Monsters don’t often look like monsters on the outside.

Married to a man I should hate, I’m now bound to Damian.

I sometimes wonder what he sees when he looks at me.

Deer in headlights, I guess.

What I see is clear. Darkness.

Desire.
Want.
A man with too much experience.

The day he took me he told me I belong to him. And I believe him when he says he’ll keep me safe because he won’t let anyone touch what’s his.

But I can’t forget what he is. Can’t forget the things he’s done.

And no matter what, I can’t let myself fall in love with him.

Even as I hate myself for it, I cling to him, my enemy. This monster who doesn’t hide in the dark. The one in whose bed I’ll sleep. My monster.

Raise your hand if you stayed up way past your bed time binging on this book and could barely function at work the next morning and no amount of coffee helped but yet you still couldn't find two f's to rub together because this book was totally worth it....

No but seriously though. I think this may have been my favorite from Natasha Knight to date. We already know that her antiheroes are my favorite sort of book crack. But Cristina and Damian's story was simply on a whole other level.

First of all, I love when an author makes an antihero's fall believable. And Damian was certainly no knight in shining armor in the first book. Heck he wasn't even a knight in tarnished armor. He was a straight up villain with a devilish smile and unholy intentions. See what I did there? HA! But I digress. What I'm trying to say, is that Cristina and Damian are very much a slow burn. And where the first book develops the chemistry between them, this book sets that chemistry on fire that's so hot, it practically singes your fingers with every turn of the page.

What I loved the most is how believable it was. Their relationship is turbulent at best and toxic at worst, but it's also entirely addictive. Cristina is a fierce heroine. She's not naive and sheltered as you may thing an eighteen year old would be. Though she may not have been fully privy to her reality and what her father was, she doesn't take her situation as a victim. She fights tooth and nail and I loved that about her. This is a female that gives as good as she gets.

Damian was just...GAH. I loved him. He's deliciously wicked. He may be a bad guy, but beneath the sexual depravity there is a hidden heart, and I loved seeing that get revealed more and more in this book.

This was a jaw dropping and unputdownable conclusion to one of the most addictive duets I've read. If you like dark romance with a fierce heroine and sinful antihero, you need this on your TBR. Trust me.

My Review
This is the conclusion to the duet and I really did enjoy this one a lot.
We left this previously with Damiens twin brother back and with plans of his own to exact.
Damien and Christina are preparing to marry supposedly to protect her as this makes her untouchable by family rules.
She will then be Damiens concern her fate in his hands.
This was most definitely scorching and Damien and Christina finally consummate their relationship and it’s as hot as I was anticipating.
There's also vultures circling overhead and Christina has no idea where to put her trust.
Damien has realised that Christina is far from the toy he originally envisioned when he took her she is now his biggest weakness and his enemies will certainly use this fact against him.
It’s all about to come tumbling down like a pack of cards as everything is finally brought to a head with explosive results.
This was such a page-turner and I read it in one sitting such a fabulous conclusion.
Totally reckoned this duet it was so good.
I voluntary reviewed a copy of Unholy Intent (Unholy Union Duet #2).

I've finished this book last night, but couldn't let myself think about it until now.

I've mixed up feelings along the book and not all these feelings were welcomed to me (I almost DNF in the middle, but I'm not a quitter, so I pushed my boredom aside and finished).

The first book in this duet was a surprise change for me, because it's a bit of Stockholm syndrome, since she didn't know that she was promised to him on her 18 birthday, and with a lot of sexual tension but with zero sex scenes.

So this second book starts with a lot of sex scenes right in the first 15% of the book (Which my kinky side was thankful).

The story goes around some kinda of mafia family and a lot of hatred and betrayal in their hunted house.

Damian is fierce, ruthless and hard, and he didn't expected to feel the way he feels for the young, naive and inexperienced Christina.
Christina in the other hand, was betrayed by the only family that she had left, and knows that she can trust no one.

Their relationship is lust filled, but I didn't get any real connection between then, apart from the accident that they shared, until the very last end.

Which brings me to the best part of the story. While I've got bored and thought that the book was dragging until 60%, I really enjoyed the second half. The mystery around the traitor, wasn't really a mystery, but the way that she told, and the way that she closes the story, did make it worth my time.

She left a lot of bread crumbs around Christina's cousin Liam, so I'm pretty sure that he'll get his own book.

