I'm going to be generous with 3 stars, because this started off well. Good intro and build up, but then half way through everything fell apart and suddenly it was like the characters had known and been dancing around each other for years, rather than just a day or two.
Not to mention just why... why were things happening like that, they wouldn't. Dirty cops decide to plant evidence on an ex con but when the litness runs, they decide you know what, lets just try and kill everyone, even the reporter whose spent months years writing about police corruption?
Honestly, good opening but by the end i was just skipping pages, hoping reality might catch up.
So yeah,well written but the plot just seemed so rushed it ruined it for me.

The book needed more sex since there was only one “fast and dirty” sex scene, but I enjoyed the book.
