Niamh’s banishment from Ireland is as incomprehensible as it was unfair. A fairy thrust into the world of New York; she has to learn to make it on her own. Working as a cleaner in a hospital allows her to hide who and what she is, but an unfortunate incident almost reveals her secret. When Simon, the Lord of Lycan’s first sets eyes on Niamh, he’s captivated, but he’s not the only one. Simon thinks money and power can buy her safety. He installs her in an apartment block the clan buys as an investment, aware of the restrictions she faces. When the reality of her danger comes to the fore, Simon whisks Niamh away, but whoever is stalking her doesn’t give up easily. They may both desire a life together, but danger is lurking around every corner.
I love this story so much, Niamh and Simon have such a beautiful connection, and their love is one everyone can aspire to find. She is a Fairy, full of light, innocence and determination. He is powerful, swoon worthy and the Lord of Lycans. They are very different, not only in species but in characters. Will their attraction and love overcome these? There is also a great threat in their mists, someone who wishes her harm. Will Simon be able to keep her safe? Can they get their HEA? This book was everything and so much more. I love these series, but this story was exceptional. I devoured it; no other way to describe it really. I couldn’t put it down. So many emotions, I laughed and cried too, so much angst. If you want a paranormal romance book filled with action, mystery and much more. Look no further.
I just love reading this book about Niamh and Simon, it is entertaining and thoroughly enjoyable. The interaction and chemistry between the characters in this book is wonderful. I can't wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