The ending of this story is a steamy one! Twists all over the place. Natasha Knight built up a bloody explosive setting in book one, and here it culminates. This is a family reunion you don’t want to miss. Cristina and Damian’s relationship evolved a lot. Our leads had difficulties figuring out who to trust, and so did we as readers. It’s an unpredictable, fast-paced, and even tragic (at times) novel. And lordy lord, can we talk about the covers of this series? They might be my favorite ones of Natasha Knight!

ORIGINAL COMMENT
Beautiful cover, lots of steam, but also lots of confusion on my end. I liked book one more.

Even as I hate myself for it, I cling to him, my enemy. This monster who doesn’t hide in the dark. The one in whose bed I’ll sleep. My monster.

'Unholy Intent' is the second book of the Unholy Union Duet' by the best selling author Natasha Knight.

HOLY SHIT… this book is the definition of spooky!!! I devoured this in one sitting and it was definitely a masterpiece by this author! I am a huge fan of Natasha's books. Those twists , and chilling moments , let just say that I live for those! This whole is one of her top Works and is something that should definitely be read by all the dark Romance lovers!

Damian and Christina are back! After waiting for nearly a month , I jumped into this book , the moment it arrived on my kindle! And what a book it was! After the sudden turns of events in the ending of the first book and the entry of a new unexpected player made this book even more thrilling. This was definitely much hotter than the first one of the duet and the ending was something that I have highlighted and have read not once but many times.

This man who warned me about monsters when I was just a little girl. This man who was meant to be my monster. Do I want him?

Damian and Cristina are now facing new challenges. Damian is still hiding so much from her. Ughh… don't even get me started on Damian. Every time I read a book by this author , I am like 'This is the hottest hero by her ever!' and then she publishes a new book , forcing me to update my preference! Damian is definitely one of the hottest characters by her! This book definitely has an age gap trope , but that does not stop our dear Damian from going after Cristina. I doubt there is anything that could have stopped him !

Overall , this book is one of my top reads and with the dark scenes and suspense parts , this author made this book one amazing masterpiece, Dark Romance! Recommended to all the dark Romance lovers out there!

In spite of everything, I am weak when it comes to Damian Di Santo.

4.5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Second installment of the Unholy Union series, Unholy Intent picks up the pace, ups the ante, creating a whirlwind of intensity and hotness.

"All I can think is how they all tell me they’re my allies when I know in reality they’re nothing but my enemies."

Cristina is more defiant than ever. With Damian, her husband whose game is still very unclear, her loneliness is palpable.

Between Damian, and his twin Lucas, their sister Michela and Cristina's uncle, the heroine's nerves are tested, her heart is put at risk. Who to trust? Who are her allies?

Thanks to the eerie atmosphere of the mansion Mrs Knight created, sordid family secrets that I couldn't wait to unveil, and characters who broke my heart, this books enthralled me.

I can only applaud the poignant development of that conclusion. Lovers of mafia series, forced marriage will love the thrill that never left me. Happy reading!

I am such a Natasha Knight Addict. Her books are so deliciously dark and sexy that I can never get enough. For that reason, I was so obsessed with Damian and Cristina from page one. Unholy Intent was absolutely amazing and another Natasha Knight winner!

After that mic dropping cliffhanger in book one, Cristina must navigate treacherous waters amidst secrets and lies. I loved her connection to Damian and how drawn to each other they were. This story was sexy and passionate and had the edgy darkness we've come to love from this author. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time! What a fantastic read! 5 stars! ~Ratula

*sigh*

well, damn...
It pains me to say that I didn't get invested into the second book of this Unholy Union duet.

I know what to expect from Natasha Knight books and I am always pent up for the finale, for the burst of untangled explosion where characters reach their heights together with all their flaws and vulnerability exposed yet they find completion and solace in each other's arms....

yet, I didn't find it here...Damian and Cristina never reached that height, for me and their HEA, unfortunately didn't bring up mine :/

Two stars. Bummer. I thought I’d like this one more after a strong start, but it wasn’t so. I really liked the gothic twist to the tale with the addition of the big spooky house and family secrets, but unfortunately, it dragged on with lots is needless dialogue and no real plot development or revelation of said family secrets until the very end. And even those were meh.

Aside from this duet, I’ve only read one other book by this author and it looks like I DNF’d that with intent to pick it up at a later time. Perhaps this author just isn’t for me, but as I said, I did enjoy the first book. I think if the duet were scaled back to one book, I’d have enjoyed it much more. There definitely was a lot of redundancy/filler.

