I crave her scent. I can’t stay away. Nothing can keep me from claiming the new waitress at the diner. Except for her other mate, the scent match I didn't know existed. He's a stranger to me and our pack, but now we must work together.
Two mates for our female. Our mate is human, untouched. She doesn't know about our kind. We must convince her to accept not one, but two mates. Two cowboys in her bed. Two dominant wolves to protect her. And my scent match's wolf is turning feral with need.
We touch our mate. We can’t get enough. We need to claim her and mark her as ours before his wolf goes mad. She’s a virgin, so we have to be careful--shifters can be rough. And we're not the only ones who want her--she's being hunted by another male. But I will protect her if it’s the last thing I do. Even if it means keeping her from her other mate.

This series has been ON POINT in the PNR/MFM category. Desired is Cord, Rachel and Nash's story. Cord is the town doctor and doesn't think he will ever find his fated mate or have a family because he doesn't have a scent match. Two Marks wolves mate in pairs with their female and the men scent match the same woman. But one day Cord smells something divinely delicious at the local diner and it just might be his fated mate!
Rachel ran away from her world that was beginning to strangle her spirit and found herself in Two Marks. She takes a job at a local diner and the day she meets Cord is the day her whole world changes.
Nash is in town helping Shelby and her mom (from book .5) move some furniture and attends a bar-b-que only to discover not only his scent match but also his fated mate!
Thrown off course, Nash and Cord must work together to win over Rachel and convince her that two men are better than one. Will Rachel accept both of them? Their flaws and their secrets?
This series is so deliciously dirty with a great plot. If you like MFM, PNR, possessive alphas and a virgin heroine then definitely scoop this up for a little late night reading.
This was an okay book, we have the typical "human doesn't know about shifters" story along with the MFM with some "secret baby" and other man drama. 4 stars
Rachel's story was a nice story to pass your time. I had a feeling that the timeline was somewhat off, at some points it didn't even make sense but overall it was ok.
'Desired' is book three of Renée Rose and Vanessa Vale's "Two Marks" series and if you like me and find the thought of a triad exciting, then this is a series is for you as well. If you’ve already been introduced to the town of West Springs and the Two Marks pack, then you'll remember Cord, the town doctor. He's also never found his scent match after all these years. In Cord's mind, that was the explanation he had for not being able to father children, which he'd also found out doing all the testing. Rachel was the only daughter of a wealthy couple in California. The child who never made waves, always did what was expected, and never talked back. For years now, her parents had not only paired her with Chester, their best friends' son but had their wedding all but planned even with Rachel continuing to tell them she didn't want to get married. The final straw came on the night Rachel had made up her mind to completely break things off with Chester. Thinking they were going out to dinner, they wound up at the country club where everyone, including friends and family, was in on the surprise engagement party, but her. That's when she told Chester, her family, and all in attendance she didn't love him and couldn't do this and ran out. Nash was living up in Montana with his grandparents, who had raised him after his parents were in an accident, among the Wolf Ranch pack. He was asked to bring Marne and her vast wardrobe down to Two Marks. His initial plans were to help Marne and then return on Monday. Until all hell broke loose at the BBQ being held at the alpha's house, nothing would be the same. Twists and turns abound in this storyline. Emotions run high. And several mysteries come to light. You know small towns … gossip runs rapid and West Springs is no exception. What a great story to get lost in. I can't wait to see what comes next.
Desired is the third book in the Two Marks series, a spin off of the Wolf Ranch series. Rachel is running from her ex and parents, trying to figure out what she wants and needs out of life and love, and is a terrible waitress in the process. Cord is a wolf shifter from the Two Marks pack, but doesn’t have a scent match, until he does with Nash. Both want to claim Rachel, but until her heart is forever theirs, and the secrets and danger from their past is taken care of, will this triad ever find happiness?
Oh wow, I loved reading this book! Just when you think a wolf shifter romance won’t have any new twists or turns, along comes Ms. Rose and Ms. Vale to lead me down a twisty path towards love and claiming! Rachel, Cord, and Nash stole my heart and attention from the very first chapter and I loved their connection! I loved that they had things they needed to work out between the three of them, because all three were strangers before they met on the same day. Fate really played a big part in this romance and it helped save more than one character in this book. Rachel was hesitant to reach out for love because she thought things might be moving too quickly, or she wasn’t in control, or all sorts of things, but she was brave, bold in her love, and fearless in wanting to protect and save those she loves. Cord had some feelings of inferiority to deal with Nash had his past and a bit of anger to work through, but both immediately put their mate first, and thought working together to win her heart was the most important thing. They had an instant connection (yay for fated mates!) and a ton of passion, and they definitely had some bumps to overcome. More than one character’s past came into play, but my heart and attention stayed focused on this book the whole time. I think this may be my favorite in the series!
