“Erotomania (Erotomania) is a rare mental illness in which the patient falls into the delusion that another person (usually someone with a higher social status) is in love with him.” (From Baidu Encyclopedia)
The psychiatrist that Lin Anran saw–
“In short, that Mr. Right was only a figment of your mental delusion. You feel that the other person was secretly conveying love, and was even secretly showing you love in a TV interview, but in fact, you both have no contact at all in reality. Everything was just your imagination.”
The man in suit and tie that Lin Anran saw at home–
“Ranran, you’re finally back.”
The shou is a long-haired introvert, the gong is a two-faced, big pervert.
“I’ve already told you that I’ve loved you for so long, and you are only willing to believe it today.”
okay this novel was the cutest thing ever. i’m always a sucker for doting MLs who are obsessed with their beloved and this certainly delivered because shang hao was OBSESSED
i love slowburn but i’m gonna need more danmei where the cp are together at the start asap. the casual intimacy and dogfood lin anran and shang hao delivered was adorable
i can see why some might not like this though because it was repetitive at times. this is also a danmei where you’ll enjoy this a lot more if you just shut off your brain and don’t take things too seriously
i wish there were extras because i need to see more of ranran and haohao 😭
This is the story of Lin Anran and Shang Hao. This is a slice of life kind of story where we are shown Lin Anran and Shang Hao's struggles in their relationship.
At first I thought it will be a 4 star read for me but the story was slow and it felt like some chapters were filler chapters. It was such a chore to finish this. The latter chapters are weirdly static and felt like it was going nowhere.
My main issue with this couple is that they don't discuss stuff. They readily assume things. I understand Lin Anran's hesitancy to open up because he is still trying to overcome his inferiority complex(?). To be honest Lin Anran's mental health issue was not clearly addressed. It was vague until the end for me.
Shang Hao despite being successful in life is also unsure of his importance on Lin Anran. I do admire his patience on a few times on the novel and Lin Anran needed that.
The whole novel felt slow for me and it was quite bland. I think the only part where it got interesting was that online fiasco. I like it that Lin Anran complained to Shang Hao.😊
Rating: 4/5- Really lovely although the author kinda rushes the ending and character development which docked some points!
The story is quite short and takes on a more lighthearted feel relating to a rather difficult mental illness. The dynamic between both characters were really sweet. It’s a very fictional best case scenario type story as actual medical and professional assistance take a backseat here.
Overall it doesn’t ruin the fictional essence the story aims to retain. I personally felt that the last few chapters were a bit too rushed, almost as if the author wanted to end the story quickly.
Overall it’s fluffy and I rather the MLs character and his patience. The MC is standout and if the author stayed faithful to closing off the wonderful character she’d started out with until the final pages, I feel like this would have been rated higher by me. Still read it though.
Such a sweet slice of life story! There are a lot of funny scenes that made me laugh out loud. So happy for the ML and the MC. It wasn’t easy for the both of them to get where they are. And I like how to ML lowered himself instead of forcing the MC to be at his level. True love!

RanRan who is someone with deep anxiety, insecurity, and extremely introverted, finds this handsome prince charming called Haohao who helps him get out of his shell.
It's a short novel but I just got so bored that I wanted to quit after chapter 20. The plot was simple they have a happy end and the ring stuff at the end was too much.

4 Fluffy Not very realistic tbh. Love at first sight is always so weird to me. Why are you so in love with someone who doesn't even express anything "Clean, pure, cute"... please Sick of the feminisation of 0 Good character growth for both of them thaur. HaoHao & Ranran rooting for you

Le tiene fé a la novela, ya que aborda sobre trastornos mentales. Sin embargo, me decepcionó. Hubo muchos vacíos que hicieron que terminara confundida. Además, me empezaba aburrir, como que todo iba en una sola línea.
