This book felt like the author was rushing to get it done by release date that she rushed through it. It felt like the last 20% of the book didn’t go through an editor. I have never seen so many grammar issues and wtf did I just read moments. They weren’t good wtf moments. I had to read over sentences over and over again because I had no idea what was trying to be said.
The addition of Zayn was weird and didn’t make any sense. He came out of nowhere and there wasn’t a lot of time for development in his character. There was also no tension or plot in all of Ada’s story. The first one was maybe the best one because of the tension with the battle, but that was pretty much Lexi’s story seen through Ada’s perspective. The rest was just boring and not good. I liked Lexi’s story way more and I can’t believe I was reading another story by the same author.
I loved this series so much. The likable characters that are in this book more so than the others i think were more so endearing but also a little bit heartbreaking too. Saint especially. He literally made my heart hurt for him. Noah was an absolute sweetheart from the very first book. I just wanted to hug him. Huxley was just reliable, dependable and a fav of mine. Zayn was cheeky and charming so basically i liked all four of them. Ada was also a fav from Lexi's books. This series was great read. It was so good
I read this one because I wanted to finish out the series. I skimmed over the sex scenes reading the dialogue but it was cringy. I liked the story but the sex conversations just ruined it for me.
This book was absolutely amazing! With its clever plot twists and captivating storyline, it had me hooked from beginning to end. I couldn't put it down and ended up staying up all night just to finish it. And I must say, the ending did not disappoint. Ada and her family finally got their well-deserved happy ending, and I was left feeling satisfied and fulfilled by their journey. This is definitely a must-read for anyone looking for an addictive and uplifting read.

I loved the finale of Ada's story! We truly watch Ada grow confident in herself and putting her feelings first for once.
I fell in love with Hux and Zayn and I wish we got more steamy scenes with them. We finally watch Saint heal and I could have read more chapters about him and Ada together. I loved how he always was the dominant one out of the guys and he also let Ada see through him with all his "cracks". Noah was so sweet and throughout their journey you truly feel them trying to progress their relationship from kissing to the final base and man I just wanted to help them out.
I loved the guys so much more than I liked Lexie mates, don't ask me why. I just think that they all loved Ada so much that they went all in and tried to not have the same road bumps that Lexie's mates faced. I also felt closure with them whereas I wished we could have time hopped with Lexie and her mates to get some better closure.
Read this series now if you love wolf shifter or paranormal romance, you will not be disappointed! ❤😍❤😍❤
Make him grovel! I’m so annoyed Noah was shut out for so long because she knew he was clueless. Saint deserved to grovel though. Noah anf Huxley are still adorable and I love them both. There is finally some spice in this but it’s definitely tame compared to the new moon series.
Stars: 3.5 POV: multiple HEA?: yes Cheating: no Cliffhanger?: no Tropes: why choose, reverse harem, high school, shifter

