Harlivy take a pit stop at a roadside diner after Ivy's tummy rumbles.
Ivy warns Harley to keep a low profile, but Harley unintentionally attracts attention. False claims lead to the police showing up. Ivy gets mad, but she later apologizes for being mad and impatient.
Reign, a kind employee and 🫶 Queer Ally , helps them escape and offers refuge.
As they're about to leave, Nightwing arrives, sent by 🦇 Batman to prevent excessive damage caused by Gordon.
Batgirl steps in too, to cool down her dad, Commissioner Gordon, and tries to defuse the situation.
Later, during a very fancy and romantic dinner/date, a villain called Hush aggressively flirts and disgustingly hits on Harley, angering Ivy.
Ivy confronts him, a fight breaks out. While Harley (hilariously) recounts to the readers (us) what happened in the last comic and how they got to that moment.
They win, and Carmine Falcone offers them a free meal, a honeymoon suite, and control of an amusement park to make up for it.
As they get cozy & frisky 😳 on Ivy car's hood, we see that they are unaware of a trap being set.

I absolutely LOVE the 2019 Harley Quinn: Animated TV Series I've mentioned it several times in other relatable book reviews. This newly animated series especially the show is full of Laugh-Out-Loud quotable moments, and there is no question of how increasingly popular this series has become and after only just two seasons. There are so many brilliant scenes showing villains in a less threatening very humorous way even when they are at their worst.

One of the reasons for Harley Quinn: The Animated Series popularity is certainly it's comedy. Although it does has it's darker, serious, and more emotional moments, but the humor takes center stage in this DC animated series. I can't wait to finally watch season three whenever it's available. So obviously, I had to check out these comic versions which are just as fun and entertaining as the show which I also binge read the entire Eat. Bang! Kill. book series on my phone and issue #3 is definitely my favorite so far in this collection. These stories are so great SO GAY and I'm so here for every moment of it's wonderfulness

4 stars. My favorite issue so far. Harley and Ivy go on a date and of course things go awry. This was so cute. I loved the interaction they had with Nightwing and all the names Harley calls him because of his glorious ass. It was very funny. The ending was cute and yet leaves on a cliffhanger and I'm excited to see what happens next.

“All I wanted was to keep that smile on Ivy’s face. Lately it seems like I can’t do anything right. I gotta figure out a way to make it up to her. A date! Yeah, that’s it! I’m taking Ivy out on a date tonight!”

Having just escaped the cops who are hellbent on capturing them, Harley decides to take Ivy out on a grand, romantic date to cheer her up. Naturally, it all goes to hell.

This issue was fun, sweet and had lots of awesome moments between Harley and Ivy - they really are one of my fave fictional couples ever - and the other characters of this series. I liked meeting Nightwing for the first time (he was hilarious and I want him to appear in the show in season 3), and having Batgirl show up was a delight. She's such a wholesome, optimistic and funny up-and-coming heroine. Gordon's spiral into villainy and questionable tactics and decisions is enjoyable to follow also - this comic raises, through comedy and chaos, important questions about stuff like what is too far, when do you stop being a hero and become a villain etc.

I also love how this series shows Harley and Ivy working on their relationship and being respectful of each other: they apologise, they take care of one another and they make sure the other knows they are loved. It's lovely to see Harley in a good relationship after all she went through with the Joker - and seeing Ivy be more comfortable with intimacy and romance after her relationship with Kite Man where she was often a bit embarrassed of being seen with him, is also nice.

Tantos AÑOS debiéndonos este contenido con esta pareja de personajes que ahora contamos con un cómic EXCLUSIVAMENTE para esto. Aún adorando ver a estas dos ya tan oficialmente "NOBIAS" es cierto que en algún tramo puedes llegar a querer vomitar arcoiris de la empalagosa felicidad romántica villanesca. Pero por otro lado, este número ha contado con agradecidos cameos como el de Nightwing llevando al cómic el Meme de sus archiconocidos glúteos o Hush pasandolo peor en unas pocas páginas que en sus conocidos arcos argumentales en las cabeceras centrales de Batman.

Con la 3T de la serie animada ya reconfirmada para 2022, pues seguiré al tanto de este cómic para hacer más amena la espera. Pero ya queda totalmente claro que esto es uno de los "guilty pleasures" comiqueros más reivindicables.

Enjoyed the antics within as well as the direct narration from Harley, but I found the time skipping needlessly disorienting and it slowed down the issue for me. Likewise, while I suppose Harley would enjoy a torture-amusement park date, I'm slightly surprised that Ivy would want to waste so much of her focus on keeping Hush around. Well, maybe as a punching bag present for Harley...

I did like the conversations between Harley and Ivy and how they talked through their respective issues, even if they blew up on each other just a bit.

And good job Sherryl! The Nightwing cameo was entertaining, butt puns and all.

Can't wait for the next issue and the next season!

5/5 stars: Holy Batman! This was such a good series! Picking right back up where the show left off, this was such a fun read! I’m really hoping all of this gets included in season 3, or at least parts. The change in both Harley and Ivy was super cute. Harley really cares for Ivy and Ivy has a harder time opening up to Harley but in the end, they both come out stronger. One of my favourite comic book couples!!

Now, this is what I needed! This book made up for the previous one. I had so much fun reading this one, and it felt a lot like the first one because it had so much stuff packed into the 23 pages. I would've loved to see them longer, and there were things in this one that I wish were flushed out a little bit more, but overall I loved this one.

This Hush story felt a little rushed.

On the 3rd issue of this series and it feels like it’s starting to slow down. Harley and Ivy just wait a moment to freshen up but can’t even get that. Gordon is out of his mind with vengeance and the bat family has had to step in. As for Hush, felt a little out of place compared to the rest of the issue.

The character interactions are still amazing, but the best part is definitely the expressiveness of the art. Their full body just shows their feelings and I need to learn that because it's too pretty!
