„Forget Me“ is the second full-length instalment in the “Forest Hollow Wolves” series by Amanda K. Mann. A prequel on the events that brought Alexandra (Lex) Rhoades to Forrest Hollow is also already available (‘Betray Me’).
Lex decision to stop running and beginning a brand-new life in Forrest Hollow, was cut short when her past finally caught with her with dread consequences. Now, two months after the attack that took Cage from her, she seems finally has accepted the prospect of having to live without love and never be happy again. But fate has definitely another plans, and they come in the form of Cage, scouring every corner to get his mate back. Even after living as a rogue shifter since the attack, Cage has managed (barely) to hold to sanity, and will do anything, just anything to find her, even it this means to unite forces with the most unlikely allies.
Amanda K. Mann’s writing style is captivating, crisp, and fast-paced, with lots of subtext and hiding meaning between the lines, and still easy to follow. Alexandra/Lex who despite her abusive and coveted upbringing succeeded in becoming a very strong and capable young woman, seems to have come full circle, succumbing to the lifelong dependency relation with her own father, but even in this apparently hopeless situation, she is able to gather her inner strength, she might accept this ‘seemingly’ final fate, not because she covets, but because her love for Cage outweighs her own needs. Cage is the perfect counterpart, confident in his role (as enforcer of the pack) and looks, who after his initial rejection of Lex, realizes that Lex is the missing piece of the puzzle he is 😉

I need to catch my breath after this book. It was no stop from page one until the end. Lex is a prisoner of her father and the coven she grew up in. But she has a secret she is protecting. She is being controlled. As much as she tries to fight back, she plays their game to protect her secret. Little does she know that Cage is fighting to find her and free her. Along with a new witch friend Mia. This books is non stop action. I am not giving any more details. You will experience surprise after surprise. And it's epic. A must read for Paranormal Romance fans. Warning you will go on an emotional journey with the characters, but it's so worth it. And there is more ! I can't wait for the next book. Frankly, I need it!

This book wasn’t what I was expecting. I’ll try not to give any spoilers, but it might be hard. It’s a great book but there might be a spoiler ahead. This book took a totally different direction than I thought it would. It was still an amazing love story with the hunky hunky shifter getting the girl but there is SOOOOO much more!!!!!!

Cage and Le'x stories have continued on since the first book. Including bringing Mia's the daughter of the witch who cast the soulmate spell and the witch's council into the mix hopefully will help Cage. Lex, dealing with her father, Derek, and a discovery she wasn't sure she was ready for. Enemies are shown to reveal their true natures and friends will be lost. So ready for the next book.

Seriously?!! This author simply refuses to give Lex and Cage a break! Madness and mayhem throughout, with brief pauses for calm, are the very foundation of another thoroughly engrossing storyline. And again with the unexpected twist at the end; the shocking revelation as to motive means Book Three, "Tame Me," is due to make an appearance in my Kindle!

Ughhhh
These poor souls can just never find that happy ending but I'm here for it. We have got to stop killing off characters though... it's detrimental to my heart. Geesh. Such a great story once again... off to read book 3

We start the book of with unbelievable news, Lex is pregnant! She hasn't seen her mate, Cage, since her father attacked the pack and forced her to come back to the coven. Cage is not give up and has went rogue trying to get her back. By any means necessary. Cage enlists the help of a witch who is able to pull some strings and get him an audience with the witches council. Wirhout giving too much away and spoiling the book, just know we could have had our happily ever after at this point but the author takes us on an action packed journey. Will these two fated mates overcome the many obstacles being thrown their way? We are left on the edge of a very steep cliff.....hope she is a fast writer lol. Looking forward to the next book.