Feeling like she is being forced into an engagement she doesn’t want, Rachel becomes a runaway fiance where fate has her stopping in West Springs and she finds a job as the world’s worst waitress in the local diner.
While Cord may be the town doctor as well as a researcher in both wolf and shifter genetics, he doesn’t feel fulfilled. He never found his scent match and because he can’t have children, he feels like he will never be a worthy mate. But, when he scents the new waitress at the diner, everything changes.
Nash is only in West Spring on an errand. Unmated and unfulfilled, he wonders why he’s always felt like something is missing, even when watching happily mated pairs. It isn’t until he’s in West Springs and sees the triads that are the norm there that things start making sense. He’s thrown for a loop when he scents his mate at a barbecue . . . especially when she is already there with another shifter claiming to be her match. But when it’s revealed he may be from the local pack instead of where he grew up, this trio of strangers find themselves on an unexpected journey together.
I loved this book! I think it is one of Vanessa Vale and Rene Rose’s best collaborations to date! Each member of this triad brings their own strengths as well as their own baggage to the possible mating. Even though she’s human, Rachel is strong willed and determined to make a new life for herself based on what she wants, not what others want for her, even when drama follows her to West Springs. And, she finds she wants both men. Cord also brings the working knowledge of triads to the table since this is his home pack and normal way of life even though he never thought he would find it for himself. And, Nash . . . his back story is the twist reader’s won’t see coming, and it’s fantastic! It adds a lot of depth and drama for not only him, but also how the others handle it once all is revealed.
Fantastic drama and suspense, lots of spicy passion, two very alpha males and one sassy and not so submissive woman make Desired a stand out book for both Vanessa Vale and Rene Rose! 4.5 stars!
She finds herself and the Fates provide her every desire Desired: Two Marks Book 3 by Renee Rose and Vanessa Vale is a sweet shifter read with all the steam you expect from these authors. The characters are highly engaging while also dealing with their own conflicts. While things could be so much more complex, theses characters take each antagonistic event and overcome. I really enjoyed this book of the series. The plot has a bit of a twist compared to the first two books, but it’s no less compelling, maybe more so for the slight shift. Cord and Nash are super sexy in their alpha wolf shifter ways of immediate and emotional depth of feelings for Rachel. As a human in a new place and no knowledge that shifters even exist, Rachel is shocked by her reactions to not just one man, but two! She is sweet and a little innocent, but undeniably desirable. Everything is new and wonderful. Overall, Desired is a wonderful addition to the Two Marks series with another perfected design by the Fates in this triad finding their HEA. I read an ARC of this book via Valentine Promotions and voluntarily share my review.
Rachel was not going to marry a man she didn’t love. She certainly wasn’t going to marry one that her parents planned out for. Cord never expected to find his fated mate. But he couldn’t have one with only one. Nash never planned to ever get married or even find a mate. Even more so, he wanted to understand the two mates. He saw it with his friend Shelby. When Cord and Nash meet up stating that Rachel is their mate, fists fly. But Cord has not only found his mate but his matched pair. How is that possible? Now they have to learn about each other and protect Rachel from her ex that will never let her go. I love that Cord is the first one she meets. A doctor and such a sweetheart. He has a big heart. Nash is a bit of a hot head at times but he is a charmer as well. Rachel has two sexy cowboys but she is human and doesn’t know anything about shifters. When Nash discovers information about his past, he see the negative in it. It takes a really hard look to realize that he is not his father but his own man.
Loved this story, engaging from the start with a great storyline that is indeed page turning. I think in my opinion that this has been the best out of the books so far in this series. I loved that Rachel finally had the guts to run from something a life that her parents wanted for her. Not a life that she had made for herself. Cord, a doctor hasnt got a scent match, but when he sees Rachel he knows that she is his mate. Nate is only visiting West spring when he sees Rachel and knows that she is his mate. But it seems that the doctor also is her mate. Stunned they are informed that they are both matched scented. So with out further arging they both decide to share. But Rachels ex comes back to make trouble and Nate finds out who his parents really are.
