A day in the life of Jaz-ming Devonshire is nothing short of perfect. She has everything she could ever dream a beautiful home, money at her disposal and beauty to get any man she desires. She's even about to attend law school and become a powerful attorney. All that changes, though, when she meets the destitute stick-up kid, Daytona Hedgepeth, by mere happenstance and she is pulled into his world of crime and misery. Daytona is so used to living in poverty, that it has become a way of life for him. He does ends and odds jobs to get by, until his two best friends devise a plan to rob a bank. Daytona sees this as an opportunity to provide for his hard-working but submissive mother, Delilah, his siblings and his nephew. Things seem to be going too well until tragedy strikes his family and he is caught in the world of paper chasing that he can't seem to get out of. With Jaz-ming by his side, Daytona has a few choices to make about his life, a life that could be cut short too soon if he doesn't make the right decision regarding his future.
