"What sets Melissa Foster apart are her compelling characters who you care about... desperately...I dare you to read the first chapter and not be hooked." International bestseller, M.J. Rose
"Melissa Foster is a wonderful connector of readers and books, a friend of authors, and a tireless advocate for women. She is the real deal"--Author Jennie Shortridge
"You make it impossible to love anyone else." I love second-chance stories, and when second chance meets childhood best friends and all the background they share, it basically made it impossible for me not to love this book. Melissa Foster's heroes always love beyond measure, and Dare just made both my book boyfriend and my book husband list. Melissa put my heart through the grinder with this one, but it was worth every minute.
"And here I am, more than a decade later, and my stupid heart is still wrapped up in the same man." Dare Whiskey is perfect. Dirty-talking, teasing, pushy but encouraging, tough and protective but sweet and sexy when it counts. The guy who will do anything and everything to get his woman, and once he does, he doesn't let go. Whatever happens, he's there. Plus, the cowboy hat. Thank you, Melissa, I have a cowboy hat kink now! And I live in a country where guys don't wear them (so unfair!)
"She is the blood in my veins, the air that I breathe. She is the very heart of me." Billie is one tough chick. She has so much fire in her, she's so brave, but she's holding back. There are demons in her past and things she hasn't told anyone: she keeps it all to herself and handles it the best way she knows how. And someone needs to break through to her and help her reconnect with who she is. Help her live again.
"God, you're such a pain. Nobody else pushes me like this." "Because nobody else knows you like I do." Billie and Dare are childhood friends. They used to be three, the Daredevils, always challenging each other and doing stunts, but Eddie died, leaving them heartbroken. They were inseparable, they brought out the best of each other. When they lost Eddie, they each handled it in their own way, but their relationship suffered with it. Billie withdrew into her shell and kept everyone out, including Dare. The things he does for her were incredibly swoony. He knows she needs to let him in again. And he'll do whatever it takes because he misses her so much.
"When did you get so dirty?" And why do I have to like it so much? Dare is a therapist, and he's the only one who can get through to her. OK, he walks a fine line between what he knows Billie needs and what he needs. He needs her, he wants her, so he's all in. He pushes, but he does it the right way. When those walls around her come tumbling down, when we get to know who the Daredevils were and what they went through (no spoilers)... it was very emotional for me. The small moments, what they used to do together, how much they all loved each other... That Chapter 10, damn it!
"Even as a little kid, every time I saw her, I wanted her to be mine." When they finally come together, there are years of pent-up dreams and so much love and longing. So much to make up for, so much time lost. So many memories to build on, and create more. There could never be anyone else for these two, but they have to work out the things from the past in order to move forward. There's plenty of guilt to go around. And physically? These two were sweetness, swoon, and fire and I loved all of it. I loved the tension, I loved that Billie takes what she wants, and Dare is right there for all of it. The love and lust between them was a wonderful thing to experience.
"I'm going to make you fall in love with me every day for the rest of our lives." Throughout the years, the miles, and all the memories, these two were meant to be. Regardless of all the adventures you can have in this life, sometimes having someone who loves you by your side really is all the rush you need.
- I'm not a fan of the writing style, it's not flowing, it's too ... wordy? not sure how to explain, but it's not for me ...... - the premise was interesting... but this book definitely made me realize that I'm not a fan of the friends to lovers and second chance tropes ... why!?? maybe because she had to see him with the flavor of the week too many times in all those years they were friends or whatever they were ; and he had the audacity to say that he always loved her; nothing is on page ,just some shots drinking with some girls in the bar that she manages, but everything is implied ;) - honestly there are a few cringe scenes, here and there, as well - too repetitive, how many times do we have to read about their childhood and memories together? I wanted to DNF because of this; it's like the same memory / scene was explained in at least 2 pov and it was exhausting - I might try the next one because it sounds interesting... but that's it, last chance I give to this author's books
The Trouble with Whiskey is the first book in the newest series by this author. I went into this story completely blind and I am really happy that I did. There were so much unique qualities that were displayed within this story. I was so drawn into this story. This is basically a childhood sweethearts and friends to lovers. There is such an intense level of emotion that is layered so well within this story. Dare and Billie have been part of a trio since they were kids. But the third person in their friendship, who participated in their childish craziness and daredevil stunts, was killed and it tore Dare and Billie apart. But Dare has never given up on Billie. We see how withdrawn Billie has become, but how Dare NEVER gives up on Billie. He is always so steady and has her back always even when she doesn't like him, he takes care after her and protects her. We see how intense their connection becomes and I liked how we do get to see plenty of happy couple page time. But we do see them work to overcome some challenges that they have ahead. I found the aspects of the "Daredevil" type of stunts and characterizations to be so unique. I just loved seeing how daring and bold these characters are and how well they fit together. Seeing them reach their HEA was such fun and this author had my emotions all over the place.