There may be spoilers.

The duet starts out with our h, Christina, fretting about how she gets dead roses sent to her every birthday since she was 10, when her mother and brother were killed in a drunk driving accident, the culprit being Christina’s father. He later dies in an apparent suicide, and Christina is sent to live with her uncle and two cousins. Liam, who is two years younger than Christina, is her good friend and confidant.

Our H is Damian, who first meets Christina when she is ten, and is present, along with others, the night before her father’s suicide. Not wanting to upset the girl, he tucks her into bed. Damian has a ruthless father and estranged twin brother, Lucas, as well as a sister and nephew who don’t add to the story. We find out that Damian’s sister and mother were also killed in the accident, and Damian was left with severe burns on his hand, while Lucas was left with horrible facial burns.

Damian’s family is involved in some sort of trafficking, but it’s not humans or drugs. The point is, they’re bad people with connections, and Damian’s family “buys” Christina from her uncle, with the caveat that she be allowed to have a childhood. The ruthless family agrees , and Damian steals Christina in away on her 18th birthday.

Now, it’s understandable that Christina would resist Damian’s advances. She’s 18 - and I get the feeling he’s 8-10 years older than her. She’s essentially been kidnapped out of high school and expected to be this guy’s bride. However, usually in these types of stories, the h at least BEGINS warming up to the H in a reasonable amount of time. In this duet, the h strongly resists the H until over halfway through the second book, and afterward she waffles back and forth. At first, she came across as a strong, take-shit-from-no-one type, but by the second book, I began to see her as petulant and very immature.

The thing about Damian is that we’re told over and over that he is an evil monster, but we’re never really shown any of this supposed darkness. He is pretty mild-mannered when it comes to Christina, and we’re told he beats people up on occasion and that no one would dare cross him, but I kept wondering, why? Even though I liked Damian, he didn’t strike me as scary in the slightest.

Here’s how many of the interactions went between Damian and Christina:

Damian: Christina, do (insert some task)
Christina: What?
Damian: (Repeats command.)
Christina: Why?
Damian: It’s complicated/you don’t need to know/it’s for your own protection
Christina: But WHY?! Tell me!

Damian: Christina, I’m warning you, you don’t want to cross me.
Christina: Whatever, I hate you!
Damian: I mean it, Christina. You will regret what happens.
Christina: F— YOU!
At this point, Damian will probably narrow his eyes at her or sulk out of the room. The worst punishment he doled out to her was .

Damian and Christina have sex.
Christina enjoys it.
Christina (afterwards): I hate you! This will never happen again!
Damian: Yes it will.
Christina: F— YOU!!!

I didn’t feel the chemistry, and for that reason, I didn't believe the insta-love. I actually sensed more chemistry between Christina and Liam! I guess this book just wasn’t for me. Now, that’s not to say it’s a bad book - a lot of great people like it. :)

I would have preferred the crime family situation be removed entirely, and focus on Damian being a dark, damaged hero living in a giant, dark mansion full of secrets.

Happy reading!!!

The culmination of Damian and Cristina's story has arrived and it will keep you riveted until the very last page! The steam factor is off-the-charts between these two. The suspense will keep you on the edge of your seat. Their love for one another will seal the deal. Get swept up in this dark romance about revenge, power and getting the chance to take your life back.

Book two will pick up right where book one left us hanging. Damian's brother is back and he has his own agenda. Befriending Cristina is at the top of his list. Cristina is spinning because she has no idea who she can trust. They are all out for themselves. Damian's family is complicated and every one of them seems out to get her.

Marriage is supposed to be one of the best moments of your life, but for Cristina, marrying her monster is terrifying. Damian won't settle for anything less than her body and her soul. She knows that she is just a pawn in his master plan, but she's still unsure of his ultimate goal. He says he is doing it to keep her safe, but she has her doubts.

Cristina is on her own mission to figure out what each of the players is in search of. Damian and his twin share a complicated past, yet he still loves his brother. All of their pasts are intertwined and soaked with blood. Plus, Damian is a very powerful business man with enemies, so she has to constantly question everyone's motives. Being on her guard is wearing her down. She's going to have to dig deep to fight for the future she deserves.

