A gripping story
This book hooked me from the first page itself. The story is full of magic, danger and we'll written characters. The world building is on point. You can literally imagine how Cantamen would look like. I loved the description of birds and how different it is from earth.
Abby, the main character, is a super sweet girl who has just recently discovered about her magical powers. But there were times that made me feel super frustrated when she won't stand up for herself.
Coming to the plot, it's well thought through and the story has Harry Potter type vibes. I loved how mysteries unfolded, it added so much of flavour to the story.