This story is awesome. 😍😍 I love the way Dare loves her and how she encompasses his entire life. Sexy and steamy. Super emotional, heartfelt, and compassionate too. Lots of tears 😭 Only issue is sooo many characters but they are all amazing! I’ve got to read all the books! Melissa Foster captured my heart.
Shadows of heartache reveals dangerous temptation. The Trouble with Whiskey is a heartbreaker in search of it's soul. Dare and Billie are unpredictable. From volatile to emotional, their relationship is far too addictive not to explore. Like a thundercloud struggling to find it's rainbow, Foster refuses to back down from the challenge of seducing the heart right out of your chest despite the bumps and bruises along the way.
Audio Review:
Dare and Billie are perfectly in tune with the heart. Emotions run deep and temptation burns bright. The Trouble with Whiskey is a spectacular ode to the twists and turns of life. Powerful. Unpredictable. Unforgettable. Morgan and Peachwood dare to give voice to a showstopper.
I really liked this author's Dark Knights at Peaceful Harbor series, was looking forward to this one. However it just isn't working for me. I've opened the book to read it 5 times today, never getting further than a few pages. Dare drives me nuts, he's too cocky, Billie is only slightly interesting for me. But honestly it's Dare that is making me stop reading, every time he's on the page it's like finger nails on chalkboard, I just can't take him, which sadly makes this one not for me.
It's no secret that I am a HUGE fan of Melissa Foster's books, each and every one of them pulls all sorts of emotions from me whether it's laughing or silent tears or seriously ugly crying and that's because her books always give me a connection to the characters that makes it feel as if you are part of the family and are right there with them as everything unfolds.
In this first book of THE WHISKEYS: DARK KNIGHTS AT REDEMPTION RANCH SERIES the crying came in chapter ten, man that was a rough chapter to get through so be prepared with tons of tissues!
Billie and Dare were best friends from a young age and they had another best friend, Eddie, whom they did everything with until the day he lost his life in an accident and then everything changed. Now Dare is tired of seeing Billie being a shell of her past self, where had his Daredevil gone? So he's going to do everything he can to get her back.
This one was recommended to me by a dear friend and I thank her for introducing me to Melissa Foster. I’m such a sucker for small-town romances, but who knew I would like a biker romance too!!! I love reading out of my comfort zone and this author is a new favorite!
I’m so looking forward to the second book in this series, For the Love of Whiskey, which comes out in April
“Daredevils for life, darlin’. You’re a part of me. The best part of me.” Dare, Billie and Kenny’s friendship will pull on your heartstrings, make you cry, and laugh, but mostly fill your heart with so much love for these three characters that you will wish you were part of their daredevil pack. There is so much chemistry between Dare and Billie that sometimes the pages felt hot!! Dare will be your forever book boyfriend because he’s such a kind gentle person and seductive!!
This is not just a hot romance. The characters are well-developed and the story is layered with difficult topics such as grief and raising difficult children which the author weaves into the story in a way that adds a lot of depth.
Redemption Ranch and the whole extended family will steal your heart from the first page to the last!! I love that the story highlights that family is so much more than blood relatives!!
Like all Melissa Foster's books, you know you're gonna get all the emotional goodness and still you get surprised by the beauty of it all.
This is the book of Dare and Billie, who find each other years after their best friend, and part of the love triangle, Eddie, died. It has been incredible hard for Billie to be in a sort of balance with her hurting, but Dare's incessant attention and care for her, which never faltered, makes her open up bit by bit.
I was afraid because of the past love triangle there would be a lot of drama, a lot of remembering, but the whole book is filled with their wonderful time together, as they get close to each other and Billie returns to her passions.