This has to be the best story ever with a really wonderful storyline that readers, you certainly will enjoy. Five stars plus.
Cord, the small town doctor and wolf shifter scents his mate in the diner she just started working at. He scents that she's a virgin but there's a problem, the town's shifters mate with two males to one female and Cord doesn't have a scent match. His potential mate is Rachel who ran from her SURPRISE engagement that she didn't want and ended up in West Springs working in the diner to pay her way in her first taste of freedom. Cord asks Rachel to a gathering at a friend's place and there, another male tries to claim Rachel as his! This other male doesn't make sense to Cord but everything will be cleared up as Nash and Cord are told that they are each other's scent match and Rachel is their fated mate. This adds another problem because Rachel knows nothing about them and wolf shifters. Of course this is a menage story so Rachel will learn about her mates and the guys will learn about each other and secrets in their pasts and the real reason Rachel ran from her family and supposed fiance. I did love how the guys romanced Rachel and how sweet and patient they were with their innocent mate. I also loved the background story of their coming to be each others scent match. It helped that most of the town's residents are also shifters that mate in a triad. This is another winning collaboration of Renee Rose and Vanessa Vale and I can't wait for more from these talented writers.
Desired (Two Marks series) written by the talented Vanessa Vale and Renee Rose. I have to say this book is my favorite in the series. This was a well written story with plenty of secrets, a bit of danger some great drama and most definitely some major sizzle. The characters were well developed and so darn likable I couldn’t help but love them all. Rachel needs to escape from her pushy boyfriend and she finds herself in West Springs working in the local diner, Cord can’t believe the sweet scent was coming from his mate and not the diner, Nash is visiting the Two Marks pack when the sweetest scent he has smelled is at the bbq and it’s not the food. But things aren’t adding up for the two hot cowboys and the sweet mate of theirs. This is the start to one fantastic story and I highly recommend it.
Saying I’m loving the Two Marks series is a huge understatement. This series is soooo good! I have Been reading Renee and Vanessa’s shifter stories for awhile now, they are some of my favorite quick reads. Cord is a doctor who specializes in the DNA of shifters. He thought he was a failure and was not going to find his mate. When he saw or should I say smelled Rachel he knew he was wrong. Rachel was his mate. What he didn’t expect was Nash, could this be it would their family be complete? This was such a great read! All three of them had great background stories with great emotional journeys. I look forward to reading more books in this fun series.
This is my favorite book of this series. It tugs at your heart strings as all the tangled threads of their lives are unraveled. Is it insta-love - of course it is as they’re fated mates. But if you think it’s the same old story you would be wrong as these authors give it a little twist that will have you reading the book in one sitting. Hope these authors continue the collaboration as their writing melds well, showing glimpses of their individuality while developing a seamless storyline.
Rachel is having her life railroaded by her parents and her supposed “fiance”. When they won’t take “no” for an answer she runs, to find her own way - and hide out.
Cord is a doctor and a bachelor; and he believes Rachel is his mate, but he is not bonded to another male who’s scent matches his. He has never seen this happen before. In a pack where mates are by threes could he even have a chance at Rachel.
Rachel has some things to work out - and of course, has no idea she is surrounded by shifters. I love this community, and this series. Pure entertainment.
*** I am voluntarily leaving my honest review of this book ***
I could not put this story down. The premise is unique and intriguing. Chester was such a jerk. I really enjoyed the surprise engagement party where the guests got the biggest surprise. The story behind Nash and his lack of family was heartbreaking but I enjoyed how it worked out. Cord and Nash are a great team. Can't wait for the next book.
Runaway bride with a twist. What a fun hot read! This town sure knows how to have fun. Finding your match is hard enough but when you are a shifter it seems it is even more intense. I loved everything about this story.
This is book 3 in the two marks series. It is a very good story with suspense danger Passion and drama. You will not be able to put it down. I highly recommend this whole series. I voluntarily reviewed this ARC
Desired by Vanessa Vale & Renee Rose is book Three in the Two Marks Series. This is the story of Rachel, Nate and Cord. Rachel is escaping from her parents and a boyfriend who she doesn't want. Rachel lands in West Springs trying to make a living for the first time. Cord is the DR who doesn't think he will ever find his mate but when he smells Rachel he knows. Nate too is finding that Rachel sets him off too. But can these three work their feelings out before Rachel's past comes back for her? Enjoyed this hot read.
