The Line: A New Way of Living with the Wisdom of Your Akashic Records

Rate this book
Live a soul-aligned life as you learn a new way of accessing the wisdom of your Akashic Records in this modern guide.

In every moment, you are receiving divine messages to help you align with your soul’s path―a path of spiritual evolution, soulful meaning, and universal love. These messages originate from the vast metaphysical library of your entire soul journey known as the Akashic Records.

With The Line , Ashley Wood, along with her creative collaborator Ben Wood, shares a new way of accessing your Akashic Records―one that is updated for the rapidly changing times we live in. Whereas past instruction in accessing the Akashic Records often involved layers of preparation and ceremony, through her channeling Ashley was shown how to receive immediate guidance by aligning with the frequency of your Line ―an energetic connection with your soul’s Akashic Records.

Throughout The Line , Wood offers a wealth of tools, practices, and teachings channeled from a spiritual group of beings known as The Pinnacle, to help you activate your Line for clarity, guidance, and soul insight. You’ll

• Simple breath and movement practices for activating your Line and connecting with your own Akashic Records
• How to turn on your intuition so you can receive, understand, and trust your messages―and then find the courage to act on them
• Guidance for managing your emotions and healing your wounds so you can commit to your soul’s growth and evolution
• Techniques for making multidimensional connections across your soul’s experiences in this life and beyond
• A wealth of exercises and journaling prompts to help you identify and align with your authentic gifts and purpose

When you learn to access and understand the wisdom held within your own Akashic Records, you’ll discover the key to fully expressing the truth of your wholeness, magnificence, and purpose in this lifetime―and, perhaps most importantly, you’ll learn how to truly and authentically love all of yourself.

Before I get into the book, some readers might not be familiar with the Akashic Records. In a nutshell, the Records are the repository of every soul memory you’ve ever - in this or any other lifetime. I read, long ago, that we aren’t able to access our Akashic Records for this lifetime while we are living it, but I’ve since found that not to be true. There is a method for entering them, though, and I learned it through another source last year. I thought this book would be along the lines of the course that I took; just a different method for accessing the records but I was mistaken. The Line teaches daily actions we can take to enhance our intuition and thus, receive messages that will guide us toward living in alignment with our soul purpose.

Sound like a lot? The method that Wood teaches is actually quite simple. She calls it Activating Your Line - which is another way of saying aligning your energy to a higher vibration or to the Divine. I did nearly every exercise in this book (some I skipped because I’ve already worked through them in my spiritual journey but they’re all worthwhile), and I have to say that this was the quickest and most effective method of energy alignment I’ve come across. It’s now a daily exercise for me. Sometimes more than once a day, depending on how life’s going for me.

The purpose of this alignment is to be open to receiving messages from the Records; gentle nudges toward actions that will advance your soul purpose. I hesitate to say I have a complaint with this book, but even with several examples drawn from her online community and own life, there were still times when her advice was a bit vague and advised practicing until the reader “feels” the energy or “learns” how their guides communicate. Then again, I think best in absolutes (the concept of multiple lives happening at once makes my head explode), and I like to have my hand held with concrete examples (something my guides often chide me about).

The author’s style is warm and compassionate and she freely offers her insight into connecting with her guides, as well as personal examples from her own life. She hosts a podcast, which I listened to, and her recorded voice is as lovely as I expected.

Wood provides a prayer for directly accessing your Akashic Records, which I tried. I have two other prayers that I use and each one gives a different perspective on the visit. The prayer in this book was no exception. It’s difficult to describe but while I still accessed my own Record guides, the location was different. I was literally above the earth and was told that this was a good method if I had global questions, that I’d be more inclined to larger insights. In addition, the exercises in the book made me realize that I’d let other practices like breathwork slip in my daily routine and led me to very interesting questions that I posed to my guides in my last visit with them.

This is a great resource for anyone new to a spiritual practice, who wants to work on increasing their intuition, or just interested in learning more about the Akashic Records and their own soul purpose.

I rated it 4.5 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐+

**Thank you for the advance copy! All opinions are my own.**

An interesting beginner's guide to the Akashic records, universe, and spirituality. This book invites readers to connect with their inner light and to listen to their intuition. It also features exercises, such as "A Day of Action" - building the skills you need to activate your day. The author adds some autobiographical stories to show how their life has been impacted and greatly changed by the concept of the Akashic records.

There are many different facets to spirituality. If you're curious about spirituality or just want to see if any of the self-improvement tips resonate with you,

Renaming the chakra system along
the spine “the line” does not make using this energy system new. I could go deeper on that topic but I don’t want to insult the efforts of the author or judge the authors experiences because they differ from mine. The essential message promotes a spiritual practice that is consistent with taking ownership of your life through connection to your spirit which opens one to more connection to the divine. If your someone that finds
the authors path resonates with you and thus supports a positive change in your frequency, well, it serves the planet. Lots of self appointed virtual prophets to choose from, choose thoughtfully.

Riona’s review says it all. Just want to add that the author’s take on the Akashic records is that it’s managed by a group of pleiadians called “The Pinnacle”, and it’s accessed by activating “The Line” which corresponds to the spinal column and chakra system.

This book was ok. It will probably resonate and be helpful to some people. The intergalactic beings quoted in this book always speaking in rhymes is where they lost me. Too silly for my taste.

If you're into spirituality, and read books in this genre, you probably won't find anything new or groundbreaking in this one. It's a pleasant read, but I was a bit bored since I've read similar content in many other places.

Ashley Wood encourages you to tune into yourself and your "line" to receive guidance and messages from your soul. I think that's wonderful, and maybe this method will work for some people. It's a lovely message to trust yourself through the process.

Again though, this was nothing new to me and it's taught in just about any yoga or meditation class.

It's a short read, and Ashley often mentions her "community" throughout the book. I got the sense this book was written to bring people into the community to take her courses. Perhaps that's where the content is? A couple times she said you can go to her website to learn how to tap into the Akashic records and see how to do the exercises. I assumed it was free instruction to supplement the book but they are paid courses. That was disappointing.

Basically, it's a sweet book but didn't give much on the topic of the Akashic records.