They are both charming characters, Dare being a therapist has a lot of understanding and patience, so he is truly the shinning star of this story. It was interesting to see their true coming of age as something pretty big happens at around 3/4 of the story and makes them think about their lives.
All in all, this was goodness in book form. Hot scenes, tender moments, the whole big family and friends and a teenager that must be brought on the right track, a recipe for a good time read.
I received a copy of this in order to offer my personal view on it.
At first the book was really interesting, but later on it got to the point that I wasn't fully immersed into the story. From that point nothing cought my attention. But I am sure that other people will like it. After all, we are all different and have different tastes.
Special thanks to the author and Grey's Promotion for providing me with the copy and giving me the chance to read it.
This was a wonderful first instalment in the new series about the Redemption Ranch side of the Whiskey family. Something about those bikers always draws me in - the Whiskeys are my favourite books written by Melissa Foster.
Dare and Billie sure have an interesting story. It's filled with crazy moments, wonderful friendships and family units, but also some tragedy. Their story moving forward is one of determination and I really liked how it focused on getting through and talking about their issues and feelings after such events. I also really liked how it focussed on the work at the ranch, especially with Kenny.
This was a great booked that I really enjoyed, and I look forward to getting more of this series.
Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Trope: Second chance Angst: 😱😱😱😱😱 Smexy: 🔥🔥🔥
The Trouble with Whiskey is the first book in Melissa Foster's new spinoff series, The Whiskeys: Dark Knights at Redemption Ranch. It is a standalone and told in 3rd person. The Trouble with Whiskey is a super angsty, emotional rollercoaster of a ride of a story that will, at times, feel like it rips your heart out. The relationship progression happens pretty quickly in the story and the real journey is Billie's journey to self-forgiveness and acceptance of things she cannot change. Billie and Dare have a ton of chemistry that comes from being life long friends and their unwavering affection for each other and it was wonderful to watch it play out.
THE TROUBLE WITH WHISKEY is the first instalment in Melissa Foster’s contemporary, adult THE WHISKEYS: DARK KNIGHTS AT REDEMPTION RANCH erotic, romance series-a spin off from the author’s The Whiskeys: Dark Knights at Peaceful Harbor and The Wickeds: Dark Knights at Bayside. This is therapist Devlin ‘Dare’ Whiskey, and bar manager Billie Mancini’s story line. THE TROUBLE WITH WHISKEY can be read as a stand alone, you do not have to have read any of the previous series to understand or follow along.
Told from dual third person perspectives (Dare and Billie) using present day and memories from the past THE TROUBLE WITH WHISKEY follows the childhood friends to frenemies to lovers relationship between therapist Devlin ‘Dare’ Whiskey, and bar manager Billie Mancini. Devlin, Billie, and Eddie Baker grew up together in Hope Ridge, Colorado, and both boys/men fell in love with our story line heroine but Eddie jumped the gun, asking Billie to be his bride but an accident would claim the life of Eddie Baker. Six years would pass, and Billie continued to struggle with the guilt and grief, so much so that she pushed everyone she had ever loved out of her life including family, friends, and our story line hero but Devlin ‘Dare’ Whiskey refused to give up on the woman he loved, and vowed to pursue Billie Mancini to the end of his life. What ensues is the slow rebuilding friendship, and growing romance between Billie and Dare, and the potential fall-out as a disaster threatens to destroy all progress between Billie and Dare.
Billie, Dare and Eddie were dirt bike riders, and professional motocross racers but Eddie’s death pulled Dare and Billie apart, threatening a life long friendship in the face of guilt and grief. Dare Whiskey would become a licensed therapist, currently working at the family owned rehab centre Redemption Ranch, while Billie struggled to move on, opting to manage her father’s bar. Throughout the six years since Eddie’s death, Dare has battled with Billie for control of her heart, the heart of the woman Dare is hoping to claim as his own.
The relationship between Dare and Billie is one of second-chances, of a sorts. Best friends since childhood, Dare, Billie and Eddie did everything together but the loss of Eddie slowly shrouded our heroine in a cloud of grief, a cloud that follows her where ever she goes. Rejecting family, friends and the man that she loves, Billie struggles to move on from the past. The $ex scenes are intimate erotic and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
There is another large ensemble cast of colorful, energetic and fun secondary and supporting characters including both Billie and Dare’s families, friends, and several members of the Dark Knights.
