HE DOESN'T LIKE CATS. I don't think a comic has ever made me laugh this hard!! I need Tee Franklin to write Harley's main title, she is the best freaking author for these characters, and I love that she's taken the time to give Ivy's some inner dialogue too, that she's giving room to both characters and really dealing with what's happened to both of them and how complicated the situation is. This attention to the mental health of the protagonists and the willingness to deal with heavy and complex emotional states while maintaining the comedy to hilarious highs is exactly what I want from an HQ comic. The fact that it follows the TV show's canon is just icing on the cake for me, this is a genuinely great Harley and Ivy comic in itself.

Harlivy take a trip to Catwoman's with Harley's hyenas, Bud & Lou, and hope to leave them with Selina.
Ivy's got a hunch that Commissioner Gordon's tailing them, and she's right. Things get tense when they reach Selina's, and Ivy finds out Harley didn't give Selina a heads-up about their visit.
Then, bam, Gordon and his GCPD crew show up. Batman tries to step in because Gordon is on a bad path.

"yeah i forgot yall dated. so he doesn't fuck bats?" "no he doesn't. he's not a fan of CATS either." (pretty sure she was about to use some other word *wink wink*) and that, ladies and gents, is the joke that caused THE pussygate. so they were like fine if we can't use it in a show we're just gonna put that in comic that is direct continuation of season 2 finale. thank you for your service, tee franklin.

Has the tone of the show down perfectly! Loved the little glimpses into Ivy's psyche and that cover perfectly encapsulates the issue's contents. My only gripe is...the sheer number of ads, which made me originally think that we were getting an extra long issue. Nope!

Some of Sarin's expressions still aren't my favorite, but their over-the-top / exaggerated nature fits the comic.

I can't wait for s3!

4 stars. Selina gets roped into Harley and Ivy's shenanigans and it was so much fun and absolutely hilarious. I really enjoyed this installment. Commissioner Gordon is slowly losing it and everyone's reaction to him and nonsensical rambling made me crack up. I liked that there was a lot more action in this one but I hope the next volume has more of Harley and Ivy's cute little romance.

Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy's epic roadtrip of love has begun - and their first stop? Catwoman's flat. Just like issue 1, issue 2 was funny, chaotic, romantic and cute with brilliant artwork.

I really loved having Ivy, Harley and Selina together. Selina is a great character and I love her characterisation in the show and thus this comic: she's so cool, aloof, funny and I just adore the reactions she elicits in people, especially Ivy. Also, seeing her home, her cats and how she lives her life when she is not being a cool thief/villain was a lot of fun. I'm also enjoying seeing how Ivy and Harley's romance is developing and the fact that they have issues and difficulties connecting and all that. Ivy's been through a lot, as has Harley, so them struggling is very realistic. I also think it's quite interesting to see Gordon kinda losing his shit as he is pursuing Harley and Ivy - he's a character who is a lot of fun to watch/read, even though most of the time he is quite dreadful.

This series is a joy to read! Highly recommend it!

I know I'm not the target audience so if you're a super fan of the show just skip me review.

I'm just her for autistic coded Ivy. It's so here, I can so sense it, I'm so living for it. I'm not living for Jim Gordon going completely mental and going into details about his STDs because he's wife is cheating or swearing.
I love Ivy in this, Harley is sweet too but out of control (as is often the case) Serina is pretty awesome. Batcat was a cute moment. The character interactions are absolutely incredible. They are so sweet so cute, so in character, it's all there. And then there's swearing raging Gordon. I'll admit it, I'm not fond of swearing. I rarely swear myself so that might be part of it, but it just generally makes me feel uncomfortable and that's my one issue with this series and with the cartoon as well. Wacky plot and excessive swearing in ways that make me feel uncomfortable, and not in a "you're uncomfortable now, but it will make you feel better/stronger later" kind of way.

Tengo ganas de ver cómo se va a desmelenar la trama y si involucran a más personajes del DC Universe. Ha estado genial todos los diálogos e interacciones con Catwoman (la 3T con ESA escena que trataron de chaparles de BatCat si se hace saldrá, visto lo visto. Así que genial). Gordon en este cómic ya está más que pasado de vueltas (la última viñeta con Batman, es que es para desorinarse).

Diversión extrema con las mejores novias posibles del género superheroíco.

5/5 stars: Holy Batman! This was such a good series! Picking right back up where the show left off, this was such a fun read! I’m really hoping all of this gets included in season 3, or at least parts. The change in both Harley and Ivy was super cute. Harley really cares for Ivy and Ivy has a harder time opening up to Harley but in the end, they both come out stronger. One of my favourite comic book couples!!

So this one was kind of boring in comparison to the first one. I feel like Harley and Ivy went nowhere in the whole 23 pages, especially compared to how action-packed the first book was. I feel like this one wasted the pages more than it added to the story, but it was a necessary evil because some big things happened in this one.

The cat is out of the bag in this one.

For some reason Harley thinks it’s a good idea to take her pet hyenas to Catwomans house. With Gordon right now they tail, it’s hard to tell if they girls will make it out a live. This comic has been great so far! It captures the vibes of the show pretty well and has been really fun to read.

Issue 2 was even better than issue 1, which was pretty damn perfect. I LOVED the way Selina was in the this. I laughed out loud many times reading it. It's so funny and so queer and so utterly brilliant. I can't stand superheroes but I utterly love this.

But this is a damn good issue!!! I can’t say enough how well this series replicates the show’s energy.

I love that despite the happily ever after of season two, this series paints a lot of realistic touches on Ivy and Harley’s relationship.

Gordon has lost his absolute mind though. I feel bad for his subordinates tbh. Selina deserves a hug and a nice pet but she is an amazing cat mom.

I am extremely excited for issue #3.

So funny, so charming, and so perfectly in-tone with the source material while also continuing to expand on Harley and Ivy's relationship. There's no straight-washing here, and it's great to really get to read a comic where of course there is plot and humor and excitement, but the main focus is the relationship between the two female main characters and how it's developing.
