When he goes onto stage in heat, it’s clear he needs a Daddy. But that’s not all he gets the night he meets an older man with fading blue hair and a leather riding jacket. This Daddy already has a boy, and that boy wants to play with Gray too. In fact, the boy might be even more wild than Gray.
The three men just want to have fun, but somewhere along the way that fun becomes more complicated. For the first time in Gray’s life, he might be okay with that. Especially when an unexpected surprise changes everything.
Fairy Daddy is the story of three men who find their happily ever after together without needing to tame their wild hearts. It’s set in the same omegaverse as the Heron Manor series, but stands alone.
So, I only added this book because of the cover … 😋 Let’s say this was unique. I think this will not be for everyone. And I only loved parts of it, sadly. For sure, I will never be able to watch penguins and puffins on TV normally again ... OMG ... 😳
Chris, Revv and Gray were absolutely beautiful. Their personalities connected wonderfully. The relationship grew natural and not rushed. They have compassion, heart and understanding, perfectly for the poly relationship. The sex was exceptionally dirty.
Penguin shifter knots aren’t like bear or wolf shifter knots. They don’t just swell at the base. They swell everywhere. 🤤
Well, and I could have done without the rest. I couldn't stand the lectures and constant reminders of how a poly relationship works properly or a Dom/sub relationship. It just interfered with the romantic parts of the story. The open relationship thing is not for me. The sharing was hot at first, but then got boring and I hate that the focus wasn't solely on the three characters. I love poly, harem, reverse harem, but I think I need a limitation for the people in love. So, it's me, not the book. Well and what I found absolutely annoying is the fact that the cover is completely misleading. Unfortunately, there is no focus on the Daddy/boy relationship, I would have hoped for more and also this beautiful blue-bearded man on the cover, whose image perfectly fits Daddy Chris, unfortunately has so little profound plot content that I could not satisfy my fascination with it. 😭😭😭
Loved this! The detailed mating habits of all types of shifters was fascinating, and I loved watching the triad’s relationship develop as they explored along their road trip. Sweet, emotionally horny, and top notch communication.

Look, it was a good book. I really loved this triad. What I didn’t like was the abrupt HFN that was thrown at us with a cliffhanger vibe regarding a certain story arc. It’s like getting it on and then someone interrupting juuussstt when it’s about to get good. Grrr.
Chris, Revv and Gray were so beautiful together. Their personalities meshed so wonderfully. Though their meeting is under some other than normal circumstances, they all feel the pull to one another. The relationship grew in a way that felt natural and not rushed. I just wanted to read more and more with them.
Amy Bellows knows how to write a fantastic scene. And there are several here that will scorch the pages as you read them. But even with all the sexy scenes, you still felt the pull that these three had. I was engaged and didn’t want to put the book down.
And then Bellows ripped the rug right out from under me. I didn’t appreciate that. Did I hate the abrupt ending? Yep. Sure did. Will I read the next one? Absolutely. I just wish I had known going in that this was a HFN.
Wow , wow , wow and wow , Fairy Daddy is a Volcano Lava - level of hot , kinky , funny , hurt/comfort , low angst , emotional and very entertaining MM polyamory , shifter romance like no other.
Fairy Daddy is set in the rich, layered , very detailed and unique worlds building Amy Bellows created and continue expanding in her Heron Manor and Pebble Gifters Series. That said, this book is a complete standalone. I should add, this story has HFN -happy for now- ending . It's sweet and satisfactory.
Per the author , the storyline and HEA - happy ever after - ending it set to continue in book 2 , coming out on February 2022.
Not only was this book super hot (opens on a hot AF group scene), but it’s super sweet. It does an amazing job at talking about open relationships and poly relationships in a way I’ve never seen in a book before, and it really helps you see the love that these characters have to share with not only each other, but other people in their lives they’ve met and loved along the way. It was such a fun read!
This could have been a 5 star story, even with the editing errors, if only it didn't end the way it did.
