The warden is breathing down our necks. He knows our secrets and it’s only a matter of time before he finds out. Then we’re doomed.
I’m barely holding my shit together when the vampires we’re hunting kidnap me.
I don’t know what we all did to deserve this, but karma’s delivering big time, and I’m not sure we’ll all make it through this alive.

Skyler Andra why do you do this to me. I'm pretty sure I spent most of this book thinking one of the characters was going to die and every page broke my heart. Naughty, naughty writer. Nothing was easy for the characters in this book, there were so many different things happening that they literally couldn't catch a break. When one thing was resolved, another thing came to light.
I have to say there really wasn't enough candy for Tor and Astra in this one, but that's just me haha. I love the whole candy thing between them both, and I missed it a little in this one. There's a lot of twists and turns in this one, and I can't wait to see what the author brings to the table in the next one!
This is a fantastic series! This fourth book is gripping and exciting and grabs you from the get go. The relationships between Astra and her men continues to grow and develop, there’s chaos and secrets everywhere you go, and the emotions, well it’s one hell of a ride. It’s a kick ass read and I am anxious to read. more.
This book/series is probably the first one ever that makes me question the whole RH concept. Relationships rarely seem that hard in RH series but seriously; Astra has her work cut out for her with these men. Knoxe is still his obnoxious self and now my sweet Tor is getting on my nerves as well. And still, that is probably the beauty in it all: they way I feel after reading this book makes it pretty clear how invested I get when reading about Astra and her men. Multiple hours after finishing my emotions still haven't completely settled. There is a real good reason Skyler warns us at the start that she has been evil-Skyler while writing this one...
This book wrecked me a little, so it's not exactly a light and funny read, but I like how different it is to a lot of other books that are around. It is high on emotions, mainly because these characters have plenty of flaws and seem to be good at blaming others as long as they don't have to look too closely at themselves. It seems Raze allready found a way to put Astra first, so I hope the others will manage to pull their heads from their ... and start to cherish their woman real soon.
I really enjoyed Skyler Andra's fourth book in Astra's story. Astra has to put up with even more violence and political machinations against her and her team, but she and the guys manage to ride everything out until the cliffhanger at the end. I absolutely love how Pascal and Astra form an even deeper bond in this book, and I can't believe all the roadblocks the team has to go through with other prisioners and the warden. I really have a soft spot, though, for the warden since he truly believes in right and wrong, and even if he can't change policies, he sympathizes with the team. The main reason I did not give this book a 5, is that some content editing was needed. Repetition of facts once or twice to remind the reader what's already happened is fine; however, many repetitious plot points and even some passages where some the knowledge of something is forgotten until later caused me to not enjoy this book as much as the others in the series. No matter what, though, the story and characters have me hooked and I can't wait fornthe final conclusion.
Seriously Skyler?! Evil wench! Honestly soooo much emotionally heartbreak and trauma in one book…she really wanted to make you cry!! Each of the team members face their own dilemmas caused by outside forces (namely Eduardos Aunt) but they’re all battling their own inner demons that are intent on destroying them 😔 It’s also great to see a harem where it’s not all smooth sailing there’s some realistic fissures in the harem cause by the guys actions and perceiving Astra to have picked sides! It feels a more realistic representation of juggling four totally different relationships and the conflict they could bring 👍🏻 There’s some more shocking twists and turns to the story that really drive the narrative alongside the emotions in this book. Wondering what on earth Skyler is going to put these poor characters through next…..
Amazing - I just love this world and the characters that this author has created as there is so much depth and of course Astra and Pascal are both on the Spectrum. Ok Knox and Tor need a good slapping and Pascal needs to come to terms with the fact that its only him holding himself back and that he can be more confident about Astra with out help. Raze OMG my heart is breaking for this beautiful man as he just always puts everyone first even when they dont deserve it. Yes there is a good storey in the back ground but this book is all about the relationships and how the world around these guys seems determined to keep throwing bad karma their way and trying to split them up. Wonderful read with a huge cliff-hanger that you just not see coming!
Astra, a Guild of Guardians inmate, and Raze, another inmate and one if her boyfriends, kept a secret from Pascal, Knoxe and Tor, her other boyfriends and team members, only for the secret to come out and blow up in their faces. As the story progresses their team falls apart, another evil player enters the game, and the surprises remaining for the team are not all bad. Skyler Andra took the reader on an emotional roller coaster that ended with them almost lamming into a brick wall. Reader discretion advised due to dark subject matter and/or possible triggers.
