In early 2008, childhood friends Robert and Sean found themselves gainfully employed after having graduated from college -- back when people did that -- and spending their days emailing each other about the Twins. Soon, Robert came up with the idea to start a website called FireGardy.com that could become the holding place for these conversations.
FireGardy was born.
Since then, Robert and Sean have moved on from FireGardy.com, and decided to compile everything they'd posted to the old site into book form.
FireGardy was about an unabashed love for baseball and the Minnesota Twins, and hopefully had a certain amount of humor embedded within the pages of invective ranting. What it was never really about, though, was firing Ron Gardenhire -- even though we thought it was at the time.
