Doesn't really say anything I don't already know already, but it's good to have more examples, references and evidences on how Theravada Buddhism have been a strong factor that supports the Thai monarchy. The part where the author talks about the U.S. as a secular state feels a little lacking, not addressing how it isn't a secular state utopia like the author seems to paint it to be. Had the author addressed the problem with religion in the U.S., it would have been a stronger chapter.
