Chiseled Chest es la quinta entrega de la serie Makes my Heart race y trae a un surfista más bueno que el queso y su gato casamentero. Un insta corto pero divertido, lindo y fácil de seguir, exagerado a la manera dulce de leche como me gusta a mí con lo sexy incluido!
La pareja era sencillamente adorable por su conexión con los gatos. Tenían buena química. Si bien el libro es breve la autora construyó bastante bien los personajes. Agradables y queribles.
Keaton para morirse de lo guapo que era tanto por fuera como por dentro. Lejos de ser la persona que retratan en las redes. Antes tenía sobrepeso por eso comprendía tanto a Ada y no le importaba la imagen.
Ada era una amante de los gatos, dulce y divertida. La amiga leal. Me reí mucho con ella.
Y hasta los gatos de los protagonistas tuvieron sus momentos, yo estaba toda 'Awwww'.
Me gustó que el gato le encontrara su alma gemela a keaton. Que él tenía que aprobarle la novia era tan cómico.
Soy una persona de perro tanto como de gato y adoré a Rexsi! me gustaría verlo surfear con su dueño, sin dudas lo seguiría en las redes😁
Y dios mio! revelación de Tony! Este personaje, mejor amigo de Keaton me conmovió inesperadamente. Los personajes secundarios acotaban mucho a la historia también y quise saber más sobre ellos.
No hay mucha trama o tiene algo espectacular pero esta fue una historia entretenida sobre las relaciones, amistad, almas gemelas y lindos gatitos. Sin dramas, con un HEA y epílogos dobles para suspirar dejarte sonriendo como tonta... Bueno, ese fue el efecto que tuvo en mi.😆

This one felt like a Netflix production turned into a book... Keaton and Ada story was sweet, fast-passed and over the top for sure! I couldn't have imagined having a cat who likes surf... anyway it was enjoyable to read.

Ada boss wants her to be a fake fiance since shes well pure and maybe because she's a so sweet that can charm any media. So when she meets Keaton and his surfing cat Rexsi when he makes a social media mistake, at first he doesn't wanna fake fiance he has no time until his cat falls head over heels with her and well he always said if his angry cat finds him a woman he's all in.
Ada at first is suspicious cuz really she thinks he's joking but our guy is pulling out all the stops to show her he's 1000th percent true.
No ow/om drama, no cheating,slight secondary characters, sexy times, Both virgins

This was a cute, short story, with just a little steam to keep me entertained.
It was also a little corny, and sometimes almost cringey.

I’m so in love with this woman it’s not funny.
Such a good story. Haven't read much by this author but I think I may just have to check out her other work. This one has dual virgins, dual POV, no cheating or abuse, no OM/OW drama, epilogue at 5 years. Very cute and steamy. Great job.

First things first; I love the cover of this book!
Chiselled chest is the fifth book in the ‘’makes my heart race’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Keaton became famous for surfing with his cat. When he needs a new public image, his manager comes up with a plan. Fake engagement to a curvy girl. What Keaton didn’t expect was to want Ada for real.
The chemistry between Ada and Keaton is clear to see and I liked them together. I thought they made a cute couple.
I loved the bond Ada had with Rexsi.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.

The cat approves! 😺
This book was too cute! A couple of crazy cat people falling in love! How can you resist?!
I loved that on the surface Ada and Keaton appeared to be opposites but they were actually very similar, their love of cats, the simple quiet life and not caring for celebrity and fame even if that's what brought them together.
The cats were such a big part of the story and their relationship and I loved how Megan made this work.
It was another great read from Megan!

Keaton got more than he expected when Ada stumbled into his life. With Rexsi's approval, the two go from zero to 90 in no time! It's comical and over-the-top in a sweet and heated way. It is a quick and easy read that I really enjoyed. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Wow – Story too sweet! This is about Ada and Keaton. It also includes, Rexsi, Wynken, Blynken and Nod. Keaton has gotten himself in a hot mess and Ada’s boss is his PR. Well Ada comes into work with the surprise that she has been promoted to something she didn’t sign up for but is not able to refuse or she will lose her job. Ada’s boss is such a bully and knows that Ada needs her job. The new task was to be a fake fiancée to Keaton for several weeks then have a nice breakup. Keaton is a man that believes in waiting for “the one”, so he does not have flings or anything of that nature especially as Rexsi needs to give his approval. The funny part is that Rexsi approves of Ada, so Keaton is sold, but not Ada. The story is cute and of course Keaton is always without a shirt as he is a surfer and has that buffed chiseled chest that every woman drools over!

