5/5 I read this novel less than a year ago, I absolutely loved it and it's been on my mind for very long to reread it. I reread it and guess what? I was unable to guess 3 plot-twists in the novel LMAO I think that says something about how good Long Qi is as a writer.
The worlds were intriguing, the story as a whole wasn't complicated but what had a grip on me was Xiao He. He's a very lovable, kind and sweet soul. (Idiotic too which is a plus in my books). Very amusing. Would reread again.

When I first started reading this story, I wasn't very enthusiastic about it - the short stories don't have an original plot that the Mc overturns with face-slapping, which is the paradigm I love the most. But then I got sucked in by the angst.
I think many people find the dog blooded plot and misunderstandings annoying, but I loved it. There's even a bit of a reason for all the misunderstandings (it's a bit of a foreshadowing). These are all short stories, so the convoluted plots don't drag on unreasonably. The misunderstandings are delicious, especially if you have mild ntr kink (with no real cheating).
There's even a bit of a moral in the end - regarding not assuming someone else's life is easy just because it looks like it on paper, and how there's love for everyone, and to not give up just because life feels hard, because things can change for the better.
Overall, a really great story to waste time with, and I love how transparent the translator is about how long it took. Makes me want to try translating (don't be tricked, it's really really hard!)!

how ML train of think it's unusual. because ML mind it's twisted. soo to solve the case in every arc, MC must think out of the box. it is a great QT story? absolutely not. but it's quite interesting story. the agst tho.. fortunately it's HE. now i really need a fluffy and sweet story.

THe ML is very Yandere in the worlds, I love how instead of the MC treating it as a game he actually dealt with his feelings in a natural manner