What a great next instalment to this series. Nash, Cord and Rachel have quite the story to tell. Each brings a different dynamic into their relationship. How they work through their different issues to finally get their HEA makes for a great read!
This series is such a delicious addiction- every book gets better and better, and I ravenously consume them all in one sitting. Alpha heroes, sweet but strong heroines, and just the right mixture of heart and heat- yum!
Our heroine Rachel is a delight- a runaway fiance trying to live life on her terms, a rich girl learning to care for herself for the first time, which puts her in West Springs as the world's most horrible waitress, but also puts her in the path of sexy town doctor Cord- who immediately recognizes her as his mate. He’s elated, but also hesitant, since he’s one of the lone wolves in his pack that doesn’t have a scent match- and it’s unclear what that means for his mate. Wooing her is easy, but is hard is when another wolf also think she’s his mate- a wolf outside of his pack, Nash, there delivering furniture to a friend (the heroine from the first novella). So what does all this mean?
Desired is definitely my favorite so far in the series- the chemistry is FIRE, we have some of my favorite tropes at play in conjunction with our shifter-mate focus, and the characters are all fantastic. The plot has a few more twists than the prior books, and each character has their own backstory and substantial element that gives them nuance and emotional range. And Nash and Cord are typical Vale-Rose hotties- alpha, swoony, SUPER sexy, and they’ve got deliciously dirty mouths. I loved watching all of them find their missing link in each other- all of them are on a quest to find fulfillment, to find what feels like it is missing, and fate clearly brought them all together at the right time.
This series is just so addicting- but this book is definitely my favorite yet. The plot was interesting and consuming, the pace perfectly meted, and all of the characters had their own story arc. Like the last book, our heroine is a human, but she gets on board pretty easily- she’s much more perplexed by a throuple dynamic, which made for some humor and super sexy wooing. We have a bit of a twist that was super interesting and gave the story a bit more emotional depth, and I loved watching the three of them grow as characters and navigate their drama. And, as usual- it’s super spicy.
If you like fast-paced, fast-paced mate stories with lots of heat, grab this series up. I can’t wait for the next book!
As a fan of the writing duo of Renee Rose and Vanessa Vale in their Wolf Ranch series, I was excited to see a new series, Two Marks. Once again, these two talented ladies delivered a fantastic story, but one with a nice twist, two shifters who together claim one she-wolf, or in this case, human. I am happy to say that each book in this series reads like a unique and different dynamic of a triad relationship.
“Love at first sight; love at first scent.”
Rachel’s life has been all preplanned for her—from the time she was young, her parents have groomed her to fit what they deemed the perfect life, and that includes the ideal spouse. Her college was planned in political science so she could be a senator’s wife. But nobody has ever asked Rachel what she wanted. So when Chester, along with both their families, surprise her with an engagement party, she says no and runs away. Leaving California and finding herself in West Springs, Wyoming. Taking a job as a waitress—and being the worst waitress ever, but at least, it was her choice.
“I turned and ran, as fast as I could. From the life they had planned for me. The life I didn’t want.”
The story’s plot will have Rachel coming to Wyoming and, in the process, meeting first, Cord, who is shocked to discover she is his mate—because he has never had a scent match—but that will all change when Nash shows up with Marne’s items and scents Rachel too. What a scene at the Alpha’s home when Nash and Cord start fighting one another—but it isn’t long before they are brought to heel and informed they were scent matches for Rachel—if they hadn’t messed it up.
“You two better figure you shit out—and fast, because you just drove your mate away. Your shared mate. From what I can tell, you two are scent matched.”
The story has the good, the bad, and the ugly of life. It has secrets, lies, mystery, suspense, danger, and passion, and sometimes, they get caught up together. Rachel is a virgin by standards, but she is ready to punch her v-card with not one but two sexy men who want her. While the three of them are on board, there are still issues facing—pieces of the past and things that could affect their future—but only if they let it.
“With Nash and Cord, they wanted me no matter what. A horrible waitress. A virgin. A lost woman trying to find herself.”
Nash is haunted about his past, and learning that he is indeed part of the Wolf Ranch pack and Two Marks comes as a shock. Discovering one of his two fathers is living is a second blow to what he has always known. Cord had totally given up on ever having a mate or a future, but that has changed with Nash and Rachel. But, before their triad can move forward, the past comes making threats against Rachel. Can they get rid of Chester and move their future forward? When and how will they share with Rachel that they are shifters and not scare her away? Will a life and death altercation bring it all out in the open and pave the way for their happiness?