I looked forward to the conclusion of this forced marriage, dark romance and I loved it. The chemistry between Cristina and Damian is intense even when she wants to resist. He is all alpha, male sexiness and once he decides what he wants, the man takes it. Cristina's life has been decided for her, but she is ready to take back some control. She has so much to deal with and although she has her weak moments, she perseveres to find the truth.

I am a fan of dark romance, so this duet hit the mark for me. Cristina and Damian's relationship was intertwined with loss and pain, yet it was worth all the heartache. His passion for her made it easy to love him. He was a hard man, but he had his redeeming qualities. And the epilogues...just perfect!

This was book 2 in the "Unholy Duet" . This book picks up where the first book left off with Damian's crazy twin brother returns. This book was frustrating at times Cristina after being forced to marry Damian she doesn't no who to trust instead of trusting her husband she trusted his crazy brother and her uncle who betrayed her already. This book was at times slow. Cristina was a young naive 18 year old virgin who was throw into shark infested waters and she has to learn how to swim. The sex between these two was hot even though she has a love hate relationship with him and when Damian realizes that he is In love with her he knows that she is his weakness and so does Lucas. In this book we heard about some the things that happened in Damian's past the abuse at the hands of his father and how the father made Lucas beat him also and what happened to his sister Annabelle and what his father made him due to his older sister. Lucas who was just crazy wanted revenge he wanted to take what Damian had it hurt Damian he tried to spear him until he went after Cristina. Overall this was a good read that I liked I did find one error in grammar. This was a good dark read.

Unholy Intent is the second book of the Unholy Union Duet by Natasha Knight. I am such an addict to her books, she never disappoints. Every book i read by her in better than the previous one, no joke.
I actually read this book in one sitting, but i couldn't write a review right away. I was happy how everything turned out, but i was also sad. However, what i learned from reading so much of Natasha's books is that she is full of surprises and God i hope she surprises me again.

This book picks up right where book one ended. A new player has joined the game, but will he be an enemy or an ally? Cristina is once again faced with many questions, who is the real monster in this house? and who can she really trust? They say The devil you know is better than the devil you don't. Will she be able to trust Damian or will she use the help of another person to reveal the truth?

𝑬𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒂𝒔 𝑰 𝒉𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒎𝒚𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒊𝒕, 𝑰 𝒄𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒉𝒊𝒎, 𝒎𝒚 𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒎𝒚. 𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒅𝒐𝒆𝒔𝒏’𝒕 𝒉𝒊𝒅𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒂𝒓𝒌. 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒘𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒅 𝑰’𝒍𝒍 𝒔𝒍𝒆𝒆𝒑. 𝑴𝒚 𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓.

The chemistry between Cristina and Damian is intense even when she wants to resist him. Damian did not think he would fall in love with Cristina, but now that he loves her he will do his best to protect her even if that means waging war against his family.

𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒎𝒆. 𝑬𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒃𝒆𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔, 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒎𝒆.

This book was so full of passion, action and so much emotion. The conclusion was perfect, and i couldn't help but sympathize with Lucas. And those breadcrumbs she left at the end about Liam. Don't know about y'all but i'm so excited about what's gonna come next.

Unholy Intent was a great conclusion to a fantastic duet. Natasha Knight weaves together a crazy, twisty journey filled with lust, secrets and betrayal that completely consumed me.

"I can't give up, not if I want to survive. I can't let them break any other part of me."

Cristina and Damian's story picks up right where it left off, with the two of them trying to survive while surrounded by enemies. Their relationship is tumultuous and intense, and while some motives are unclear, they find themselves falling for each other in an unexpected way. I love the way Cristina never backed down to Damian. Despite her young age she had an inner strength to her that was admirable. She had such a rough past her present is not much better but she doesn't give in. I love the way the author showed facets to Damian's personality that made it impossible to hate him. You really get to see what drives him in this book, and his growing feelings for Cristina become more evident as the story progresses. They go back and forth a lot and the author does a good job balancing the intimacy with the battles they fought with each other.

"Even as I hate myself for it, I cling to him, my enemy. This monster who doesn't hide in the dark. The one in whose bed I'll sleep."

The plot was fast-paced and super intriguing. There was hot, edgy sex, suspense, family secrets and great romance. The writing was fantastic as it always is with this author. The mafia elements were well done and didn't overwhelm the storyline. I love the way everything concluded for this great couple. All in all, this was a really enjoyable and well written duet.

