The description of this book 2 is violence. To what end will people keep killing until they feel justice is served. How someone can dominate over people to justify their existence. When you lived on the wrong side of the law before THE END. Your moral and civil judgment will become a monster. A ending I didn't see coming as I raced to the end of book. Lots of violence and sanity vs insanity.
Think I enjoyed this even more than the first novel in the series. It’s a pleasant change to read post apocalyptic fiction which has a slow timescale ( don’t misinterpret that for pace of which it has plenty ) and takes its time to describe in detail each day as events unfold and the feelings of the characters involved. Looking forward to starting the third volume as soon as I’ve finished writing this.
Like my review title says, intensely great! Thie second book in this series was filled with edge of your seat moments. I must say that the character development in this series is fantastic. I felt as if I was inside the storyline and feeling every moment. This one ended on a violent event and I am anxiously awaiting the next book.
I thought I would start this book but just could not put the book down. I loved the characters, story and the emotions behind each of them. I loved hoe this author talked about near death experiences and post traumatic stress disorder. I thoroughly enjoyed the book. Look forward to the rest of the series. Take care.
Well after the first book I thought this might be a good series to read and I was right, I read this second book in one day, it was that good, great characters, interesting plot and lots of twists and turns. I highly recommend this book.
Fast paced roller coaster ride. The characters are interesting and you get the back story for each. What makes them tick and the reason they are like they are . Can they survive what happened next ?
I don't understand why the covers of this series hasn't been corrected. They continuously refer to the Rottweiler when there's a German Shepherd on the cover. A lot easier to follow the story line from the first book.
Too dark a story line, repetitive wording in an effort to increase sensationalism, & leaves this reader with a sense of wonder at the emotional tug used to represent the current popular genre of today.mi
This glimpse of total anarchy is frightening in view of the racism exhibited in this time. It is definitely a time we all need to practice peace in the present climate!