THE TROUBLE WITH WHISKEY: The Whiskeys: Dark Knights at Redemption Ranch is an emotional, heart breaking and powerful story of love and friendship, family and relationships, acceptance and move forward. The premise is powerful; the romance is seductive ; the characters are struggling but healing and strong.
I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
Welcome back to the world of the Dark Knights. This time around we are visiting the Redemption Ranch in Hope Valley, the setting for Foster’s newest release, The Trouble with Whiskey. In this first book of a brand new interconnected series, Foster delivers a heartwarming, passionate and sexy story, which will have readers crying, laughing and cheering alongside Dare and Billie.
Regular visitors to visitors to the blog knows how much I love Melissa Foster’s books. Each time I pick up her books, I expect a sexy and emotional read and she never disappoints. So when I picked up The Trouble with Whiskey I was prepared for a well-written friends to lovers, small town romance. The book met all my expectations.
They were a lot of steamy moments between the pages, balanced by humorous banter, heartbreaking moments and a heartwarming romance. I fell head over heels for the characters featured in this installment. From the main to the secondary characters. I am so looking forward to their stories.
My favourite thing about Foster’s stories is her characters. Dare and Billie captured my heart from the first page. Here we have two people who were inseparable from childhood until tragedy tore them apart. Love, however, proved more powerful and soon they found their way back to each other. Their romance will have you tearing up, but leaves you smiling in the end. I enjoyed how they came together. We see how much they are perfect for each other.
The Trouble with Whiskey is sizzling and compelling friends to lovers romance. It is the type of romance which will have readers believing in a love that not only survives time but also has the power to heal and change lives. - Simply Fantastic. The Trouble With Whiskey was the first book in The Whiskeys: Dark Knights at Redemption Ranch series by Melissa Foster. It was one of her many in the Love In Bloom series and can be read as a stand-alone.
I’ve taken a break from formal reviews for a while but a couple quick thoughts: Dare and Billie were childhood best friends until their third best friend - a trio of daredevils for life - was tragically killed. They both reacted differently to their grief and they became estranged. Several years had passed and Dare decided it was time to change the course that had been set and claim his best friend back. It was emotional at every turn and filled with life lessons. Foster also introduced all the new characters with depth and dimension and paved the way for a great new series.
The trouble with reading Melissa Foster’s books, is that with every romance she writes, I fall head over kindle in love with a new book boyfriend. The woman knows how to write sexy, loyal, honorable, men and Devlin “Dare” Whiskey is no exception.
𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗕𝗟𝗘 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗪𝗛𝗜𝗦𝗞𝗘𝗬 will be push all your emotional buttons and leave you wanting the kind of friendship the Daredevils had and craving the all consuming love, Dare and Billie share. This book is a story about love in all its forms and the bonds that form because of it. It is truly a beautiful story and isn’t that what reading romance is all about?
I look forward to the next installment of 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝘀𝗸𝗲𝘆𝘀: 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗞𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵 series and cannot wait to see what is in store for the guys and girls of Hope Valley, Colorado. I’m giving 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗕𝗟𝗘 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗪𝗛𝗜𝗦𝗞𝗘𝗬 the judy.ann.loves.books stamp of approval, TBR and Enjoy!
It's been 6 long years for Dare to watch the woman he loves shutting everyone out. He tried giving her space but now the time has come for him to make her see just how much she means to him.
Billie will not go down easy. She blames herself for the death of (one of) her best friend who was also her fiancé at the time of his death. When Dare starts to push she is reluctant but when they start reminiscing she starts to remember the good times they all shared while being the daredevils. It was heartbreaking to watch the transformation in her, how much she wanted to let everyone back in but just didn't know how. When this finally seems to be on the right path for them, their life is turned upside down once again. Only this time Dare won’t let anything stand in his way of making her see that they were meant to be together always and forever.
I cried, laughed and mostly was happy to see them getting to the HEA they both needed.

