Genj is a cinnamon roll alpha. Even as one of the circuit’s best space racers, he’s shy and rather clumsy. Not qualities anyone wants in a mate, especially the omega he’s crushed on for years. But when Genj invites Utahn on a whim to visit him for a weekend, the omega agrees.
Utahn never expected his best friend’s older brother to reciprocate his feelings. Genj is a space racer, and everyone in the universe knows they rarely commit. When the two get together, sparks fly. And what once seemed impossible becomes a dream come true.
But situations change. And past relationships have a way of interfering with new ones. Can Genj and Utahn work through past traumas, or were they never meant to be more than a childhood crush?

After some prodding from well-meaning friends, he invites Utahn to come for the weekend. Imagine his shock when Utahn agrees. Now, they'll be in the same city, same space. It's time for Genj to confess his feelings for Utahn. What happens next surprises Genj and propels their newfound relationship into uncharted territory. As a couple, they'll have to overcome some pretty intense roadblocks but finding your mate is worth it. Or is this relationship doomed to fail?
GENJ is a cinnamon roll hero sci-fi romance I couldn't put down. Blending sci-fi and MM romance with a couple of twists, Jessica E. Subject pens a romance written in the stars. The sweet tenderness this couple shows to each other melted my heart. GENJ hooked me right from the start with intricate, emotional narration along with a full cast of interesting characters. I connected with both Genj and Utahn right away. How do two shy heroes take the next step in a romance? Through not so gentle prodding from friends and family who are trying to be helpful. The romance unfolded at a rapid pace, but I quite enjoyed it. There were moments when I wasn't sure this couple was going to make it. This kind of writing is sublime for me as it keeps me invested in the story. What also kept me glued to the story was the world-building. Every minute detail is brilliantly executed by Jessica E. Subject. The world-building allowed me to become a part of the story. If you're a science fiction romance reader, you'll have to read GENJ. A romance not to be missed. Highly recommend!
What are super cute read This is the second book in the series and it is super cute. Genj is an alpha who is a rider in space races. He has had a mad crush on his best friend Omega Utahn for so long he can’t remember when it started. But he’s quite insecure about whether his feelings will be returned, even though his brothers tell him that his best friend is crazy for him. Omega Utahn Loves being a baker and his owns his own bakery. But he has been keeping a secret from his best friend Genj. He had had a crazy crush on him and wants to be mated and have a life together. When Genj rings asking him to come to their Familys and friends long weekend he agrees straight away. And plans to walk away with his best friend claiming him. This is Uber Uber cute story and it’s quite emotional really. They’re both so strong on their feelings for each other but so insecure about what each think of each other. Which is absolutely crazy because as soon as these two get together the chemistry is super crazy. But not everything goes to plan and my heart went out to both of them for different reasons. I am super excited for this series and cannot wait for Book three.

Enjoyable second book in this series. Where this one I think was sweet and steamy...the first one was sexy and HOT...loved both! I love reading this uniquely done otherworlds universe. Really interesting from the names of the characters and the planets itself. Genj and Utahn friendship/relationship was briefly mentioned in the first book now with this one we get their journey to their HEA. Out of all the Kaddim brothers, Genj was the most reserved/shy...sweet with his affection for Utahn...he just needed a little push to bring that alpha out of him and OMG, did Utahn give him that push...LOL. Uthan gave me all kinds of feels and I was so happy he got his alpha and his family...his ultimate happiness. So happy with this ending and can't wait to read Ret's fall from being the ultimate bachelor and find his mate...I think I know who it will be:)

Taking a stand, is empowering. Genj, a space racer, is a shy alpha. He has secretly crushed on Utahn, an omega, his younger brother's best friend, for years. Utahn, specialized bakery owner, has crushed on Genj, his best friend Vawn's older brother for years. Each man thought he didn't have a chance. These guys have massive communication issues. Utahn, is carrying a bit of baggage. Will either tell the other how he feels? Will they miss their chance? Can Genj, get over his shyness or will he Alpha up? Will Utahn, drop his baggage? There is good conflict and an emergency that creates a crossroad situation. Good story. The verbage was a bit offputting, but the basic storyline was great. I enjoyed their story and really wished the story was longer. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
As a reader who’s not quite a fan of omegaverse/mpreg type of trope, I was very impressed with this one. It was a very good story because I finished it in one sitting! I absorbed the story and couldn’t wait to turn the page! Kudos to the author for writing such a great story! It has helped me open my eyes/mind to the omegaverse/mpreg stories. I’d give this story 6 stars out of 5 if I could!
This story is about an Alpha and an Omega who had a crush on each others since they were younger but did not act on their desires until now! The story focused on how they finally acted on their desires and an event changed their lives. Not going to say more. If you are interested, get that story!!!! Looking forward to reading more from this author!

Genj is an alpha who is a top circuit rider in space races. For a long time he has crushed on his best friend, Omega Utahn. He just doesn’t have enough confidence to think Utahn feels the same way, so he says nothing. His family tries to tell him that Utahn is crazy about him too, but he still isn’t convinced.
Omega Utahn enjoys baking and has his own bakery. His life would be perfect if he and Genj were mates. So he is surprised when Genj invites him to join him on a long weekend. Will they finally get the confidence to tell each other how they feel? Or will they need a little family encouragement to get them to open up? And is their love strong enough to let them deal with any potential past issues that may get in their way to a HEA?
I’ve been looking forward to reading Genj and Utahn’s story and it was well worth the wait.
Genj was adorable and I enjoyed watching him trip over himself when Utahn’s was near him. These two took a while to get together and needed some meddling family members to help them get there.
Fantastic book! I’m looking forward to Ret finding his forever mate but I’ve got a feeling his forever mate is right in front of him, even if he is too blind too see it. Keeping my fingers crossed, it’s not too long a wait for the next book.

This book could have been an established couple romance if the two MCs would have communicated better. Genj is an Alpha who is hooked on the omega Utahn. Genj is almost virginal in that with anyone else he can get hard but can't ejaculate. Granted there is the odd involved. Plus Utahn has a successful bakery on their home planet. Until his ex's new mate start a new bakery and ruins Utah's business. In the end, they live together on the base world of the race circuit.

This was my first experience reading this author's work and I can't wait to read more. I really enjoyed reading about Genj and Utahn right from the start. It held my interest all the way through to the end. I'm going to have to check out the first book in the series to see how things started now.

Genj wasn't like other space racers. He was a really sweet and clumsy, alpha. Utahn worried that Genj wouldn't feel the same for him. Despite being so sweet on one another, the past has a way of creeping in- making you second guess. Yes, leave it to the family members to give them a little push. Worth it for your fated mate.

I loved Genj. It's the second book in the Kaddim Brothers series. I loved Utahn and Genj's story. I loved their chemistry. I wished Utahn had communicated more with Genj about his pregnancy difficulties, but I understand why he didn't. Reeve was absolutely adorable. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

Alpha racer Genj, crushing forever on his little brother's best friend, Omega Utahn, has some difficulties in the romance department but decides to go for it anyway and invite Utahn for a visit. With some prodding they do manage to open up about how they feel. Overall, a great omegaverse story.
