Emily Hayes delievers if you are in the mood for a smexy age-gap escort love story. Her style is easy to read and straight forward. All the characters had excellent communication and when the "dark" moment happens it totally made sense and was resolved in a realistic way.

The escort trope is a guilty pleasure of mine. They come in all different flavors. This one is a full service escort story. Julia meets Isla (love the name) when Julia's husband suprizes her with an escort for her 57 birthday. (julia and her husband have a open marriage). The age gap is a bit steep for me but the story was told really well and it was obvious they where both very attracted to each other not only phyically but also emotionally. Things end up with a very HEA and a nice epilogue.

A married middle-aged woman couldn't find an empty table at a coffee shop and asked an attractive stranger to share with her. During meaningful conversation, they felt a connection with each other, but never even exchanged names. A later, surprising coincidence led to an unexpected result that changed their lives.

I really liked the characters, and there were similar elements with the movie, A Perfect Ending, which had a great plot. It was an appropriate length, and felt like a complete story, as opposed to the disappointing length of a short story. Great read.

It's an okay story, but once again, the lack of editing makes for a hard read- if those things bother you.

The best thing I can do for this author is not pick up another book by her. She has a good following, so I hardly think that will matter.

Romances with a woman who works as an escort have their charm. This is one of them. Isla, as a sweet and talented worker, has a vast number of clientele, only women. Since everything must come to an end, employment becomes unfruitful when Isla meets Mrs. Johnson and falls in love with her mutually. As her surname suggests, she is the wife of Mr. Johnson. The emotional rollercoaster has begun.

The story might be a cliché for a tenth of the time, yet this is a truly enjoyable. There is always something new, imaginative and joyful.

Isla and Julia were great characters. The age gap between these two women was handled in a way that was delicate and sexy. the whole story was enjoyable reading and flowed well with very little drama, which made it very interesting to read. The two main characters were delightfully portrayed. Truly a wonderful experience reading this book and one I strongly recommend for others to read.

IMHO, there's nothing better than curling up with a well written book and losing myself in the author's imaginary world of women loving women. The characters come to life and drag you, willingly, into their lives and loves. The bonus sex scene, available as a separate download, is much preferable to having the epilog as a separate download from the book. Lesfic fans will want to add this author to their must read lists!

3 stars. If this had been better edited I would've rated it higher but the lack of editing made this tough to get through at times. Other than that, it was pretty good. Escort falls for her married client. Isla and Julia have really great chemistry and the sex scenes were scorching. There's a tad bit of drama thrown in in the end and the epilogue was super adorable if not a bit drawn out. I liked it. This was a fun and spicy read and I'll probably pick up more by this author.

I am giving this 2 stars because there was a lot of good spicy sex scenes and the plot had potential if it was done well. At first it wasn't to bad but soon I realized it was not good writing. For starters the book takes place in NYC and even though Isla is called an escort she is getting paid to have sex and is thus a prostitute which is illegal in new york. The author should have based it in Nevada or somewhere else in the world it is legal. I don't usually write reviews as I know I am not the most qualified but this book just pissed me off so much. For starters Julia and Michael have 2 daughters who are brought up multiple times but there is only one interaction with them and it is at the end of the book. If you are going to add these characters and have them be a part of the story then I would like them to be around for even just a bit. The next thing that bothered me was Isla's collage girlfriend's story, it was very rushed and felt unfinished. The biggest thing that annoyed me was that instead of having a few big conflicts the author choose to have all these little conflicts that were immediately resolved. It felt like she did not want to hurt the feelings of her characters. I know lack of communication is a trope for romance books but this took it to a new level. No one in this book knew how to have a conversation. Anyways this was more of a rant then a review because as I have stated I am not qualified for this. I would not recommend this book to my worst enemy.
