Going back to my roots of course. Love me some Nancy Drew video games, but I’ve never actually read the books. The Secret of the Old Clock has been sitting on my shelf for years, but I decided to just give the third book a go to get started. These books were written in the 1930s and you can definitely tell. It was fun to notice characters and plot points that are used in the video games. Most of the plot twists were predictable, but every once and while, I would have no idea what was coming up next. Carolyn Keene wrote #64 Nancy Drew books and I intend to read them all even if I’m on my death bed.