1 star because I could GAF about Lexi. Again. I was here for Ada, the FMC narrator. 5 Stars for Ada. 3 stars in total.
Not a true first in the series. This is a spin-off of the New Moon series to where it is beyond confusing to listen to the Full Moon series. I was so confused to where I had to check reviews to find out what I was missing, only to discover it was a must to read an entire trilogy beforehand.
I attempted to listen to Twice Bitten several times over in the past, finding the female narrator completely un-listen-able. This OTT seductive ridiculousness, breathy with vocal fry. One of the worst narrators I've encountered to where it was impossible to listen to one short novel let alone the entire trilogy... not that it mattered any.
The female narrator for this novel (and series) is pretty good. Just a few issues here or there, but I appreciate how she sounds close to the age of the character. The male narrator is amazing, to the point I'm going to go check out other novels he narrates. So I could not listen to the New Moon trilogy, but I am breezing my way through the Full Moon series due to the narrators. Had I read these novels, it would have been in reverse. Below I explain why...
There is something addictive to Ada's story, but the biggest issue is how it is truly just a rehash of Lexi's trilogy, to the point that Ada just takes a backseat even when she is narrating. This is basically a retelling of Lexi's story from Ada's POV. It's not about Ada or her mates. It's the same scenes from the first trilogy retold by Ada and her mates but still with Lexi, her mates, and the events that happen the total focal point. This is one of the worst retellings, since it is not fresh info, nor is it info from a differing perspective. It's a rehash, a retelling, as if everything that happened to Lexi was so fascinating that another 4 or 5 narrators just have to regurgitate it.
I am listening for the tiny seeds of what is truly happening to Ada and her mates.
If I were reading these trilogies versus listening, I believe Lexi's trilogy would have been the one to read, as it would have been a comprehensive showing of events by the person they were truly happening to. Whereas this is just a retelling of events from the POV of the person it is NOT happening to. What little crumbs we are given for Ada and her mates is overpowered by the chaotic nuggets barely puzzle-pieced together into a readable (listen-able) story. Even if I had read/listened to Lexi's story, the way this info is delivered would still be incomprehensible.
If I wasn't invested, if I didn't enjoy the narrators, I would 1 star all three novels in this trilogy.
Now that I know the events, I'll give it one more try on the original trilogy, listening at a faster speed and hoping the narrator burns herself out and begins to speak more normally, losing that ridiculous inflection that is at odds with the darker content, instead of some golden age Hollywood siren trying to seduce me in a black and white movie.
I had a few good chuckles of actual quotes, lines, and plot points "borrowed" from popular YA movies and books. I was waiting for a "Hang on, Spider Monkey" to drop. "Guess the wolf is out of the bag" makes an appearance, and I burst out laughing in the middle of the night while listening to the series.
(hoopla) I am surprised this one got the highest ratings in the series. Nothing really happens. She starts dating the guys and has sex. That's pretty much it. Saint's big secret and all the trauma he went through is totally downplayed! I disliked the insta-love with Zayn. We know nothing about him, other than he plays guitar well, and he's an old friend of Huxley. Apparently any handsome shifter that's "a friend of Hux, is a mate of mine!" I dunno. It was all very anticlimactic for the ending. No real plot line. Just Ada gets everything she wants handed to her on a silver platter, and life is perfect. Don't get me wrong...I need a HEA as much as the next gal - but I want the characters to WORK for it! DESERVE it... beyond being beautiful and tiny and smelling good. The biggest struggle Ada faces is a stomach virus and her parents being upset that she has multiple boyfriends. (Is that a spoiler?!) Anyway. Very "Meh" story. 3 stars is my "it was okay" rating. I didn't hate it. I was just disappointed.
Finally we get the book we have been waiting for. So what is happening with Ada and her men. So we know that she chose Huxley and had a huge fight with Noah and Saint well he is just being a douche canoe. However, her relationship with Huxley is definitely growing. She also meets Zayn. Wait who and the heck is Zayn right? Well he is from another pack and well since Hux does not have a pack mate he wanted to discuss that with Hux. Only Ada gets a say. I will say that there is something there for sure. She realizes she definitely needs Noah in her life and she wants Saint even if she has to wait. So what is the deal with Saint? Will we find out? We do get some bit of comedy relief and some seggsy moments. Will Saint finally get the help he needs to be what he needs to be for Ada. He did come to terms that she is going to be in his life because he does love her. Now does Ada get her happily ever after? Check it out to see how it all ends.
This is NOT YA and I have no clue why it is marketed as such.
I would have only given 1 star, but since Alex Kydd is the Voice Actor for the MMC's in this book, it gets an extra star (TBH AK's voice gets a million stars from me lol) I think the Author didn't know what she was writing. She really didn't know where Ada's story was meant to go. Everything in this book should have been book 2, then Ada should have turned wolf, and then have something tied into where Lexi's book ended. Maybe bring in Lexi's necklace and her aunt and Grandfather...something. Nope instead we were left with a lot of the same, except in on a Twilight Tour. We did get a 3 years later when they are getting "married" but we still don't get to see her turn. I wish I would have just stopped reading after Lexi's story was such a let down, but I wanted to see Ada relationship with Saint, which we get for like two whole chapters at the end of the book... so it was a big disappointment for me.
This Author gave me a great story that included a young woman with enough love to help heal and show how it is to love unconditionally with scars, flaws, past mistakes and all! She accepts her bad boy with past mistakes secrets and helps him to move forward and heal. Then there's her gentle giant who is sweeter than sugar. Then there is her bent not quite broken sweet scared hero who accepted her and her quirky ways and his friend who is a combination of all of them with a wicked sense of humor. Cool ending to this trilogy. But it left me wanting River and his pack mates story as well as a catch up on the other Kiba members to see where they are now and if they have kids with hopefully triplet girls. To break the not many females born of it.
Shifting Sun is book three in the series Full Moon by author Belle Harper. This one is seriously special- it has all the emotions- spice and the hook. You know the one that pulls you in and makes it impossible for you want to put it down. Well it least for me. Anywho, Ada is a marvel- she’s shy but she knows what she wants. I love that she has diarrhea of the mouth- lol. Her mates well they are pretty awesome- she deserves that. Ok honestly they had to work at it- Huxley is probably pretty perfect- Noah is a sweetheart so that works in his favor- Zayn he’s a character- and Saint- well even though he’s the one who needs the most work - he’s my favorite. Their journey is a long journey one filled with mishaps and many obstacles yet it’s also a one that so much potential. Enjoy!!
I was really looking forward to reading this conclusion of this series. I enjoyed reading the story of Ada, Huxley, Noah, Zayn and Saint and the obstacles that each one of them overcame to have their life together. What I didn't like about this book was that there were so many incorrect words/tenses, missing words in sentences to make them complete, etc. I don't usually judge a book by the typos, use of incorrect words, etc. but I had to re-read a lot of sentences to make sure I was reading what I was and sometimes had to think about what the sentence should have read. It just took a little bit away from a truly pleasant read.
I was not happy that Zayn popped up, like he heard Huxley had a girl, and he was desperate to be a part. He could have been left where he was... on a camping trip for 4 days, and suddenly, she can't stop thinking about him. Woman thou art loosed.... I did like reading about the first time for Hux and Ada.... it was hilarious! I was excited to read that Saint was ready to be part of the unit and that her parents came around. She wants to be changed, I would have liked to read about that and maybe some kids - especially girls being born to both her and Lexi. I read the 3 books, and it didn't end like i wanted, but it was a good read.
Not really a shifter book; pretty much a polyamorous romance. No new action / plot. Mostly semi rushed relationship building.
I liked Zayn, but he really came out of nowhere and his only purpose seemed to be the fourth mate so Ada had four like Lexi…
And I had hoped we would follow up on plot holes from Lexi’s story, but nope! Nothing about Lexi’s grandfather or aunt, nothing about college or classes, nothing about the shift after the bite or the odes of it working… Also, totally brushed off Saint’s secret after it being the all thing in book 2.
So 3 stars because I liked the world and seeing the relationships evolve. Some funny scenes, some cute scenes. Happy ending.
I was excited to read her story and yet the first two books were just a retelling. Then we get to this book and it’s finally new and it feels like it was rushed because we had to dilly dally in the story I just read in another 3 books. Still a light fun story but after reading the earlier series I couldn’t enjoy this as much because the first two books I basically could have skipped.

