that feature unconventional boys and their bad boy Daddies. I love how the books overlap with each other, bringing in old friends while still focusing on a particular Daddy/boy couple. Lucas is an extremely snarky new-to-lifestyle Little, who also happens to be an up and coming drag queen. Dimitri is the Bratva of his Russian mafia family - the crazy one who loves to blow things up and might be a tad over enthusiastic on getting rid of "problems". That all changes when he meets Lucas and finds the sweet and Jimmy big he's been looking for. The subplot with Lucas's family was a great addition and, as usual per these books, the Jimmy times are heavily focused on consent. There's a fair amount of sappy dialogue, and if wasn't sure if I liked all of it or not, buy I'm definitely addicted to this series and am anxiously waiting for the next books. An easy feel-good read and I thoroughly enjoyed this.

I love the Russian Protector Series of Aster. Every book has a cute couple and you meet the couple of the previous books again.

In Bratva Daddy, the fourth book of the series we Merk Demetri and Lucas. Demetri, already seen for a few moments in the other books, is a bad guy with a weak heart for boys. He sees Lucas and crushes over him, he has to possess him, to protect him, he has to have him for his own. Lucas, the first time in New York for a work shop, has troubles to trust someone and shows mostly his bratty side.

Follow the two on their lovely, but sometimes rough way to their HEA.

I love Lucas already for the reason that he’s in love with lions, I love them as well and Demetri you have to love with his rough outside and the inside, making everything possible for fis beloved ones.

I‘m so curious for the next books, their are so much more mafia daddy’s and cute boys like Jordan and Macon to find their love together.

Lucas is travelling to New York City from his home in Montana to attend a special Drag Queen workshop as well as stay with his friend. When Demetri sees Lucas with his lion stuffy in hand he knows that he just has to possess him. I found some parts of this endearing because Demetri was devoted to Lucas, some bits completely OTT - Lucas's determination to not pick up a Daddy immediately in New York and some parts just plain creepy for example with Demetri behaving like a stalker and the way that Lucas was such an ungrateful brat. I do like the concentration on consent and asking permission before assuming or taking advantage (which is sadly lacking in many books like this.

I did enjoy this story and I did find it a fun read if you got past some of the cheesy lines and similar concepts to other books in this series. It was easy to read and understand. This is an MM book containing mature content containing a BDSM-like DDLB relationship.

Fell in love with Demetri, with his growly attitude and wanting him to 'take' Lucas and keep him in his penthouse. To try to win Lucas he has to tone down his hard attitude.
Lucas arrives in New York for a month to learn how to become a great drag queen. He is hoping he finds a daddy while he's there.
When Demetri sees Lucas in the park he goes over to see him with Cupid the pug.
Lucas is so sassy and quick that Demetri knows he has to have Lucas in his life , permanently.
Like all the books in this series it's sweet with a lot of daddy boy fun, but with a growly daddy and a boy that has an answer for everything its a great read . Couldn't put it down .

OHH my!! I loved Lucas!! So sassy and snarky and Demetri was so growly! Lucas deep down wanted a Daddy so badly to take care of him and Demetri proved he was the Daddy for him. Aster’s writing has grown sooo much, his improvement, care and commitment to the story and his characters are fantastic. Each of these stories get better and better! Overall this was a really fantastic story, really well written, highly recommend. I’m voluntarily reviewing from an advanced copy that I received. My reviews are solely based on my thoughts and opinions.

One thing about Aster's books....they are sweet, schmoopy, silly, and sexy! These Russian Daddies do whatever they have to in order to make their boys, THEIRS! Demetri is smitten from the moment he sees Lucas strolling down the street. In a sweetly stalkerish manner, he goes about making sure that Lucas is safe and aware that his perfect Daddy is right in front of him. I love how Lucas makes Demetri work for his affection. It's so cute seeing a Mafia killer bending over backwards to make his boy happy. These books are heavy on fluff and light on Mafia but are enjoyable to read.

Talk about insta-love, Demetri gets a look at Lucas and decides to make him his. As has been true with all the other Russian Mafia Daddies in this series we know that will happen no matter what stands in the way. Lucas is a delightful character but like all the young men in this series, he has a backbone and can stand up for himself to Demetri. Dark, possessive men who are marshmallows when it comes to their chosen partners are the hall ark of this series and it is always a treat to see the other couples we've read about in each new book.

