George Asher; a successful young businessman and a ruthless murderer on the dark web. Isabelle Miller; a cupid and an ‘Elle’. Fate led the way bringing them together. As a business student, she looked up to George Asher… Can she still look up to him after catching him burying a body in one of Utah’s woodlands? He left her the choice of choosing either living or dying. Helping him or digging up her own grave next to the victim. Tyler Harris; Isabelle’s first victim and the man with luring eyes. Tyler and Isabelle met through a slice of Vanilla Cake. She fell in love without realizing the depth of the damage he was still living in after his last relationship. For Isabelle, this is her perfect and only shot to get away with taking hold of his life. But what about the Vanilla Cake?
Hello! I am Sara Hazem, a nineteen-year-old who fell in love with writing. I come from Alexandria, Egypt. I started writing from a very young age, I started with dear diaries, then stories about lost princesses, to novels. As of right now, I have 3 published books! I aspire to be a psychiatrist, clinical or forensic! I am a second year med student... it was really difficult balancing writing with studying, but I hope I figure it out soon. I enjoy reading about crime cases and psychology! I can't wait to see what life has in store for me. I hope you enjoy my books, Vanilla Cake and The Icing on The Vanilla Cake, and my newest child Our Fate Is Written in Books!!! And the others that are yet to come! You can find me on Instagram @saraxhzm and YouTube where I cover crime stories (Mysteries)
incredible book. You fall into the fictional world. I wasn't a big reader at first, but after I read Vanilla Cake I fell in love with reading. I 100% recommend reading Vanilla Cake. Thank you Mrs. Sara for Vanilla Cake, can't wait for the premiere!!!
So, probably biased as I’m the author but this was the book I dreamt of seeing on shelves. And I’ll probably say this for every book I write, however Vanilla Cake has a special place in my heart, of course it being my first ever published book plays a part, but every character is my best friend. Characters across universes, I had the opportunity to explore and write about them (if you put it that way it’s so fun and interesting!) Every character has a trait of mine whether it is their ambitions, traits, actions, mindset, hobbies, you name it! I wrote this book during a very tough time, time when hope was nonexistent. I didn’t even intend for it to become a book, it was just a dialogue prompt. You can say a writing exercise, something to get my mind of things because writing is my safe place. Look where a dialogue prompt got me! Isabelle Miller is my parallel self in another universe, the resemblance is unreal and I hadn’t planned that! My family and friends who read the book pointed that out. I’m pleased to announce that Vanilla Cake II is in the works and close to being done! I’m thinking of creative ways to announce the title so if you have any recommendations please let me know!
A great combination of drama/love/thriller all mixed into one book!
Such descriptive writing with the characters that you actually feel like you know all of them really well. It has tender moments and moments that will make you cringe.
