Leslie's boutique shoe design company is struggling. Neither she nor her design team has created anything worth manufacturing all year. If she doesn't come up with something incredible, she will lose her biggest client and have to cancel her spring fashion show.
As she leaves work for a lunch meeting with her client, she stumbles across a lone four-leaf clover growing up through a crack in the parking lot. She carefully plucks it, hoping for a bit of luck.
When a St. Patrick's Day parade stops traffic in front of an Irish pub, Leslie tries to gift the clover to the pub's owner in an attempt to bring it "home." A short man with a green shimmer to his skin catches her eye. The other rowdy patrons have left a wide berth around this handsome, mysterious stranger. Drawn to his solitary table, Owen tells her tales of fairies and leprechauns. Leslie is amused but is far too practical to believe in magic.
When they discover they have a passion for crafting shoes in common, Owen offers to let her see the closet full of shoes he and his two friends have designed. Leslie is skeptical but desperate for a new shoe design to save her business. She follows the short fellow to the home he shares with his friends.
Feeling a bit like Cinderella, she tries on the first pair. It fits perfectly! The only problem - the shoes won't come off. The little men insist the shoes are enchanted and can only be removed if she grants the cobbler a wish! The whole situation is surreal. Leslie might need someone to pinch her just to wake her from this mad dream.
This steamy holiday novella features sexual situations with multiple partners, including oral sex. Add a little enchantment to your reverse harem romance!
I was really hoping to like this because that is my only St Patrick vibes read of my TBR this year but gosh.... I am ALL for smut novellas but then don't try to put a plot line...that never really concludes ?
I rarely have such a down reason with non human smutty read but here we are :(
Pinch Me blends whimsical fantasy with steamy romance, offering a surreal escape into a world where magic and desire intersect in unexpected ways. Leslie’s desperation to save her struggling shoe design company sets the stage for a story that quickly shifts from grounded reality into something far more fantastical.
The enchanted shoe premise is creative and fun, especially with its Cinderella-like twist. The introduction of Owen and his companions brings in folklore-inspired charm, and the magical bargain element adds intrigue to the romance.
However, the transition from real-world stakes to fantasy happens very quickly, which can make the story feel slightly disjointed. The whimsical tone doesn’t always fully mesh with the more adult elements, and the emotional depth behind the relationships remains fairly light.
While the concept is unique and playful, the novella format limits how deeply the characters and their connections can be explored. The story leans more toward escapist fantasy than emotional development.
Overall, Pinch Me offers a creative premise and an imaginative magical twist, but the pacing and tonal balance keep it from fully delivering on its potential.
Who knew leprechaun kink could be so hot?! This is a pretty simple story that ends in a delightful MMMF. So if that’s something you’d like to fantasize about, you’ll probably like this.
it was such a fun slightly chaotic little escape definitely a solid 4 star read for me.The story follows Leslie a shoe designer whose life completely flips after a magical St. Patrick’s Day encounter with three leprechauns. Fast forward a year and her business is thriving her luck is unreal and she’s juggling the attention (and complications) that come with her three magically inclined companions. But of course all that “good luck” comes with a catch especially when an old wish starts spiraling into something she can’t fully control. There’s this constant tension of her trying to keep everything balanced before the magic quite literally turns on her. What I really enjoyed was how the story leaned into the idea that too much of a good thing can become a problem. The magic isn’t just whimsical it has consequences. Overall sometimes you need a little smutty novella to read for fun lol.If you like quick paranormal romances with leprechauns and a hint of “be careful what you wish for” this is for you.
