Where no hope is left, is left no fear

My familiar brings us word. Another one of my mates has their life on the line with this deadly game with the Hellhounds and the mysterious Prince of Hell. They don’t seem to know Lilith is on our side. We have our secrets too. The game strikes a little too close to home and I’m in a fighting mood. It’s time to fight back. I have this idea I can play the Hellhounds like they’ve been trying to play me. My little game goes a little too far as my angel gifts start appearing when I’m not trying to call them.

My list of allies is growing. The Warlock Council is on our side and Lilith has brought in the Lust Demon Council. We have more Hellhound allies now too. We know who is behind trying to kill my mates. Lilith is not taking the attempt on Keane’s life lightly. She has a plan and all I know about Lilith’s plots is that they are devious and they always work.

We were warned something big was in the works. We all should have taken that a lot more seriously because the Prince has made his move and the people I love are in danger.

-with bonus chapter from Lucifer’s point of view

Not bad

Needs some tidying but otherwise a decent installment to the series. Lots of info happens, we are kept in the dark a lot but honestly not much planning and things happen on the page. The book is entirely told instead of lived with a few select parts. While I’ve adapted to this style I’m not a huge fan of it but I’m invested to see where this goes.

Hayley continues to be a conundrum for me, she’s just not my favorite character by far. At times her behavior is so unbelievable and her abrupt turn on hefty decisions doesn’t work for me. In book 1 she is honestly a whiny brat. Some of that seems to have drifted away in a personality swap, but she’s not grown into someone I like either. It’s wild how easy she took to being supernatural and Satan’s daughter. Perhaps because we don’t see much of her time spent with daddy dearest that created a discontent for me, I just don’t see the connection between them which makes her “love” of her father and fawning over him rather weird. Which brings us to another man in her life, her last harem member who was previously an enemy. Now Hayley thinks he smells like he’s her last mate so she’s super nice and almost begging him to spend time with her. It’s just really weird how overly acceptive she is to all these changes in her life considering she was raised her entire life as a measly human until only two years ago. But we do finally get a bit more plot expansion though as the series prepares to end. The enemy has a name/face and for the life of me I’m struggling remembering him being spoken of before 🤫 I blame my memory. I’m still hating on Hayley honestly, so it’ll be interesting for me to see how she along with her mates will be able to save the world 🤣🤣🤣

I am really enjoying this series and this latest addition sees it all amping up for a battle against a prince of hell but which one? A rollercoaster of emotions, action, drama, suspense, some steamy scenes between Haley and her mates and we do get a few answers.

I cannot understand how this book can have so many positive reviews. To be honest, I didn't finish it but stopped towards the end. I couldn't read it anymore, I felt like it was written for a non-adult or YA audience even though it is classified as Reverse Harem. The situation seems to me to go on forever with the secrecy of Hailey's father and finding the name of the Prince who plans to defeat Lucifer to take over Hell. There is no concrete plot, no clues to be able to figure out who the culprit is, and especially factions that change their minds like people change their clothes. I don't know if it was my version of the book, but I found a lot of grammatical errors and sentences that didn't make any sense, leaving the parts that the author repeated over and over again anyway.

In this part of the story, the relationships between the boys and Hailey seemed superfluous and without any intensity.
I will definitely not read the last book even if it means not knowing who the Prince is or if it is really someone from the Underworld but I can't go on.
See you soon friends,
Isa💫

Before Hayley, her mares and allies can put their plan into motion, betrayal is exposed and family to rescue. This book was a real emtional roller coaster, as Hayley celebrates her last mate, she and her allies are left realing from betrayal! I loved the poetic justice that Reece faced, it was the high light of the book for me, and the betrayal left me feeling desperate for the next book!

The cliffhanger after this book, damn. I am definitely going to be diving into the final book in this series! It's still very fast paced and there are some gaps in the story that left me a little confused but it's an enjoyable read!

I love this book and this series, seriously, but why make a bunch of really short books instant of one complete book? Especially when it’s one overall story and not specific story arcs. Still love the characters and the story but a bit annoyed with a handful of books instead of one.

Finding out it was Mammon was a big suprise. I loved that the mate bonds were all solidified. The spicy parts were hot but this book wasn't just about that it was about the conflict of the rogue prince too.

Blue text

Good story, could definitely benefit from some editing. Also, the text is blue, and there is no option to change it for the reader.

A good easy read

Nothing particularly taxing with these books, there’s no great depth or intrigue but the characters are fun and the storyline is an interesting one.

4.5

I was given this book for free in exchange for an honest review. As I’ve said before, I always give honest reviews whether people appreciate them or not.

All right, if you haven’t read the first two stories of this series yet, go read them first!

This story is during Hayley’s second year at Fortuna Academy. She’s nineteen, has a familiar and now seems to have five soul mates -Keane, Kirnon, Azriel, Colvyn and...Gaius? There are still all the usual characters like Lucifer, Melinda, Lilith and Rhys and she’s still trying to get through school. She and her mates are still trying to find out which of Hell’s Princes is trying to sic hellhounds on her. If you’ve been following the story, and again, if you haven’t go back and read the first two! A-hem. If you’ve been following the story then you know Keane and Gaius don’t really get along. One is a hellcat and the other is a hellhound. Besides that, they are very protective of their mates and it isn’t easy to share their mate.

Gaius didn’t come into this mating easily. His pack hasn’t been very nice to Hayley in general, and his leader only seems to care who her father is. Rhys, is being his usual sleaze bag self and Gaius thinks he’s going to try to take out one of the men always around Hayley. Gaius really proves himself to Hayley, the mates and us the readers here. Now that he is working with Hayley and her mates, they are slowly finding at least some information about what’s going on with the hellhounds and Rhys’ pack. Can I just say Rhys and his father are complete asshats.

This is the third story in the Fortuna Academy series. This is a very intense story and I couldn’t put it down! I think my favorite character is actually Lilith, but Hayley and her family (including all her mates) are pretty awesome too. While I was so pleased and excited that this book was released so much sooner than I expected, I thought Ms. Trepagnier might have rushed it a bit. It’s still an excellent story, we do find out who the ‘Bad Guy’ Prince is and we even get a bonus chapter! Now I really can’t wait for the next book!

Book 3 starts off with a bang...

The twists and turns from the previous stories continue in this beautifully created world.

Hayley has found the prophecy and finally recognised Gaius is her fifth mate (at the end of book 2)... The only problem for her, at the start of book 3, is no-one wants him to be...not even them (at times). As the saying always goes the course of love does not always run smoothly... Hayley does keep trying with him. Meanwhile, Gaius makes inroads following his own instincts and overcoming their iffy start and her protective mates to begin to bond with everyone in Hayley's world including Hayley.

Hayley and all her mates are slowly gaining allies, strengthening their own relationships with eachother and create some HOT moments...while trying to uncover who is after her father!

Hayley's familiar Kerrigan is fabulous with Intel, support, advice and cryptic knowledge.

Hayley and co finally learn for sure who poisoned Keane but when someone goes after Colvyn all bets are off. Lilith must step in to assist the healing but then creates further risky plans for Hayley. Hayley is totally on board but as usual Hayley's protective stubborn mates are not happy about... which proves to be with good reason. however on the plus side this does help her tap into some must needed powers.

The multiple POV enhances the story and creates a unique experience.

The story rolls out with increasing pace, twists and changes culminating in the most epic Cliff hanger ending...roll on book 4!!!

Such a fantastic well written story.
Great action and paranormal filled plot and story line.
Characters are well fleshed out and have enjoyed reading and following them throughout.
Hot romance involved with all that is going on.
Recommend reading.