Lion stuffies and Russian cleaners!

Lucas and Demetri are definitely an odd mix looking from the outside. A very professional and cold hearted Russian cleaner and an innocent Wisconsin drag queen.

Yet here they are making there way to what they both need. When disaster strikes they must both decide how to deal with the fallout.

I fell in love with Lucas in the last book so I am very happy to get his story. A wonderful series that just keeps getting better and better! I can't wait to see who's story is next!

Demetri and Lucas are the hottest couple in this series so far to me. They had me laughing, swooning. This book was Exceptionally written,  Aster Rae Wow! What can I say knows how to write a sex scene. Demetri and Lucas's book has a major twist that will leave you stunned, applauding. I can't say enough about the Brilliant writing. I just wish I could crawl into the book, bo friends with all of them.

Editing is only downfall here but don't let it stop you!

Had it not been for a few editing errors, I would have given this cute installment in this series a 5-star rating. I found so many funny things in this book that the author just slips by and if you don't think about what you're reading, you may not see it until later. The whole series is like that but this seemed to tickle me a bit more. Can't wait for the next book!

When I read an Aster Rae book, it always gives me joy. I love his brand of insta love, with lots of sweetness and humor. I have really enjoyed the Russian Protectors series, but Bratva shot right to the top of my favorite books in the series. Lucas and Demetri stole my heart, Lucas especially. There's sass, snark, little time, friendship scenes galore (love!), and steam. I really loved this one, and I always look forward to reading Aster Rae's books.

Cute "little" Story

This book has Lucas attending a drag queen workshop in NYC while visiting his bestie Karter. He meets Demetri, a Bratva Don, in the Russian Mafia, and their connection is born. Fast paced and totally over the top like each book in this series but that's the beauty of fiction. So 4 books down and one to go or perhaps we'll be lucky and get 6 books of littles and all their cuteness and stuffies and adventures. I highly recommend this series.

Sassy Meets Mafia

OMG!! I loved Lucas and Demetri! Mr. Sassy meeting his growly but loving Mafia Daddy was everything I didn't know I needed. This was the perfect amount of sassy, playfulness, Mafia and friendship! I loved that there are real life issues we all may deal with and Demetri is the perfect daddy to help overcome them!!! This was such perfection Aster Rae!!

Good concept - Daddy/boy kink, age gap, big bad Russian mob guy and sweet little kinky twink/aspiring drag queen. The execution - while clearly meant to be cute and funny, was so over-the-top with everything - cute-ness, stalking, violence, etc. I have a decent sense of humor, I swear, but none of it clicked with me.

Wow

Wow I think each book in the series gets crazier as it goes, but in the best way. Lucas is a sassy drag queen full of snark and sky-high stilettos. Demetri is slightly stalkerish and growly but turns into a puddle of goo for his boy. The plot pulled me in and before I knew it I was reading the epilogue.

Bratva Daddy is the fourth book in the Russian Protectors series by Aster Rae. This book is about Demetri and Lucas, if you read the first 3 books you've already met them. I liked their story. It was sweet, sexy, fun and very well written.

Lucas meets his Daddy

I enjoyed this story. I like how Demetrius fell in love with Lucas, and how their story developed. It appears to have a few sad moments, but a bit more of fun with Lucas and his friends.
I’m looking forward to reading the next book.

Thus series is so much fun! The littles are adorable and the daddies are hilarious. I loved Lucas, I read these out of order and saw him in a later book and had to get his story. He did not disappoint! Such a sweetie. These are a really fun read!

I have not read daddy books before and
If this is an example I will not read again. Perhaps it is me but I found the books so boring ,the same tale was repeated over and over again throughout the series. I love long series but long and boring no thanks

I love this series… I love how all these mafia men are mean and growl all the time. Then soft hearts for their boys. I enjoyed this book and at the beginning where Demetri was ready to kidnap his boy like a typical day lol. Can’t wait for next one

Lucas got Daddy Demetri

These two men were so funny. Lucas was a sassy drag queen boy from Wisconsin who wins the heart of Russian fixer who is growly Daddy. Demetri knew he had to work to win Lucas heart.