Oh wow, what an emotional, thought provoking, funny, sad at times, read. How can I gush about this book without giving any spoilers? We return to Redemption Ranch - which we first visited in Searching for Love - and these Whiskey's are the cousins of the Peaceful Harbor Whiskeys. Devlin 'Dare' Whiskey grew up as one of the three Daredevils, alongside his best friends Billie Mancini and Eddie Baker. A tragic accident caused them to grow apart, but Dare is determined to get through to his friend and there are some hilarious moments where Dare shows off his comedic side. But there are also poignant moments too, when they discuss Eddie and watch something from the past. Billie slowly realises that her secret crush, Dare, loves her just as much as she loves him, when she finds out things he has done over the past few years with her in mind. She does struggle with guilt along with her grief, but therapist Dare helps her work through it. With Dare's parents and siblings, plus the staff at the ranch, you just feel like this book is giving you a big hug. The strong family bonds, along with the teasing, just wraps everything up nicely. And you will fall for curly haired Gus, who is all of four years old, but constantly refers to Dare's sister, Sasha, as 'Sugar'. And there is even a mention of Kaylie Crew and Treat Braden. I just love how all the series/characters in the Love in Bloom world interact, so we often get an update on how they are doing. I'm looking forward to all of Dare's siblings books, especially Cowboy. But Birdie will need a strong guy to tame her...she's so full of sass! Get comfortable, with a pot of tea and plenty of tissues, and enjoy the Daredevil ride this book takes you on.
"He took one last long look at her. I'm going to make you fall in love with me every day for the rest of our lives, Macini. Whether you get your memory back or not" says, Dare. . When I requested this 📖. I had no idea what it was about. All I know it was by Melissa Foster so it had to be good. This book will send you through every emotion you never thought you had. I was laughing one moment, then crying the next. The love between Dare and billie one can only dream of. I know Im setting new standards. 🤣🤣 Then imagine reading this book at Starbucks and come across the spicy parts in the book. Im looking 👀 around like good they can't see me. Believe me I was blushing. I definitely enjoyed it and your definitely not gonna want to miss it. I want to thank Melissa Foster for the opportunity to read this book for a honest review.
This book had heartbreak and so much love in it. It had to be so wonderful for Dare, Billie, and Eddie to grow up together. Dare and Billie needed Eddie to to be the calming presence of the group. It was heartbreaking what happened to Eddie and then how Billie closed herself off to everyone. Billie and Dare used to be the biggest daredevils around. I don’t know how their parents lived through it! Dare loved Billie with all his heart. Any woman would want a man that tried anything and everything to show her how much he loved her. Billie and Dare’s families were the best and knew how to show love and respect to everyone. It was so heartwarming watching Dare and Billie find their way back to each other. There is something that happened near the end that broke my heart. This was a great book that I strongly encourage you to read it. I was given a copy and voluntarily wrote a review.
The Trouble with Whiskey is book #1 of The Whiskeys: Dark Knights at Redemption Ranch series of contemporary romances.
Redemption Range is a place that offers help to troubled teens, ex-cons and those needing a safe place to start over and be given a chance to work through their problems with counsellors, while heling out on the ranch and learning new skills.
Dare Whiskey is a counsellor and knows from experience what it is like to go off the rails. He’s also madly in love with Billie, his childhood friend. But Billie pushed him away when they lost their close friend; she blames herself for his death.
Dare is determined to get through to Billie and find that close friendship that they once had. He’ll do anything for her, all he needs is a crack in her armour.
Redemption Ranch is a wonderful place, with lots of people who will each get their story in time. Dare and Billie make a great couple and I enjoyed their story. Daredevils Forever!
~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~
This is the first of a new series, but as any Melissa Foster fan will expect, it is in the world that we all know and love and brings us many familiar old friends, plus gives us the happiness of catching up on many previous successful relationships.
Dare, Billie and Eddie grew up together, daredevils and talented on two wheels ... but Billie chose Eddie, and then he died in a stunt gone wrong, and she stopped doing all those things and cut her closest friend out of her life.
Billie now works in the family bar, and stays away from the biggest temptation in her life. We know that this is not going to work forever, and get to watch the two of them find their new normal as a duo. So many lovely moments dealing with difficult issues which have been buried, and allowing those deep feelings to surface again. I love that we get to see them both come back to their best lives together.
Dare also has to make some changes in how he approaches life, but he is determined to make Billie come back to life ... so crazily romantic in the very best biker way - swoon-worthy for sure. Nothing will stand in his way, whatever happens - who could wish for more?
Be warned that once you start this it will be very difficult to stop, so plan for a good few hours of quiet, stay hydrated, and get ready for a fabulous story from page 1.
