This was an absolutely terrifying series. Was a lot more like reading an extreme horror than a dark romance. There where romance between people but to me, I just couldn't see the romantic. However it was intense in Horror and thriller element and was so hooked on the series as I desperately wanted some of them to have a happy ending. One of the books (series) that have freaked me out the most.

Sorry....After the terrible first book I had thought that the second might be a bit better but no, it just isn't.....sorry.

Badly written, bad grammar, no punctuation, weak story and really really poorly written scenes. Clearly this book has not been edited at all, and at times sounds like a juvenile has written it. I have never shouted out at a book because of the stupidity of the writing, but alas with this one I did. Spoilers ahead...

Where do I start with this car crash of a story? Is it the part where people fall in desperate love after knowing each other for one day? Or where Maddison walks into her sisters house calling out her name knowing there is something not quite right, or where there is so much going on in the house that NONE of the neighbours hear anything, even after a gun is shot, or maybe it might be where Jake attempts to take the car full of money only to find a baby looking at him, A BABY that has been sitting all alone for HOURS and not making a sound..... good grief this was so so bad. This book was not AT ALL what I would call a RH or a Bully Romance, it's just a story very badly written with some "shock" factors to try and make it interesting, which I must say I found laughable. What was the point of making Porcha and Tyler brother and sister? What? Next thing we'll probably be told that Porcha was really a baby stolen from her real family by the druggie she thought was her mother, making it OK for her and Tyler to be together, seriously, I wouldn't put anything past this author.

The storyline had some credence if it had been written correctly and with the right kind of research, but this writing was just poor.

I tried, I really really did, but just no, it's not good at all. You want to read some seriously great authors then maybe try people like Sophie Lark, Sierra Simone, Nyla K, Amelia Hutchins, Stephanie Hutson etc who's stories are well research and fantastically written but this author, no, I'm sorry but no.

Wynter did not disappoint me at all with this follow up to the first book - it’s just as dark and even more twisted than the first! This has trigger warnings for a reason, so don’t ignore them.
After finishing the first, I just had to hop into the second book and holy Hades…it starts off nice but takes a sharp left turn to sick vengeance land in a heartbeat. Wynter sank her claws in me again as I became glued to my kindle once again. The suspense and horrific events unfold at a terrifying pace that kept my heart in my throat, add in the shocking twists at the end and Wynter left me slack jawed once again! This is one of those rare reads that made me uncomfortable yet I want more of it. The characters are unforgettable, the villains are terrifying and the story itself is a nightmare that will haunt dreams. Wynter definitely nailed the erotic horror genre with this series and I hope this isn’t the end of it.

This book was more disturbing than the first one. Really check TWs.

We continued the story after a peaceful year passed. Now it wasn't peaceful anymore.

The demons came back to haunt our lovebirds again.

Loved the character development from Tyler.

There was again heavy non con. Spiced with a bit of unknown incest and we have a delicious soup.

Should I like this? Probably not. Do I like it? Yes. I don't know why, because at first it started rocky then it pulled me in.

I am waiting for the last book. I have hope that the characters find happiness.

4.5⭐️ rounded up to 5⭐️

I liked this one better than the first one. I felt like there was more of a storyline. It kept me on the edge of my seat at times. There was so much going on in this book. Some twists I definitely didn’t see coming. One part had me gasp. I literally had my hand over my mouth because I couldn’t believe what just happened. I didn’t know it would end on a somewhat cliffhanger, but I’m ready for book 3!

Plot twist after plot twist!!
The more I read the more intrigued I was. When you think you know what’s going to happen next you just get smacked in the face with something new.

So many thoughts, I jotted a few down whilst reading...

"Cough cough" "ahhhh, I screamed"
Wynter girly. Really? You need an alpha reading or someone who will guide you. I also had to giggle at "back to Porsha's POV" like it was some some sort of manuscript.

The use of the terms "vagina juice" or just "juices". Ick.

These girls fall far too quickly for the men who hold them captive. Porsha practically forced herself upon the one man who wasn't raping her.

51% in and we have a gun in her vagina. I ain't enjoying this reread of haunting adeline... wait... hold on!

A baby was left in the car for what, 2 days?!

Now we've got a brother and sister finding out they are related after shagging non stop for how long and their reactions being THAT!? To then carry on and keep it a secret. What in the Ala-fucking-bama was that?

Far too many POV jumps, a poorly written storyline and I feel like it was not edited at all.

What a load of shite, can't believe some people are rating this 5⭐️. I'm not gonna yuck someone else's yum but I don't think I read the same story as those people.

💀 Knock Knock: Twist of Fate 💀

First thing I need to say about this book is please check the triggers!

I just don’t even know where to start 🤦🏻‍♀️

I feel like the second book had so much more potential and there were so many ways it could have gone…but falling in love with the man who r*ped your adoptive sister who also turns out to be your biological brother is not what I saw happening. Especially when she fell in love within minutes…

A handful of America’s Most Wanted on the run, moving about so freely, making so much noise in a neighbourhood. I tried, I really tried. I’m so disappointed because they looked so good.

I’ve gone with my rating because I liked the few twists that were in this one and how things ended.

Check the Trigger warnings!!!

Make sure you check the trigger warnings before you read this book!!

Knock Knock II - Twist of Fate starts nearly a year after the events in Knock Knock and our FMC this time is Maddison's sister Porsha.

