Fir the first sight I was a little bit sceptic, but still attached to this book. Than I said to myself, OK, lets give it a try. And than came the surprise...This is ONE GREAT read that can be executed immediately. It took me about 3 days to finish it, I just couldn`t drop it. The best ever book that revolves around both, ethics and morals of life I have red recently. I find it hard to read black and white book, so I was missing the pictures, but the content gave compensation, and that`s the point right? I'm so happy I discovered it!!! Looking into read other books from the author, and defo keep my eyes on his future projects.
I really enjoyed this story, and definitely would love to see more about Veronica. In my eyes, a true champion faced with adversity from everything around her, the streets to people, yet finds a way to overcome. The ethics and morals taught in reality the hard way, put together with meticulous detail by the author. Thank you for another great story RK Byers.
Unadulterated and filled with Raw, Sexual Energy. This is what Veronica, the main character in the story exuded. The story is vivid on her physicality it will catch your imagination. The sexually explicit language only heightened the plot that it almost seemed like a foreplay leading to an intercourse.
This is my second read by this author and he did it again, I love the character development and how I could picture every chapter, I like Veronica & Charles!! Keep up the good work Byers!!
I'd really like to hear Veronica.. I'd like to know what else happy. I'm intrigued enough to read parts again but this definitely isn't the end I think.
His style is completely different from most authors I’ve read but the more I pick up by him, the more into it all I become. Body Count turned out to be an easy read. When I say easy, I mean, once I really got into it, I didn’t want to put it down. I had to know the next story! Wondering what I mean by ““next story”? Well, guess you’re gunna have to check it out for yourself. 😉
I found it difficult to put Body Count down. Veronica's story told from many different voices was beyond captivating. The author must write the other book which is Veronica telling her own story. I liked the fact that many of the men came across as if they were simply rolling a memory around in their head without wishing to share it, just a collection of reflections but the author captured their thoughts. Well written. Let's get the next one out!
