Sometimes all a witch wants to do is stay in, make some pimple-clearing potions, and watch some TV. Is that really too much to ask?
Though Mila Maganti prefers running her fun little potions and lotions shop, somebody's gotta slay the bad guys when nobody's looking. When a warlock runs past her shop knocking over carts, pushing little old witches down in the street, and wreaking havoc on general, she writes it off to another weird day in Abaddon's Gate. When one of her regulars falls under the same spell, she realizes something is afoot in her small but mysterious town.
Can Mila capture the mischief demon before somebody gets hurt?
This is a novella in my Witches of Abaddon's Gate series
I was born and raised in the South and even hung my motorcycle helmet in Colorado for a few months. I've always had a touch of wanderlust and have never feared just packing up and going on new adventures, whether in real life or via the pages of a great book.
When I was a little girl, I didn't want to grow up to be a writer—I wanted to raise unicorns and be a superhero. When those gigs fell through, I chose the next best thing: creating my own magical lands filled with adventure, magic, humor, and romance.
I live in Florida with my two dogs and when I'm not writing or reading, I'm racing motorcycles with my taller, more handsome half, hanging out at the beach, or binge-watching anything magical on Netflix.
I'm eternally grateful for all the people who help make my life what is today - friends, readers, family. No woman is an island.

The Demon Debacle is Book 2 in the Abaddon's Gate Mystery Series. I really like this series featuring Mila. There is a demon running amuck in Abandon's gate causing chaos everywhere it goes. Mila doesn't want to get involved but she can't reach her cousin Michael or Kira so she takes it on herself along with her new love interest.
This was such a fun book. I really enjoy this series and the characters are great. The world building is really well done. I can't wait for the next book in the series.
Another adventure for Mila and Calamity as a mischief demon is loose in Abaddon's Gate. I like Mila and the secondary characters add so much to the story as they try to track down the demon who is causing havoc in the community. A entertaining read and now I'm on to the next one in the series.
Another marvelous story by Tegan Maher! I love all of her series. This story is set in Abbadons Gate not too far from the Enchanted Coast resort where her cousin Destiny lives and works. Mila Maganti makes magical skincare and other products that are out of this world. She just wants to create beautiful and useful products and enjoy her life with her friends and her snarky fox familiar, Calamity. But when an escaped demon possesses locals and makes them cause scenes in the historic district and then the scenes escalate to death, she knows she has to do something. The local police are at a loss and Mila can't get hold of her cousin Michael, who works undercover for a magickal agency, she knows she's going to have to do it herself. With the help of her best friend who owns the bookstore next to her shop, Calamity, a handsome security worker who Michael hired to watch over her when she was helping him, and a few town old-timers who all the town's secrets, she finds the demon and saves the day. Another successful and fun story by Tegan Maher! Enjoy!
Entertaining urban fantasy/supernatural Kusey mystery series
This is an entertaining urban fantasy/supernatural cozy mystery series. Great cast of characters in a very entertaining and expensive magical world. Mina is a witch who owns her own little potion shop in a small supernatural town called abandon skate. She is one of three cousins who have magic powers and are in this magical world. Each of the cousins have their own different series. This author has a number of different books written in this magical world. Each of the different series on occasion have characters at cross over into each others stories. Some of the books are written to be a fast quick read and others are longer and in tune for more relaxing and longer read. All of them are extraordinary and extremely entertaining to read. Read on and enjoy.
Another gem from Tegan Maher. She's yet to write a series that I don't fall in love with immediately. Mila Maganti hates dusting but it's gotta be done. Her best bud, April, invites her to lunch & some retail therapy. While chowing down @ The Cracked Cauldron, owner Shane tells her about the strange behaviour of his employee, Derek. As more incidents of people acting bizarre occur, Mila realizes it's a mischief demon. Not usually her thing but her cousin, Michael & Kira, a demon hunter are tied up in another case. Looks like Mira along with leprechaun, Timothy & assigned bodyguard Aaron are going demon hunting whether she likes it or not.
Another fun read from Rehab. I love how this book expands on our knowledge of Mila since she has been a backup character in some of the other series. It's also fun to read her interactions with her fox Calamity who has a distinctive personality that that varies from her sister foxes who live with Destiny and Cori. Timothy the leprechaun, who has been at Abbadon's gate from the start, was a great way to learn more about the history of the town. And throwing in a little romance never hurts.
Cousin Michael and soul hunter Kira are busy with another case, so it’s up to Mila to catch a demon that’s terrorizing Abbadon’s Gate. This novella will whet your appetite for the upcoming novel. Mila and her friends are irresistible; the climate of Abbadon’s Gate, not so much. Come along for the ride, or you’ll miss the fun!
I gave up on this by chapter seven. There were so many errors it was irritating. An example. Aurora Darkmore appeared as 'your aura dark more'. Some serious editing is required to make me consider any attempt at reading it in full. I normally read every release by Ms Maher so feel very disappointed.
I was looking for a book in Suspense and Thriller. This was ok but not to what I was looking for in a book.
I didn't find this to be a thriller what so ever. It was about a witch and other Supernaturals catching a being in a trap. Nothing thriller about that, sorry.
This series is so cute and fun. I live all the characters. Calamity, Aaron, Timothy, and all the rest. Tegan Maher is a wonderful storyteller and writer. A must read.
Really liked this book. I liked it more than the last book just for the inclusion of new fun characters and their personalities. I hope we Beatrice and Timothy more.
Well, calamity and her human are at it again. Lots going on in this one is always there short books to read. Aaron is back in this one so maybe that means he’s gonna be her love interest who knows.
Ms. Maher's stories are always a fun read. While this is part of a series at can be read as a standalone story. You have a ,unor demon on the loose causing problems. The witch, her familiar, a shifter, and a leprechaun are trying to catch it.
Abaddon's Gate is a quirky town where Mila Magenti and her familiar Calamity run a potion and lotion shop. They were out on the street when they saw a man pushing people and carts out of the way as he ran down the street. When one of her customers start acting the same way and later that day a man for no good reason ran out in front of a horse and carriage and was killed,Mila knew that something was not right so she started to investigate. It is another quirky page turning book and Abaddon's Gate sounds like the kind of place I would love to visit for a day. Can't wait to read the next book and see what happens. I love the series.