This book is just as dark as the first book only this time Jake and Tyler are released from prison thanks to Robert, the man who murdered Raven's family, and the three of them take Porsha hostage in order to get Maddison and Raven to give up the reward money she received for turning them in in the first book.

There are once again multiple rape scenes 8n this book as well as a couple of twists near the end that I wasn't expecting.

It also leaves things open for a third book, which I am really hoping for because I would love to see what comes next for Jake.

I had literally just read “Knock Knock” (book one) two nights ago and moved on to book two straight away! Lol
I absolutely loved booked two just as much… no, more! I loved the different POV’s of ALL the characters this time!! After I had read the first, then found out there was a second, I thought: what could possibly happen now after the first wild ride?!
Man, was I in for a surprise! I did not see any of that coming! The devil was indeed at the door this time! That man is the definition of evil. And the twist at the end??!! Omg! And that wasn’t even the end! Of course, there’s a cliffhanger! Wynter Adams, I don’t know where you came up with this, but don’t stop!! 🤣 absolutely mind-blowing, and I highly recommend!!!

Not sure how I feel

This book was pretty good for the most part, there's a lot of mistakes though. I don't think I will be reading anymore books by this author. Don't get me wrong it was pretty good but not the best. This author also needs to learn what reverse harem means just because the MFC gets raped by more than one character doesn't mean it's a reverse harem book. This book has all the dark and twisted that one love in a book I just didn't feel it like I do with most dark books.

Thought this was a reverse harem series? Now it seems like even tho all 3 guys 🍇'ed her in book 1, only for her to end up with just one of them by the end of book 1. Then 2 of the guys that 🍇'ed her in book 1 are now doing it to her sister? And now one of them likes her sister?? Literally what's next? Clearly if there is a book 3 it will be about last MMC except with some other chick that he will 🍇...most likely. So this is in no way a reverse harem..no offense Wynter 😳. Was a DNF. I'm all for TW ect as long as it ends in HEA..but what HEA was here just wasn't believable for me.

Wow!!!

I think I’m going to need therapy after reading both book 1 and 2. Winter Adams completely erases the lines dividing good and evil and creates a whole new darkness with Knock Knock book 2. Trigger warnings are definitely needed and make sure your doors are locked. It’s a wild ride though…I read book 2 in one sitting…I couldn’t put it down!! Now excuse me while I make that therapy appointment.

Part two

This book follows on from book one. It’s again pitch black and not for the faint hearted as the fmc gets out thru the wringer. It’s not a big read it was an easy read. You get to find out what happens to the fmc in this book after her exit in book one. More layers unwrapped more secrets revealed. The ending to this book though had me confused? Is there another book coming or is that it?

OMG!!!!!

These 2 books are like anything I’ve ever read! Omg 😳 this is CRAZY. These characters are INSANE!!! Everything that happens to all of them, I cannot put words to it. I just finished book 2 and I’m sooo in shock to have read what I read. Porsha and Tyler… omg…no words!!! Wynter Adams, my God, you are just brilliant.

Well written

I gave book 1 4 stars as it's written so well. This one got 3, only because it's so well written. Subject matter is different. As I said in the book 1's review, I wouldn't recommend this book due to subject matter. But I really do respect the author, it's so well written, her imagination is limitless.

So many twists and turns

Oh my freaking gods! This was, ...I don't even have words. The characters were well written, the danger, depravity and the twist at the end...expertly written. So much treacherous plans and secrets. Everyone has there own wicked agendas. All starting with a knock on the door. You need a strong stomach for this one. Reviewed by Who She Reads.

SO MANY EMOTIONS

Book one had me in tears… book two had me in nearly a panic attack. Just like book one… beware of the trigger warnings! It definitely is pretty wicked. Books like this take a special kind of person to write! And Wynter Adams has an amazing way with words and takes you deep into a crazy ass rabbit hole with the Knock Knock series for sure.

An Absolute Mindf*ck

If I have a dime for every time I said to myself “the f*ck?” while reading this…

I’m completely dazed after reading this. The level of taboo content is through the roof. Then the ending was like a copycat attempt of an M. Night Shyamalan plot twist.

Ultimately, I feel like I shouldn’t tell people I’ve read this…

Jumped straight into book two, this one is alot darker a few t/w and one hell of a taboo part, which me personally had to skip over to the next person POV, I give it a 3 stars ***

But wow…. This book was on another level . I loved how there was multiple povs so you got to see how each character was feeling / thinking in the moment.

I’m hoping there’s a third book *fingers crossed*

No edited

Book is like it didn't go to the editor. Head off so much I bet I could read the book. Formatting again bother me so much I can barely read the book. Book one was really good, and book two was lousy.

Knock, Knock.....so the ending, is that a cliffhanger?? This was a crazy ride and I'm glad they kind of redeemed themselves in their own selfless ways. I don't want to give to much away, but sometimes you want to yell at these characters to use common sense. Enjoyed the read regardless.

Twist of Fate

Insane characters, not for the faint hearted. Unfortunately for me it was not as good as the first book, too many unrealistic events and the amount of POVs detracted from the story somewhat. That being said, it has a brilliant twist at the end.

Well then!

I read this immediately after finishing the first one and I was so pleased with how this one was also dark and messed up. I honestly hope to see more come from this group in the future and for it to pick up where this one leaves off.