I mean you have a triad, a daddy, omegas, and maybe a pregnancy which would involve an egg if you go by the other books.
But to end it with "eh, here you can have my pebble to stay with us" and that's it until the next book comes out.
My other quibble was the whole non ending poly instructional speeches. Don't get me wrong, I strongly believe in it and am glad for good representation, but this was more like a how to be poly book and less on the whole romance part. I think it would have been less noticable if there were more romance amongst the three and not so focused on them being with others. It would have felt more normal to allow them to grow as themselves first, then put in the other people like Jack for example in the next book. But that's just my opinion.
Lots of sex in this one, but it is a romance amongst likeable poly people. ( I’m guessing this is normal for this author)
Bellows has created a world full of different shifter communities with different norms and mating customs. Penguin shifters give their true mates pebbles! It’s so sweet!
I enjoyed the world she has built as much as the romance arc. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.
One thing I've always appreciated about Amy Bellows books is that even if the book doesn't happen to be my favorite, I'm going to get a unique experience that pushes my boundaries.
3.5 stars. We have Chris & Revv who are in an open Daddy/boy relationship. Normally I don't like open relationships because there can be all kinds of misunderstandings & jealousy. It works for them, but it doesn't really work for me. In the beginning it didn't bother me, but once they realize that Gray is their third & they get closer, the more I didn't like it. But again, for them it worked. We get to meet all kinds of shifters including buffalo shifters, who are new to me. They do come with a lot of baggage & things are not fully resolved in the end but we do have a pretty strong HFN. The sex was off the charts in this one.
I rec'd a copy of this book from the author and this is my honest review.
🎧 Narrated Lance West a first time with this narrator which was good with the 3 characters vocals. 4 stars . 📘 3.5 stars. A good start as Trouble gets exactly what he wants in his final dance. Chris and Revv are in a relationship and in the stages of cementing it in their penguin pebble ceremony. Feelings get complicated especially on a limited time frame but things progress fast for the mmm romance. A good story but I couldn't get a feel for this book. This ends in a HFN cliffhanger to the next book in 2022. This is a open poly relationship with others.
Gray was trouble going on stage while he was in heat. A hot display and he definitely attracts men in what would be his final performance. Gray, Daddy aka Chris and Revv have a really hot time. includes knotting, DP, exhibition, angst and emotions, 3 povs for the polar bear and penguin shifters Alpha and omegas. mpreg meantioned.
This is the first time I've listened to this narrator and I was impressed at the depth of feeling that they managed to put into the reading of the story. Each of the characters were easily defined. They were easy to listen to meaning I could quickly become absorbed in the story. The story was fast paced and raunchy from the outset. Revv and Chris/Daddy/Sir are both poly and have an open relationship. They each have secondary relationships but this doesn't affect their bond. They are so sweet together. It was easy to see the difference in the way they each treated Gray that there was something more there. Gray though, has been hurt and is reluctant to jump into something that big. As is important in poly relationships, there is a lot of communication, but it was organic here. They experience a lot of different kinks, D/s, exhibitionism, DP etc and there is on page sex with other partners, not just between the triad. It was steamy, fun and since it was a HFN, I'm absolutely looking out for the next one
Holy moly!! I loved this. Gray is trouble with a capital T from the very beginning of the story! Chris is a Daddy to Revv, an omega and they are in an open poly relationship that works for them. Gray is also an omega and had been hurt before so he tends to stick with one and done. This was carnal in the best way, sexy, hot and steamy!! But it's also full of sweetness. This story gripped me, engaged me, it didn’t let me go! I was given the opportunity to listen to the audio version also. This was my first time listening to Lance West, he did a fantastic job overall with the narration, the voices were clear and distinct. Overall, fantastic! The story was really well written, the pacing was perfect, highly recommend. I’m voluntarily reviewing from an advanced copy that I received. My review is solely based on my thoughts and opinions.