This was a super cute and sweet story. I really loved the characters of Keaton and Ada. Keaton is a social media influencer who gets in a difficult situation over a post. With the advice of his manager and PR firm they decide to clean up his image and stage a fake engagement. Ada works at the PR firm and is asked to be his fake girlfriend. When Keaton’s cat takes a liking to Ada Keaton he knows she’s the woman for him, only now he will have to try and convince her how he feels.

This is a story any cat lover is sure to love! Keaton and Ada are both cat people, both believe that brains matter more than beauty, and that love is worth waiting for. Ada is a lowly assistant, and Keaton is a social influencer, complete with a surfing cat. Fate intervenes in the form of some poorly received posts, requiring Keaton to do a quick PR overhaul of his image. He's surprised by the "fake fiancee" that is the solution, a curvy but modest Ada. Ada is all set to dislike Keaton, only agreeing to the scheme to finally be able to pay off her student loans. But all it takes is one very special cat to change their minds! Cute and fun, this lighthearted read is sure to put a smile on your face! Happy Reading!!!

August 15, 2020Keaton and Ada are the greatest couple so far from Megan. Keaton is a surfer and is famous on social media with his pet cat Rexsi who rides the surf board with him. Who would not love that. The book starts with Keaton making a faux pas on social media which his best friend Tony plans to fix with a fake engagement but the minute Keaton and his cat meet Ada he knows it is not going to be a fake engagement but she's going to be his wife. I love the dynamic between Keaton, Ada and Tony. Ada and Keatons love at first sight is so cute, he claims he can never love anyone who his cat will not accept but the minute Rexis accepts Ada Keaton falls right then and there. This was a fast paces love at first sight sexy read and really fun. I really enjoyed this book and I think you all will too.

Keaton, a big, tall, handsome surfer, is a huge internet influencer and has his own u tube channel with his aloof cat, Rexsi. He posted a faux pas on his sponsored post that got him in major trouble and now his PR firm wants him to have a fake fiancé for 3 months until the publicity from his mistake dies down. When Keaton meets Ada, his hired fiancé, he immediately knows she is meant to be his wife because Rexsi, who likes nobody but him, immediately likes Ada. Will Keaton and Ada end up together because his cat likes her?
This was a cute instalove story of a couple brought together by his cat. The author did a great job developing the human characters but the cats had a large role throughout the story. The epilogue was a fun conclusion to their story.

Keaton and his surfing cat became superstars and when a social media post goes wrong his manager steps in. Ada goes to his mansion to meet him and fulfil her contract, three months together and then they split. Keaton is shocked when his cat takes an instant liking to Ada as he seems to hate everyone else. He immediately proposes as he believes Ada is his soulmate. Obviously she has already signed a contract to get engaged but Keaton makes sure that she knows he means every word.

Megan Wade has become one of my must read authors and this book only makes that more of a sure thing. Ms. Wade has a way of grabbing o to her readers from the very 1st page to the very last and her story telling and world building makes it seem that you are part of her books. Her characters are so delightful that you can't help cheering for their happily ever after. Keaton and Ada's story is one of not really thinking that you will ever meet that special someone but with a little help from some feline friends it becomes a reality. This book has everything that you could want in a book; comedy, drama and of course hot romance. You will be sorry if you miss not only this gem of a book but the whole series.

Fake to real in the blink of blurred vision.

Brilliant. Keaton and his cat need help to put his pr mistake behind him he needs a fake girlfriend so his pr agency tells him.
Ada gets asked by her boss to be Keatons fake girlfriend but after meeting him for the first time Keaton asks her to marry him.
Keaton means it when he asks Ada to marry him even though he only just met her but one first sight she is the one also his cat who usually hates everyone is now cuddled on Ada’s lap so yes she is his to keep. Ada moves in with Keaton and her three cats Ada is in love with Keaton she has saved herself for him and him for her a week later they are getting married for real they couldn’t wait any longer to be Mr and Mrs. Love at first sight.

