Single mother Isobel Sinclair had made a lot of stupid decisions in her life. But the dumbest one had to be moving the body of a murdered man from the beach outside her house.

What could she say? She panicked.

And then she called her three sisters, who helped by panicking right along with her. Things just went downhill from there—as they usually did when the Sinclair sisters got together—until it seemed like a great idea to store the body in her freezer. Because, what else would you do with a body you found on a remote Scottish beach? Sure, she could have called the police, but that would mean having to explain some other stuff they really didn’t need to know. Plus, what would happen if they arrested her? Who would look after her kids if she went to jail? Okay, probably her sisters, but considering they were the ones who thought turning a dead guy into a popsicle was a great idea, she wasn’t too sure she could trust them with impressionable young minds.

Which led her to her latest dumb decision.

She reasoned that an ex-military man would know what to do with the body—after all, war meant bodies, right? And it just so happened that her town’s latest resident was a grumpy, reclusive, ex-soldier. Now all she had to do was gather her courage to ask him for help. Which is how she ended up on the doorstep of the scariest—and sexiest—man she’d ever met.

I'm not going to lie, I have a mad writer crush on Janet Elizabeth Henderson. She manages to take serious subjects and infuse them into stories with a lot of laughs and heart. This time around it's a former soldier's limb loss. We met Callum in the first two Benson's Boys, and while I had some hope of he and Rachel hate fucking their way to ever after, it turns out JEH thought Callum deserved the happily part. Fair enough. His heroine, Isobel, is his opposite in a lot of ways. She's not very sensible and she's over her head in trouble, but she is brave and affectionate. Their mutual attraction combusts early on, but the real meat of the story is them trying to figure out if that attraction can become an actual relationship. Add in three cool sisters, two cool kids, and my favorite London security team, and we have a romantic suspense of epic proportions. You CAN read this one as a standalone - but why would you want to? The first two are amazing. Read this book. Read this series. Read the Invertary books. You'll be glad you did.

Funny

I can’t lie and say I wasn’t hoping for more at the end but it was funny. The story line felt more rushed than the others but probably because I would have liked to have had more

Sigh. It had to end.

This was an awesome story. It's a good thing I work from home because I couldn't put it down, and read it in one day. Single mother in distress, crazy sisters, threatening henchmen, really, really bad guys, burgeoning romances, and one handsome hunk of a hero who makes everything turn out all right...with the help of his team, of course. LOVED IT!! The only bad part about the book was it had to end. I can't wait for the next installment.

I wasnt looking forward to this one as I thought broody self pitying Callum would be annoying but wanted to read them in order so I started it and boy was I wrong. It was my favourite so far. These just get better with each book in the series. I loved it. I was immediately captivated. Isobel and her sisters were hilarious. And Callum and Isobel were hot and funny together. Sophie was adorable and I am a little bit in love with Jack.

I’ve completed the Invertary and Benson Security series and I have to say out of all of them Rage was my absolute favorite! Callum’s character is one of the best developed characters Janet has wrote yet. From meeting him in the Invertary books all the way up to the end of the Benson series I loved him. His grumpy badass attitude is perfectly lined up with the background of his character.

This book keeps you wanting to read non-stop from the moment you read the first page. The supporting characters like Jack and Sophie bring a light-hearted ness to many of the high stress Scenarios. While Isobel the main girl keeps you laughing at her one-tracked mind.

I don’t want to give anything away about this story but I will say this has been one I’ve been telling to add to there “to read” list. You won’t be disappointed.

I enjoyed this book soooo sooooo much! From the first book on in this series, I wanted to know Callums Story. Janet delivered a fantastic, suspenseful but also very funny story. I loved the part where Cal told Isobel his secret..... and her reaction.... Wonderfully written! Mrs. Henderson has an unique humor. Can't wait for Elle and Davids book. Or will Rachel and Ryan follow????

Awesome

Isobel Sinclair isn't your typical mother. She finds herself constantly making impulse decisions when is comes to men, and risky decisions when it comes to providing for her child. Isobel needs money and a lot of it to pay off a loan shark her ex husband owes. When an opportunity arrives in the form of high end camera equipment and a dead body Isobel jumps on that train ride and starts her wild and crazy ride filled with heart pounding danger, and knee slapping hilarity. Callum McKay is ex military. After a mission went wrong he decided to hide out in Scotland and have himself a good old fashioned pitty party. Callum had decided that since he a prostatic legs he was less than a man he was useless. His world was totally turned upside down when Isobel Sinclair asked him to help her get rid of a body. Rage has to be one of the funniest heart felt book that I've read. The writer totally entertains the read and captures your attention from page one, and always leaves you wanting. An absolute page Turner!🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

So so so good.

Wonderful addition to a very strong series. We keep our team from the first two books (plus our Invertarians) and add Isobel and her wonderfully crazy, loving family. Callum has quit Benson Security, taken off to his family homestead and tried to drink away his rage and disappointment over the last mission where he felt his disability hindered his team. Isobel has been unlucky in love to say the least. Pregnant and abandoned at 15 she raised her son Jack by herself, then settled into a marriage with a con man who left her with a beautiful daughter Sophie and a boat ton of illicit debt from his criminal activities. Now a seedy and creepy loan shark is trying to recoup his losses and entrap Isobel into sexual servitude. When mysterious going ons behind her house lead to a corpse and a bag of high tech gadgets she is forced to seek out Callum for help. The writing is strong, the characters vivid and likable, the relationships resonate with truth and honesty. I love this author and this series. I cannot wait for the next book.