OMG, what a fantastic book! I love it! Fairy penguin shifters on motorcycles, a polar bear shifter stripper in heat... on stage, group sex, and that's just the first chapters! This is one non- stop, sexy romp. Chris and his boy Revv have a great Daddy/boy relationship. It's an open one. But until they meet Gray, they aren't complete. Come join them as they find out what makes a relationship really work. As the three of them explore their kinks and each other, the emotions run wild. This wild ride includes buffalo shifters in rut, puffin things, the most unique take on Pebble Gifting Season, and a Pebble you never saw coming. Yes, everyone has baggage & past trauma. But these men are filled with compassion, heart, and understanding. In the end, they find that HEA is not only assured, but what you want it to be. You are absolutely gonna love this book! Get. It. Now! This book contains adult themes and language, mm+++sex, and is intended for mature readers only.
so much fun.. this was sexy and interesting.. well written and curious.. kept me guessing.. and at times i had to google some stuff haha.. it was a lot of fun and made me giggle.. it made me happy to read and i cant wait to read the next one.
I thought Gray, Chris, and Revv were an interesting combination of people. I enjoyed that there was a lot of communication between the three, even though there were a few minor blips along the way, and that they worked through any issues without going off to sulk. I can’t wait to see what the next book brings with the surprise that happened in this story.
What starts out as an kinky orgy of shifters, turns into a kinky romance between three very different characters. Revv and Chris are fairy penguin shifters, and Gray is a polar bear. The world building with the different mating cultures was really interesting. I loved all three together. It was a HFN with more of their story to come in the next book. Only reason it didn’t make 5 star, I was disappointed we never saw them in their shifted forms.
Enjoyed this. Loved the introductory TW. I was not as bummed as I would have expected that it is to be continued ...guess there was enough of a HFN that I could go on with my life.
Fuck first, ask questions later 🔥 I clicked play on the audiobook on my way to work… I arrived squirming, sweaty, and inappropriately horny for a Wednesday morning at the office. 👀🔥 I think twice before starting an omegaverse book/fic because I'm not a big fan of dub-con to say it mildly. So imagine my utter delight when within 15 min of the story I got explicit consent, safeword talk, and even condoms! So I'm hooked. I will continue listening during a squirm-appropriate time (lunch break probably lol) Hooked and completely in love with the characters, I finished listening within 2 days!
Once every so often, I happen to read a book that I KNOW will be a gateway drug for the genre. I’ve read MMM and poly stories before but I was never enthralled by one enough to seek out more in the genre. Well, that changed with Fairy Daddy.
The story’s poly dynamic is believable, portrayed in a way that shows how compatible the three men are together and how each has a special place in the triad while at the same time making them equal. These three worked together so well, I was rooting for them from the very start. Penguin and polar bear shifters, among other ones you don’t see in every shifter book, had their own rituals, mating traditions, etc that were weaved into the book organically, without info-dumping. I received an audio code in exchange for an honest review and I’m so happy I had a chance to listen to a book I may not have picked up on my own. The writing flowed so well with the story and dialogue, I will be checking out more books from this, new to me, author!
I loved everything about this lovely story from the cover picture on. The only thing I didn’t like was that it ended too soon. There is going to be a second book so I forgive Amy Bellows. I remember when this series started and thinking that I wasn’t really interested in reading about penguin shifters. It just goes to show that it’s the quality of the writing that is that most important thing. You can definitely read this book without having read any of the other books but I must say that I feel like I have been on a journey throughout northern shifter society with these books and it has been a lot of fun reading about the traditions that Ms. Bellows has come up with. She has taken the natures of the creatures and added in northern cultures sprinkled in some BDSM and produced a series where I wait anxiously for the next book.
This author really isn’t for me. This is the 3rd book I’ve tried and I have DNF them all.
DNF @15%. This is just porn without plot. I am all about poly relationships (I am poly myself) and MMM+ books and God knows what else, but this one just… meh. All the Doms sound the same and Revv and Trouble are a copy paste of each other.