“The sense of surrender was complete—all I had to do was let go and let my wolf-mates take care of me.”
Cord: Fates, that was beautiful. Are you okay, Rachel? Rachel: Yes, I’m okay. I’m more than okay. Married and marked. Nash: Time to take both your mates.
I love the chemistry and trust that develops between these three. In reality, they each need one another; it isn’t just one with a need; it is all three and a unique bonding. Where each feels they are lacking, another one picks up, and this joining is strong because of it. Sometimes in life, the past may be ugly, but the future is beautiful. The story has mild spanking scenes, explicit sex scenes, and ménage, with everything being consensual.
“I didn’t question any longer. I knew. I had all the facts. I had a scent match. A mate. The perfect match.” --Cord
Renee Rose and Vanessa Vale do it again! ***** Rating: 4 stars Steam: 3 flames Genre: MFM / Small town / Virgin / Shifter (PNR) ***** We are back in Two Marks where everything is better in twos. Two men that is!
Cord is the town doctor, and he is resigned to being alone…that is until he scents a wonderful smell in the diner… could that be… his fated mate? Who is that beautifully clumsy waitress?
Rachel is new to town and is struggling to find herself and her place in this world after an incident that left her fleeing. LIttle does this little virgin know, she is about to get a crash course in lovin by two very possessive men/wolves. Oh to be a Rachel sandwich!
Nash has come to town to assist in moving some furniture for Shelby’s mom. Imagine his surprise when he’s at a Two Marks BBQ and he scents his fated mate… who is here with another man. Fists will be flying! Little do Cord and Nash know, they have more in common than they think!
Two Marks - Desired is another fun, steamy, easy to read installment to the Two Marks series, where everything is better with two! I mean seriously why choose between hottie #1 and hottie #2 if you can have both. This book was suspenseful, steamy, and entertaining and I truly enjoy this series. If you like MFM, virgins, and possessive alphas, I whole-heartedly recommend this series! A great read!
This was a fun addition to the Two Marks series. If you haven't read the first book in the series, this book can stand on it's own. However, if you like shifter romances, you'll probably want to read the whole series! The shifters of the Two Marks pack always claim a woman in pairs. However, neither Cord or Nash ever expected to be a part of a triad. And Rachel, certainly never considered it when she set out to find herself! With an enjoyable plot, a few unexpected twists and plenty of steamy scenes in this ménage romance, it proves that Renee Rose and Vanessa Vale are a great writing team. Here's hoping they continue to publish more stories together!
Desired from the Two Marks Series by Renee Rose and Vanessa Vale is an entertaining read. Vanessa Vale is a go to author for me when I want a shorter read with all the feels that never leaves you wanting. Her collaboration with Rose does not disappoint. I mean what girl wouldn't want to hot shifters vying for her attention? If your a fan of paranormal romance with and MFM twist, you will be missing out if you don't read this. I promise you will be back for more.
I received an ARC copy and this is my unbiased review.
This is the second book in the series and I was delighted that I enjoyed this one more than the first. The story had some plot twists and I thought the match between the 3 evolved a bit more naturally rather than the insta heat and lust from the previous stories.
Rachel is on the run and lands right in Two Marks territory. Once Cord and Nash get their issues sorted, both sets of eyes turn to their mate. They take their time convincing her it is ok to be with them both. The women in town also back up the claim of 'rightness' with the 3 of them together.
I enjoyed a bit of the back story of the pack and finding out Nash's histMore drama around Rachels' whole family. Overall a pretty good read. I love shifter books and this one gives us unique look at fated mates.
Looking forward to reading more!
*I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Really enjoyed this heart racing adventure! Emotionally thrilling, sexy, exciting and engaging adventure filled with complex intriguing charters, witty banter and undeniable passion...... an edge of your seat emotional roller coaster from beginning to end.
So I have not read the first book in this series, and in all honesty you do not need to read them in order. I was able to pick up and the other characters were mentioned in the book but not too much. This is a paranormal reverse harem and I really did like it. The dynamics behind the way that the Two Marks Pact works is really interesting. This was a new concept for me and I really enjoyed it. The reason behind her Ex wanting to get married was no really a shocker because I knew he was up to something. The struggle that Nash was going through was rough but with Cord and Rachel they were there for him to help him through it and I love it. I think I will continue with this series :)