One thing I absolutely love is when someone writes a character I haven't read before. Ladies and gentleman, let me give you Dare Whiskey.
📚 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲: Cowboy romance, friends-to-lovers, second chance-ish.
📖 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗼𝗽𝘀𝗶𝘀: Dare, Eddie and Billie were best friends growing up, always pushing the limits with adrenaline filled antics - until a reckless stunt kills Eddie. Lost in her grief, Billie pulls away from her friends and family, until Dare decides he's had enough and sets his sights on bringing her back to him.
🌟 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄: So get this. Dare Whiskey is a rancher, a motorcycle club member, a complete daredevil and adrenaline junkie AND a licensed therapist. He works to rehabilitate kids and ex-cons who make it to the ranch, and he loves Billie more than anything.
I'm a big fan of when the guy falls first and hard. And well, Dare has loved Billie since they were 6 years old. There's some solid angst in the book as he coaxes Billie back to her old self, but the entire book he's the most amazing book boyfriend. I just want to have him be real. Big time swoon.
If you've read Melissa Foster's stuff before, it can be overwhelming with the different families involved. BUT this is the first in her new series surrounding the Whiskey family, and I'd say this is a great place to jump in. The rest of the series is going to be solid.
If you love second chance love stories set in small towns you will love everything about Dare Whiskey and Billie Mancini’s journey. This is book one in The Whiskeys: Dark Knights at Redemption Ranch and it’s an emotional story set in the small town of Hope Ridge, Colorado. Dare and Billie have been friends since their childhood but when Eddie, the best friend they both loved died in a dangerous stunt, it was Billie who pushed everyone away including friends and family. Dare is a therapist at the family ranch and he is never going to walk away from his soulmate and this book is all about convincing Billie he is worth another chance…… This is an emotional journey with all the feels, I fell hard and fast for Dare and I adored Billie but it was the Whiskey family that took this book to another level. The journey may be rocky and there re a few bumps that this couple need to get past before they get the HEA they both deserved. I loved this book and I can’t wait to see where Ms Foster takes us next.
What an emotional read this one was! I laughed, I cried, I swooned, and I fell madly in love with Dare Whiskey!
Billie and Dare have been best friends for years until their other best friend of the Daredevils for life trio passed away. Dare decided to become more adventurous than he already was and doing more stunts that could potentially not end well, and Billie, well she just pushed everyone away. She felt guilty and it took the love of her best friend to bring her back and to really see that she has no reason to feel guilty and really helped her heal from the inside out.
Dare and Billie are one hot couple! There is lots of love shared between the two and lots of healing along the way. Dare is one very romantic guy and pulls out all the stops to impress Billie and bring her back to her old self. After all they were both part of the Daredevil trio!
I love all of Melissa's books, but I think this one is my absolute favorite (until I read the next one that is) and this one really shows how one can heal from such a tragic loss and find the love they need to heal. These Whiskey's are one hot bunch and I can't wait to read more from Redemption Ranch!
This first book in the Dark Knights at Redemption Ranch series hits your heart hard and fast. A story of two childhood friends that let a misunderstanding, rejection and a tragedy come between them. Dare has a heart as big as his huge personality (yes I said personality) and his love for Billie has always been as large as the night sky. He will need to push his girl to show her that the love they have felt for each other since they were children can't be ignored and is worth taking a risk for. Their story will make you laugh, blush, cry and everything in between. It will grab hold of your heart and soul with an intensity that will take your breath away. These two characters will have you falling in love with their story like no other. The chemistry and connection that Dare and Billie have radiates with pure love, friendship and a craving for each other like you could never expect. An absolutely beautiful story that not only has witty banter, tender moments, heat and passion but has a depth to it that will rock your world.
Welcome to Redemption Ranch and a new group of Whiskeys to fall in love with!
What an emotional ride Billie and Dare take you on throughout the course of this story. There is a lot of ups and downs when it comes these two but in the end the journey is worth it.
After the tragic loss of their best friend, Eddie, things changed between Billie and Dare. Billie was closed off and struggled with the grief and guilt she felt over the loss and the accident. Dare watch Billie struggle over the years and shut him out of her life.
Billie and Dare had a strong connection and so much chemistry, even when they were younger. As adults they have a lot to work through individually and together to heal from everything in the past that happened. It wasn’t always easy and was emotional at times.
I can’t wait to return to the ranch!
