This is not written by Taylor this is unofficial. But a brilliant little hardback book at just under 100 pages. An easy read full of life, relationship, friendship and career advice we can all learn from Taylor. Perfect for any little swift fans. Easy reading. Beautifully laid out and illustrated. A fab little book that could be educational and powerful for younger readers. A well deserved four stars from me.
I was gifted a few coffee table books last birthday/Christmas and this was one of them! Hadn’t read this one yet but if they’re going to sit out I need to read them all eventually! Not changing lives but super cute illustrations. More for life advice according to Taylor than learning something about her I didn’t already know. Loved the section about how being a good friend involves being an ally! And the explanation on why she phased out the 4th of July parties was cool. Can’t complain!
"Created by Swifties for Swifties", this is a fun collection of quotes, advice and lessons all in very digestible form. I would say it's more fan service than practical guide, so it's definitely on the prejudiced side.
I enjoyed how the content, themes and colour palettes reference/pay homage to Taylor Swift's life, achievements and albums. My favourite segment would be the one about forgiving your mistakes and Good Girl Syndrome. So relatable and I'm sure many women will be able to resonate with it.
Overall, this is a light and quick read with some good messages.
This is a cute little advice book written by fans for fans. I kept thinking it was like a little motivational PowerPoint as I went through it. I wouldn't agree with whoever called it "brilliant", but it would be a great coffee table book for any Swiftie. I liked the art and the quotes included. It can be read in one sitting.
When I realised I had the opportunity to have this book be my first book of 2024, I immediately added it to my to do list. This book is labelled as a book for swifties, by swifties, and I think that's absolutely perfect. It was a quick and fun read and I enjoyed every second, and wish that I could have 10 more other versions to read. I think it's a book every swiftie should read, and it genuinely does encourage you to "be more Taylor"; and as I'm going to be seeing Taylor live this year (screaming, crying, throwing up) I think the whole prospect of trying to be more Taylor is a great idea
When I tell you I speed read this book (which I had to ask my best friend to get me because I couldn't think of anything else I would manage to finish in less than a quarter of a day)
It's light and easy to read, not the best piece of literature ever but it serves it's purpose. I really wish it had way more quotes from Taylor's songs tho.
This book gives amazing advice on how to tackle difficult and new situations, moreover helps to make yourself a better and happy person. If you’re a swiftie, you’re definitely gonna love this
This unofficial book of Taylor Swift gave all her advice on life, love, friendships, passion, values etc over the years. It was pretty decent too as it mentioned lyrics from folklore and evermore. For a causal Taylor Swift fan or a swiftie like me, it was a great quick read and I really enjoyed it. I loved the little illustrations too throughout the book. It really was a book that I think Taylor herself would appreciate.
Definitely would recommend it to anyone who even kind of likes Taylor and her much and isn’t a huge fan, because you will enjoy it.
This book contains tips on how to live a positive life and build good relationships based on Taylor's lifestyle and songs. I liked the different approaches the Swifties took to Taylor's songs.
What resonated with me the most is that Taylor values "royalty." She says that by remembering to be loyal to her fans, her musician stuff, and all the people around her, she will get good karma back.
Therefore, there are always many people around her. This book takes about 15 minutes to read, so if you are a fan of Taylor's, you should definitely read it!
This is a cute little book, definitely a bit of a novelty item. I bought it as a gift for someone else but decided to read it before giving it away (shh), it’s short and you can read it in less than half an hour.
I’m not the biggest Taylor Swift fan but I understand why she’s an inspiration for many, and I can’t complain about a book that tries to get people to better themselves, it’s a bit like a self-help book in that way, a bit superficial with some topics but it works for what it is.
I like to read a book before I give it to one of my grandkids, and I have to admit I really enjoyed this book. What a great role model for your girls. She is not only a successful musician, singer, and business woman, her fans who authored this book know her to be honest, hard working, extremely talented, and smart. the short essays offer sound advice to young girls.
It's a cute advice book that's targeted to fans of Taylor Swift who will buy anything of hers. It's good advice, but all stuff any adult should know. Get it for your preteen Swiftie, but nobody else, really.
