Turn up the heat and get up close and personal with Will Hunter, the legendary owner of London's most exclusive honeytrap agency. He doesn't believe in love. Why would he? He's bedded hundreds of women. All of them married. And all of them wanted more.
All it takes for anyone to cheat is the right looks, with the right words, at the right time. Right? And he should know.
That's what he thought. He believed it all his life, until he met Eva Adams. The one mark his honeytraps can't land. She is the woman he didn't believe in. The only woman he ever wanted to want him. So when she falls for him too, their relationship attracts all the wrong kinds of attention.
Can Will overcome his demons and learn to trust? To believe in love? Or will a ghost from his past wipe out his future?
Bared To You is the second book in the Lay Me Bare steamy romance trilogy. It is recommended that these books be read in order. It is told from Will's point of view over the same time frame as book one.
Will is the owner of a Honeytrap agency, he was one of the best trappers in London. He doesn't trust many people and loves even fewer. He meets Eva and everything he thought he knew changes. He falls for her and she for him but their past is coming back to haunt them. They need to trust and believe in each other to get through this time. Eva and Will grow together as individuals and a couple.
This is the same time frame as book 1, Lay Me Bare, but from Wills POV. I am not usually a fan of this type of book, but the author has done it well. You definitely need to read the first book in the series otherwise it doesn't make sense. This is a steamy and romantic book with some mystery as well. The twists and turns within the book keep you turning the pages to find out what happens next. There were clues throughout Lay Me Bare, subtle looks and unanswered questions, that now make more sense after reading book 2. It ends in a cliff hanger to keep you guessing what will happen in the next book.
I received this book as an ARC, in return I have given an honest review.
So this book is Lay Me Bare from Will’s perspective and it was so good! You couldn’t have dual POV in the first book without spoiling the whole thing, so it was so interesting to finally get the male perspective of this epic love story.
Man, Will is so vulnerable in this book. You really see behind his hardened, beautiful defenses to a poor emotionally and physically abandoned child. And, it also shows you just how much he really loves Eva.
The twists and turns continue to confound in this book, but you definitely have a bigger perspective as Will is working for the good guys and not just the target like Eva was in the first book.
But alas, Will might be the target after all and I think the third book in the series is going to be amazing. I cannot wait!!
I received an advance copy of this book from the author and these are my honest opinions.
BARED TO YOU is Will’s perspective of events that occurred in the first book of this series, Lay Me Bare.
The two books complement one another so well. Will’s perspective is eye opening compared to how Eva saw things in Lay Me Bare. All the intrigue, betrayal and suspense that was going on was such a surprise and I really enjoyed it.
I do think there were more steamy scenes in this book and I often found myself wondering how anyone got any work done with all the showering and canoodling.
The book ends in a cliffhanger although Eva and Will are “happy for now” at the end of this book. Incidentally, I received an advance copy of this book and this is my voluntary review.
Bared to You is book 2 in this series. Lay me Bare is from Eva's perspective and this book is from Will's. You do need to read book 1 to be able to understand it. This is the first time I have read a book from the other side (the other main characters perspective) I wasn't sure how it would go, but totally willing to give it a go. I absolutely loved it. It is very well written and it flowed seamlessly. It answers the questions I had from Lay me Bare. This will not disappoint, it is a page turner - hot steamy, twists and turns.
The second book tells the story of Eva and Will once more, but in Will's POV. So we are able to learn about his past and present and all his businesses.
A great extension to book 1 and in my opinion important, because everything now fits together perfectly.
But you should def. start with book 1 and read in order.
Book 2 is book 1 from Will's POV. I feel like I would have liked book 1 more if these two were combined. This gave me a better understanding of some of Will's actions in the first book.
This is not Lay Me Bare part two- this is a completely different story set over the same time period. It is written to be the missing piece for Lay Me Bare and the two are supposed to fit together like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle.
So, if you had questions from Eva's story in book one (you were supposed to :-) ) this is the answer. Enjoy!
