I absolutely loved this first book in Shanti Hershenson's new Biome Lock series! She does such a fantastic job developing her characters, and the universe she has created is so imaginative and exciting! I am truly amazed at the story-writing skills of this this talented 13-year-old author. I can't wait to read the next books in the series!

It was very good! I liked how the biomes were set up- like when we got to see the grass fields in comparison of the dark forest. Another thing I liked was the training montage it was very interesting to read. It’s also really good for a first book!! 5 stars