I read this book with my Kindle Unlimited subscription and I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
“Karma. My body started to shake at my pent-up resentment at her. Every time something went right for my team and I, two bad things pushed us back several steps. We needed a break for once instead of being beaten down until we broke.” - Astra 💫
I can’t even count how many times while reading this book that I smiled or how many times I nearly threw my device. It certainly was one happy (often spicy ❤️🔥) step forward, then two heartbreaking 💔 steps back. I still absolutely love Astra and each of her men. We continue to see them as the imperfect people they are. They are all continuing to grow, mature, learn more about themselves and each other. I’m already desperate for the next book because that cliffy was just NOT okay!
Noooooooooo flaming hell that ending!! I just wanted to shout out no way you can end it like that!!! Oh well Ill see how it goes in the next book. It did feel like this book more so than the others in this series focused on the relationship between Astra, Knoxe, Tor, Raze and Pascal. Especially in respect to their individual ones Astra had with each of her guys. Secrets and other outside influences get in the way of their trust as well as their dynamic within the group.
Sad in places and a little bit touching too. Also a few characters from the Guild of Shadows series pop up in this book. I love it when characters crossover into different books. This series different getting better and i loved this book
Seriously! Seriously! Skyler you broke me! This fourth book really focuses on the characters and their relationship as well as so many more problems Astra and her men have to deal with. This book was an emotional rollercoaster for me and I really feel it's the best of the series yet. I really enjoyed the different dynamics in the harem, where it's not always smooth sailing when it comes to four different men. There's twists and turns throughout that had me anxious on how it was going to end... And boy did it end on a massive cliffhanger that I was not expecting one bit! It's one of those books where you just can't look away and it grips your heart and pulls it in so many directions. It's a phenomenal read, the writing is amazing and the characters are unforgettable! Omg! I need the next book right now! Evil Skyler!!!
Mam! I can’t even right now! These poor souls can not catch a break, have mercy!! Skyler makes sure that you feel every emotion with this book, so many colorful words came out of my mouth while reading this book. Each book in this series really does keep you on the end of the seat. And my sweet sweet Pascal, I really enjoyed his journey through this book, to watch his pendulum swing of figuring out who he is. It’s always great to see the characters grow into their own with each book.
So this book has me reeling so hard. This is somehow what I expect an reverse harem to be. The struggle is real with the relationships and I can only imagine this would happen in real life too since guys are like that. Astra has her work cut out in making it work with all the guys and I find this book to be everything I hoped for and way more too. This series just keeps getting better. Hoping that the other guys will learn what Raze already did. The lady first and everything else last... can't wait to see what happens. I'll be reading it for sure.
This book seems to really get into the realistic problems that would seem likely to happen in a RH. Where there’s some jealousy and occasional picking of sides that can cause problems and rifts between characters. And the work and effort it takes to work out the problems. That, combined with the regular problems the characters face, and the action, drama, and suspense/danger they face in their situation makes this story an amazing read. The ending is enough to make you scream and cause your heart to break. It leaves you reeling, deperate for more.
This book was an amazing read that hooked me from the moment that I started reading. It moves along at a great pace which made for an amazing story. One that I could not put down until the very last page was read. It slows down and speeds up at the perfect spots throughout. The characters are amazing and you will find yourself falling in love with them no matter what happens. This book needs to be on your TBR list, there is no doubt about it.
I keep saying this, but RH is not one of my favorite genres, but sometimes I find an author who does it when I like it. This is one such author. Astra is a great heroine who can kick butt and take names. Her men adore her, and she adores them. However, there are so many secrets running around, they are getting in the way of everyone’s relationships. On top of that, poor Raze is about to give up when he really shouldn’t. Not only all of that, but there is also a reveal that was almost a game-changer, and the end just blew me away. Great addition to the series. Recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.
This book had my heart in my mouth several times. How could you do this to your readers Skylar? I do love that not everything is smooth sailing for the team, it really kept me wondering what was going to happen to everyone. Astra and her guys seem to go through hell and back in this book. Just as they start to trust each other and work as a team, secrets and traitors seem to come out of the woodwork and threaten their relationships. Still lots to happen but they are getting so close to getting out.