What a fabulous book! Finally Callum gets his Hea and falls in love! But true Callum style nothing is easy for this man. I think I felt so much for this character because of him being disabled by an ied while fighting for his country and freedom! What our soldier's go through defending us and then being submerged back to a civilian has got to be extremely emotionally and physically draining! Add in a body changing injury and damn the mind freak that is, horrible and heartbreaking! This story has all the quirky characters from previous books as well as action, romance and true love. With all the Benson security men they are alpha and possessive when they find their better halves! Recommend reading in order and start with the invertary books first they build on each other with cross over characters but individual storylines!
4.5 Scottish stars!!!

I'd been looking forward to Callum's story so much, and I was *not* disappointed.

I'm usually not a big fan of the 'single mother damsel in distress' storyline, but here it fit perfectly into the 'damaged Superman' thing Callum has going on (which I'm usually also not a big fan of, because of ALL THE DRAMA).

Still, the author manages to weave these serious subjects into a story that is - true to her previous work - at times laugh-out-loud funny and has me rooting for everyone involved, main and supporting characters alike.

I really loved the cast of characters, both the usual suspects and new additions.
Now I'm looking forward not only to more Benson's Boys (and Girls :) ) stories, but also to the tales of the other Sinclair sisters. :)

I don't like action in books because I think it's too difficult for me to read but this book changed it for me it has right quantity of action that I can read and enjoy now coming to the romance part I loved it I mean am in love with callum and isobel they were perfect for each other I was really intrigued with callum's character since Joe and Julia's book which was also my first book from this author and so far I am enjoying this series . My favorite part was their banter I didn't even giggle I laughed my heart out full laughter with sound although I still wish that I could read about them a little more when they are not running to save their lives and I am really excited for elle's book.

Simply the best

I keep returning to this book again and again for the connection between characters, LOL moments, heat and action aspects. Benson security sites is one of the best and this book is one of the best in the series. Knowing the H/ Callum's struggles with PTSD and feeling helpless from the previous book showed depth, his despair, and growth through his grief creating heartfelt moments. LOL, it helps when u have a quirky beautiful and loving woman help. Her two children, who are deeply a part of the storyline help make this an incredible read. After reading this for the umpteenth time, I needed to finally write this review.

Some steam

I read this book as a follow-up to Can't Tie Me Down! to see what happens to Isobel, the eldest sibling in the Sinclair family. And stumbled into the Benson Security series...

I enjoy this Author's books - light, easy reads, romance, with heart. This book adds mystery and intrigue, plus more about the Sinclair siblings - nothing to disappoint here!

I'd give it more stars if I could. Henderson is a new to me author. I read the first two books in this series and liked them a lot, so I knew I'd read the rest. I just finished Rage, the third book in the series . I loved it! Seriously loved it. Great book. Sexy, action packed, so funny in parts. The Benson security team is great and it was so fun to see Callum get his happy ever after. I'll be reading the rest of the series and I'm sure I'll like them as well. But it's going to be hard to beat this one. Wonderful book.

Loved the storyline!!!

This one was fun and filled with sexy happenings. Which you're obviously looking for if you're reading a rom com book. I really liked Callum's character and I LOVE the other stories Janet is setting up. Elle and David, anyone? Are Ryan and Rachel going to happen? I know she's writing about Isobel's sisters next but I can't wait for more of Benson's Boys!!! Also, I loved the various references to Invertary characters too!

Well worth the wait!!!

Loved the Hero. He was grumpy with his team, but the heroine and her family brought out the best in him. It made me laugh out loud (even on the train to work). She was a perfect fit for a man feeling unsure of himself because he had lost his legs. The scene where he showed her his prosthetics was the best reveal that I have ever read. Her reaction was perfect for him. I cannot wait for the next book (any wait is too long).

Janet Elizabeth Henderson stretches her talent to the mysteries of the security firm created by Lake Benson in her Invertary series books and has created a series of nail-biting stories I could not put down but infused at the same time with the chuckle-out-loud humour of the first series. You’ll love the characters, some new and some cross-over. A great read, over and over again.

I was introduced to this author through her delightful Inventary series. The Benson Security series stems from there. While it is no less delightful, it brings a new element of excitement. I was prepared but I wasn't ready. This book had lust, laughter, spies, grenades and hand to hand combat. I look forward to the next book in the series.

There were some minor spelling/editing errors.

My favorite hero...

Callum thinks he's only half a man after losing his legs in Afghanistan, but to Isobel he's the perfect hero. I totally enjoyed "Rage" but I have yet to read a Janet Elizabeth Henderson book I don't love.

I do enjoy her flawed and real characters. I’m enjoying the series. Sometimes I read a book then have to read other authors before coming back. With this series, I read them back-to-back. Must mean something...

This book is one of a kind. I was little turned off by Isobel in the beginning. But it worked its self out in the end. She came off as clueless & immature but it definitely worked for Callum & her together. It was steamy, funny, & with some action packed moments in & out of the bedroom.

Great!

This was an excellent and fun read. All of the characters were so interesting. At last the Grump found the woman to soothe his beast! I’m looking forward to the rest of this series and Sinclair women.