This story definitely left me wanting more of Gray, Rev and Chris in a good way. They truly fit together well. I love how they treat each other from the start and I would love to see where they progress to in their relationship.
Character Chemistry: Heart eyes is pretty much the only goal here
Plot: These societies are stuck with some pretty hurtful cultural norms, and our MCs start to change all that.
Overall: It starts out all, “Awwww” with heart eyes, and then you’re already sucked in and, like, these societies are very oppressive. Good for our MCs for living their best lives anyway.
(just…really poly with a legit polycule)
It features two fairy penguins and a polar bear shifter who meet and end up residing in Anchorage. Book one, Fairy Daddy is basically just a ton of kinky fuckery. Chris and Revv are a poly couple on vacation and they start something with Gray, who starts out solo poly but after joining the couple’s vacation wants more. I found this duology particularly interesting because it is this super kinky omegaverse fantasy with shifters, but it’s also the most unabashedly well-considered poly romance I’ve read.
Fairy Daddy Series: Riding Home, Book 1 By: Amy Bellows Narrated by: Lance West
I enjoyed this sweet and spicy paranormal fantasy romance immensely, I loved the uniqueness and originality of the story, it grabbed my attention right from the start and captivating it the entire book. Amy Bellows is a gifted author with wonderful writing style and a brilliantly creative and imaginative mind. She created a fascinating world with equally fascinating characters, a variety of paranormal shifters that are interesting, easy to relate to and connect with, they even face issues and feelings that parallel those that an ordinary human beings face in the real world. Chris and Revv are in a relationship, it is a Daddy/boy relationship, they are polyamorous, so it an open relationship. Chris, a fairy penguin shifter and a Daddy who takes care of Revv and for his birthday he is taking him on a trip with some adventurous stops along the way including stopping at a club and purchasing him with a private time with a dancer who is in heat and looking for action. Gray, stage name Trouble, is in heat and desperately needs to be filled, taking on private clients should help with that. He was not only left satisfied but clicked with a Daddy and his boy, Chris and Revv, they were interested in spending more time with him but Gray was hesitant, he had an awful experience being a third in an already established relationship. But he gave it a try and joined them on their trip and adventure to visit different shifter cultures. Not only was it a steamy adventure, but the three got to know each other better, sharing their wants and needs, Gray explained his past heartbreaks, both Revv and Chris were understanding and saw him, really saw him they just needed him to know they are not his exes. I loved how everything played out in this book, it is a fast moving and wonderfully plotted story that has the perfect balance of drama, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance and scenes. Amy Bellows, thank you for another fabulously steamy story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Lance West did an amazing job bringing these characters to life, humanizing them, giving each their own distinct voice and personality, making it easy to follow along and tell who is how. He had a complete understanding of the characters he portrayed, taking each role and making it his own. He set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and projected them into his performance. Lance West is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for fabulous listen.
I think this is the first ever truly polyamorous book I've read. Others were more reverse harem/omegaverse with inter-relationships but this one was fully polyamorous.
I felt the book was a bit too long. Towards the end I was like Gray needs to get over himself, he's now starting to become a broken record with his past relationship fears dictating his relationship with Revv+Chris.
Then, I understand why A.B. selected the "big conflict" issue that they had, but for some reason it didn't really work for me because it was honestly nothing new but more of Gray reliving his trauma, only now he had understanding, communicative partners there to help him face it.
I think I would have liked it more if they faced an outside issue that brought into question where they each actually stand, in their placing, within their relationship because when it comes down to it, that's Gray biggest fear.
My absolute, 100% favourite part of the book? The communication! Like even when Gray went to Mario for advise, it was straight 100% okay, let me have it, but see this is where I'm at and come on be real, here is where you are even if you don't want to say what is what. So that was refreshing.
I also liked the fact that the shifter mating rituals, or rather the penguin ones, were actually based on what happens in real life.
In short, it was a good book. However, it ends in a HFN and I just wasn't feeling a need for a book 2 for the couple.