This series was so good! I loved how nostalgic it felt. It felt like home reading this series. I wish that we got another book to know what happened in those 3 years and how the relationship between the 5 of them went. I wish we also could have found out if she survived the change. I felt like the last chapter was super rushed when there could have been so much more to their story. I’ll be crossing my fingers that one day we will get a 4th book with more of their story.

I love how everything came together with this one. The moms really make this one. All the help they provide is great. I’m glad Ada now has friends. Christmas was perfection and I’m glad it played out the way it did. Can’t wait for the next series, I don’t want to leave their world yet.
The book is a brilliant end with some twists and unexpected turns to keep you addicted. The book is hard to put down i was so engrossed i didn't even realise the story was ending and after only planning to read a couple of chapters I have now been up all night finishing it. I am glad that in the end Ada and her family got their happy ending.
I loved Ada story and how all her mates came to be. I’m glad that Huxley and Noah were here first mates, then Zane, Saint. They all clicked together as family just as Ada needed. I just wished we got a little more story about when she became a wolf. A Great read by Belle Harper as always.
I absolutely loved this book! Everything just fell just fell into place. I’m glad Saint was able to work through his issues and they all got along. I’m glad her and Noah made up. I like Zayn. Their Twilight trip was so funny that they were fan girling. I loved the Christmas surprise. And the wedding ceremony was the perfect way to end it.

I wish there was more time with Saint and their reunion. You could feel the emotions within the story and the characters. They all grew up a lot in the series and had changed for the better. I was worried about Ada’s parents and their reaction to her having multiple mates, but was happy with the ending.
This was a fairly predictable story, with everything panning out the way you woild expect if you've read the first two books. For me it really lacked a core story outside of the "Ada gets her guys" piece. Saints journey was a bit weak at the end, and that was disappointing.
Liked seeing more of the original storyline past Lexi's books in this third installment but felt like there needed to be about 100 more pages of explanation to get to the happy ending. I don't hate on the insta-love trope, but this just felt a little unresolved, especially with Saint being so wishy-washy.
I’m almost grateful that this series turned from plot orientated to smut. As a series focusing on a story, it was quite weak, but as a final book focusing on the sexual dynamics between all of the main characters, it worked. Major drawback for me was the immature language used. Made it very difficult to believe that this was a bunch of adults POV’s
This is an amazing read that I discovered that I could not put down once I started. It moves along at a great pace making for an easy read. It has interesting and unique characters that you cant help but love and a story that will not disappoint. This book is a must read, no doubt about it.
This was the finish of Ada's story and it was do nice! The camping part was nice and the Twilight tour was great! Saints breakthrough was so needed and I am happy Zayn was added too. Loved the ending as well.
It was awesome but I felt like I needed a bit more. I would have loved to hear how Saint got to where he got at the end. Either way, I loved the ending and enjoyed this series greatly!
I loved the book. It was a nice ending to a great series. I would like to say that it did feel all very rushed. Saint also didn’t pay for his mistakes at all. Definitely needed some more groveling for that relationship to work.
