This is an excellent little book packed full of wisdom and advice from the world’s most successful investor.
A few short and simple favorite quotes:
- “Cash combined with courage in a time of crisis is priceless.”
- “The big question about how people behave is whether they’ e got an In er Scorecard or an Outer Scorecard. It helps if you can be satisfied with an In er Scorecard.”
- “Never risk what you have and need for what you don’t have and don’t need.”
There are many longer, more informative quotes, you’ll have to get the book for those. I simply adore WB for his outstanding integrity, frugality, and brutal honesty…all of which run strong throughout the pages of this book.
It is a very easy read, I enjoyed it a lot.

Good and useful quotes. Some of the quotes were just kind of silly bits of conversation that don't really make a lot of sense out of context.
Useful as an introduction to Warren Buffet. Not really useful if you're looking for more than a quick, light, low information read.

Part of my Christmas reading. Since Buffet never really wrote any books himself, this book with hundreds of direct quotes from him is the closest we get to a concise firsthand overview of his investment strategy.
