Patrick Calvin is a 43-year-old virgin. He's never even got to second base with a woman in all that time. His therapist sends him to the office of Dr. Evelyn Strange, who specializes in paranormal psychology.
She decides to try exposure therapy by turning Patrick into a beautiful young woman. Now Patty has to spend the next twenty-four hours as a woman. Will he finally score? Or will his losing streak continue?
A man of 43, a virgin, has trouble talking to women. His therapist believes he can't help him any longer and sends him to a last resort type of person. That person uses exposure therapy. Be exposed to what you fear, grow used to it gradually. So, naturally, since he fears women the therapist gives him a pill which he swallows without asking what it is or does. He, painfully, is transformed into a gorgeous tiny woman. (I mean short, not someone doll sized). He is going to get over his fear of women by being an attractive woman!
My main problem with this story is the main character. He is unlikable, has a horrible personality, is super naive, prudish, is oddly very pushy and entitled, and leaps from one "instant love" to another. Or is that "instant solution"? I mean, someone kisses him, so obviously they are in love with him (or, no, more "it felt special for him, so obviously it is special for them, so we a couple now); he leaps at the chance to be with the next person mildly nice to him but...; and then he falls for a sterotype and assumes love because ....
Well written. Well defined characters. Good solid plot. Just didn't like the main character, his interactions with people around him, or how the story ends. And confused by some of the other people and how they act.