Each book that comes out I look forward to see what happens next. Did not disappoint. This was ducking epic. That ending made me drop my phone in shock! (It’s fine) I seriously can’t wait for the next book because that ending. What a bomb I was not prepared for. Skyler you write beautifully I read this like a movie in my head. This book was worth the wait!!!! I can’t wait to read the next one.
I was convinced that this book was the last in the series and I am equally happy and horrified that it isn't. The poor characters can not catch a break, have mercy!! Skyler makes sure that you feel every emotion with this book, so many colorful words came out of my mouth while reading this book. Each book in this series really does keep you on the end of the seat. It’s always great to see the characters grow into their own with each book.
Book 4 of this bloody amazing series, I'm falling more and more in love with pascal each time I read about him and tor Omg that guy is like a big child wrapped in a body of a good and raze Omg my beautiful wolf I need to hug him and the knoxe ummm well as much as he is hot I still wanna slap him sometimes.
Now this book introduces a new person loco is his name and wow I need to hear more about this psychotic inmate. Thats all I'm saying on this dude.
This one will really rip out your heart. You must read these in order or you will miss some insanely good moments. Astra, our heroine, will do anything for her men. But lies have a way of destroying things. And one big one that happened at the end of the previous book will set the scene for the whole story. There will be blood shed, tears, and pain. But there is the love this group has that will be tested and only time will tell if it is enough.
Rollercoaster of action and drama in this fourth installment of the series. Great big plot surprises. Plenty of steam and romance. I just love most of her men and even the alphahole is engaging. Such a unique take with one of the gummy’s being on the autism spectrum. Some really poignant moments. Can’t wait to read the finale. Definitely recommend.
Another great book in this fantastic series. I love that 2 of the characters are in the spectrum. I also love that Astra and her men all struggle with each other and have dynamic issues that they have to work through. It makes the relationships feel more organic. Yhis book really puts the characters through the ringer however and things just keep going from bad to worse. Such an emotional ride.
Astra and her men are back in book 4 of the Guild of Guardians series! Karma's a Witch is full of karma filled moments. So many emotions throughout this book, I couldn't believe what these characters had to go through. Their relationships are put to the test too, and all is not chocolate and roses. I'm addicted to these characters and this series!
What a crazy emotional rollercoaster! It seems like Astra and her men cannot catch a break no matter what they do. We get to see relationships grow and the characters come into there own in this book. It is one of those books that will keep you on your toes while dragging you into the depths of the story. I could not put it down. I am looking forward to seeing how this series all wraps up in the last book. Fantastic! 💜🖤
Omfg skyler what are you doing to me... This is the fourth book in this series and doesn't disappoint if I could give more than 5 stars I would.
As always I was hooked for the very first sentence and taken on an amazing adventure full of love, lust, friendship, relationships and Action with a few surprises along the way that took me through an array of emotions.
This series is Skyler Andra at her very best and I can not wait to read the next installment of Astra,Raze, Pascal knoxe and Tors Journey.
Karma's a Witch is the fourth book in the Guild of Guardians series. This cannot be read as a standalone!
WHY??? JUST WHY???
Ugggh, FEELINGS! Things are not stopping for Andra and the guys. Bad Karma is thrown their way as they are trying to survive. I was right, I seriously isn’t stopping!! Plenty of action, plenty of steam and just literally a rollercoaster ride!!!
Holy crap!!! That book grabbed you and threw you into a washing machine of emotions and chaos and didn’t let up. Soooo much happened in this book but really picked up half way through. Interested to see where the next book takes the team and all the chaos that will ensue from here. Nothing ever goes smoothly for this team. Lots to still over come with the team and getting out.
Evil Skyler is Evil! She gives us warning before the book starts, but still I was not expecting that ending. I seriously need the next book ASAP! So many things happened in this book and the team is being tested in all the ways. Things are revealed, but again, I need the next book now!
The twists and turns in this book were keeping me on the edge of my seat. I love how Skyler Andra sucked me in. An emotional roller-coaster ride that was a fantastic and captivating read. Eagerly awaiting the next book.
Skylar Andra brings us another installment in the characters of the Guardians. This poor team just can't get a break! Beautifully written with complex characters and plot twists that keep you turning pages throughout. Don't miss out on this book!!