Looking for a unique uplifting story to read, this might be the one for you. An influenced has a cat that he has taught to surf, and a comment was posted on his sight that really caused his popularity to suffer. His manager hired a PR firm to help repair his image. Their plan was to a homely looking woman to play his fiancee for three months. He did not care for this plan at all, any woman in his life had to be liked by his cat. Funny thing was his cat liked no one but him. This book just kept coming up with surprise after surprise. You will keep reading to see what will happen next. You cannot up but smile.

Keaton was a single hunky surfer male who loved his cat Rexsi. The two of them were influencers on social media. It was a full-time job. Ada was a soft, curvy shy female who worked for a public relations firm. Ada might be considered a crazy cat lady with three cats of her own. Her boss makes her become Keaton’s fake fiancé for image purposes. This is an entertaining, funny, romantic kind of instant attraction, instant love story. All of the characters are unique and lovable. It’s a page turner and can easily be completed in an hour. You get all the story development needed in this quick little read. It’s enjoyable!

One for cat lovers
This short and sweet book is about Keaton and Ada. He is a surfer that has become famous online because his cat Rexsi surfs with him (cheesy but cute). After some bad publicity, he’s in need of a bit of a PR overhaul. This brings Ada into his life as the girl he engages in a fake relationship with. She’s an underpaid assistant that agrees to take on the role to help pay off her student loans.
They would ordinarily be seen as opposites, but they have a common love of cats. It’s a love at first sight when he sees how accepting his cat is of her – must be a good judge of character! It’s a cute story that just proves how powerful cats are ;) They ruled out household too!

This is a great story. I couldn't put it down. I loved every second of it. I enjoyed the interactions between Keaton and Ada.
Ada works for a PR firm as an assistant when she is told that she has a new assignment. She must pretend to be Keaton James's fiancee. He made a simple mistake on his social media and now the public doesn't like him. He was surprised by this idea that his best friend/manager and his PR firm. He doesn't like this because his cat doesn't like anyone but him. Then his cat meets Ada. He always said that he would marry the girl that his cat likes. He wants to make this real now. Will he convince her of his feelings for her?

I kind of loved this story. It was short but entertaining and enjoyable for the most part. The characters were interesting and likable mostly. I had issues with Marta and the way she talked to and treated Ada. Ada bugged me too since she let Marta talk to her like that. I was glad that Keaton took the time to actually look at Ada (once she had met Rexsi). Keaton was quiet and seemed kind of shy. Ada was definitely quiet and shy but also self-conscious. It was funny that they were both into cats as much as they were. I really got a kick out of Marta's plans getting messed up. Ada and Keaton had a wonderful happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

Chiseled Chest is a sweet story that was fun to read that made me laugh and warmed my heart.
Ada is a young assistant at a PR firm, that gets roped into helping Keaton get out of a image mess by acting like his fake fiancee. Keaton is a great guy who is waiting for the perfect one, that being the one women his cat likes. When Keaton sees Ada holding his cat, he knows she is the one, now can he get her to fall in love with him.
This is a story that you will not want to story ready once you pick it up.

Keaton and his chiseled chest used the matchmaking services of his devoted best friend Rexsi. Rexsi did a bang up job choosing Ada, they really are the perfect match! The clincher is, Rexsi is Keatons surging partner...and his cat!! This story will warm your heart, I promise! I almost didn’t read it because surfers with chiseled chests just sound so cliched and pretentious to me. Keaton is NOT that guy. This guy is deep, sensitive, loyal, kind and will stand up for his people to the end. I was very pleasantly surprised by this book and was really bummed to leave these characters behind when it ended.

This is a must read book and a must read series. I love Megan Wade books and this doesn’t disappoint. Sexy surfing star Keaton and his surfing cat Rexsi have made a public relations blunder so he has to agree to a fake marriage to put him back on the public’s good list. Curvy PR assistant Ada is roped into helping because she is the plain girl next door. That is until Rexis falls for her, Keaton sees this and ask her to marry him for real. Will Ada marry Keaton??? This is an instalove book with a fantastic HEA and an even better epilogue.
