A dark time when the creatures of shadow descended unto the tranquil human lands, making their existence known. A time followed when empires were led by humanity's conspiracy and betrayal, a time filled with hatred, but unbeknownst to the humans, they were only mere puppets, pawns of greater beings of darkness, entities with the power to crush anything and everything in their way.
What happens when a small human girl catches the eye of one of these so-called greater beings, a pureblooded Lord? Can an ant such as her survive the political strifes and fearsome feuds between the lands and the monsters that control them.
For those who fear vampires, ghosts and the unknown, I offer two words of advice…
Tread lightly.

"Why should I avoid him? He was a perfect gentleman, a good man," Katherine Welcher argued in his defense.
"Good or not, neither matter," Alexander Delcrov warned her, "As long as you're under my wing, you shall behave and listen to my words. Do not let any man kiss you, Katherine. I don’t want others to call you improper."
"There was nothing improper about it! And I'm not yours to obey," she blurted out in annoyance, feeling her face flush with embarrassment for the second time this evening, "I mean, you can't order me aro—-"
"So disobedient," he stated with nonchalance before moving his hand from her waist to her back, pulling her closer to him as they danced.
This novel is very promising. I read Heidi and the Lord first and it was really good. I feel the same for this one. I'm excited to finish this book. The lords are really interesting and captivating characters. You just can't help but fall in love with Lord Alexander and Lord Nicholas. Valerian Empire and Heidi and the Lord are good reads. Definitely worth your time.
It was pretty good for something that was written on Wattpad, the app usually has a lot of writers who are just start out and they usually post chapter by chapter.
I feel that this could something great if the author would consider giving more background into the land the story is set in as a whole and flesh out the character arcs just a bit more. I also think this novel could have had more descriptive language throughout the story.
This book holds a special place in my heart. I thought I was not into vampires until I met Alex and Katie. This is the first ever vampire book I have read and I was glad I gave it a try. Author san has her magical way to make you fall in love with her characters. Must read book and all the other books in her vampire series. Love you author Ash 😀
Second book from the author in a raw. I like how she writte. There is no frivolous things in the books, and a right amount of suspens. Also, I think that the characters' paths are well done. I really enjoyed my time reading this book. Thank you for your work !
I already started reading this in different site and it interest me a lot. I was only in the 14th chapter. The story is so addicted that even I wanted to stop for the day I find my self continue reading till next chapters. The story plot of like this is what I love the most.
I never expected I'd love it so much! This book prompted me to read some hidden gems of a novel in Wattpad, since I used to never rely on that site/app.
It's honestly one of the better books on wattpad/webnovel so I'm rounding it up. Might have enjoyed it more in the past when I had higher tolerance for 'ML with OW(s)' scenes.