This is the second and final book in Damian and Cristina's duet; since this picks up with the cliffhanger Unholy Union left off on, you absolutely have to read both or you will be lost.

Given my problems with the first book, I liked this much better than I thought I would. As I predicted, there were no surprises, but Ms. Knight's writing is compelling enough to pull you in. In addition and unlike with many of her other books, I felt that she tied up most of the loose ends neatly () and that the mystery's unraveling made some amount of sense.

I would say that if you like well-described erotic scenes; melodramatic backstories laced with familial toxicity; romance elements such as enemies-to-lovers and forced marriage; Grand Guignol violence; and gothic tropes galore (darkness, madness, the Church, a "haunted" house, a damsel-in-distress, a tortured male hero, Doppelgängers, a creepy housekeeper, etc), you will enjoy this.

I got a little tired of everyone A) blaming everyone else for things they did (or didn't do) when they were still in elementary school (a more extreme version of "You cut off my favorite doll's head when we were five!"); and B) answering questions with a question. And though I appreciate that Damian never harmed Cristina, I found that I couldn't get over the facts that he participated in her father's gruesome murder and -- and never quite bought that . YMMV.

4 stars. I really, really appreciated the ending, particularly that .

I actually liked the first book a lot more.
I hoped we get more character development between Cristina and Damian but except some very HOT sex scenes there was nothing, not some deep conversations for them to get to know each other. Everything was surface level and this was the second book. There was just too much back and forth and honestly Cristina kinda annoyed me. She didn't even try to understand Damian and was easily manipulated, but on the other hand she is an 18ys old girl, not very mature either.
Also the other thing that was missing was the action, where was the suspense like in her other books, this was a very straightforward story, a lot of things from the first book were brushed aside and all the focus was on Damian and his brother.
I actually liked Lucas and it broked my heart that he died. I honestly hoped for different outcome and for his own book. I think he was just a tortured soul and I really thought he was going to redeem himself so that was disapointing.
But still I liked the ending and that Damian and Cristina finally got that HEA!
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

THE REVIEW FOR THE BOOK UNHOLY INTENT BY NATASHA KNIGHT.

GENRE: CONTEMPORARY DARK MAFIA ROMANCE.
AUTHOR: NATASHA KNIGHT.
TYPE: BOOK #2 UNHOLY UNION DUET.
POV: DUAL POV...FIRST PERSON.
MY RATING: 5 ++++ STARS.

Christina is forced to be married to a man who had her kidnapped and trapped in a terror-inducing mansion filled with people who would rather see her dead than alive. But, no matter how much she denies it, Damian is the only one standing between her and death...even though no one can protect her from his version of tortures. But, now a new individual has entered their life which just made Christina see a new side of Damian which she hates to love and loves to hate...
Damian has given a choice ...betray his family for his Christina or just get on with the horrors he has planned for her from the beginning.

Run. Run. But I can’t run. I meet a monster at every turn. One standing behind me. The other holding me.

Oh .my .gosh. This duet has wrecked my heart. Ever read an Antihero who has done such unredeemable things to the heroine but the author successfully manages to make us fall in love with him? Yes, That's Damian for me. A perfect man who is not afraid to get his hands dirty and crosses every freaking line...A perfect dark romance duet.

The cliffhanger in the last book Unholy Union was just so mind-boggling. After finishing that book I just needed a few moments to compose myself. But if that book screwed you over than you have no idea what's coming for you.

Even as I hate myself for it, I cling to him, my enemy. This monster doesn’t hide in the dark. The one in whose bed I’ll sleep. My monster.

Damian and Christina's was a freaking disaster... It just gives you goosebumps to read the scenes in this book. One time you are guessing what's going to happen, then the author throws you off the track. It was just a bumpy ride to read this book...But it was all worth it in the end.
The steamy scenes between them were just full of hotness... so so sensual. Their chemistry can burn your kindle down and you won't feel a thing as you are soooo engrossed in the story.
The main villain of the story...now that guy...I couldn't get myself to hate him...there was something with him that I sympathize with till the end.

Amazing conclusion to the story...Don't worry no matter how ugly the ride through this book becomes ...the ending was beautiful..... Natasha Knight will leave you wanting for more and more...

A perfect duet to binge read for all the dark romance lover who loves an Alpha possessive hero and a strong-willed heroine who will not break no matter how much she goes through!!!

I have read a lot of Natasha Knight’s books, but this one was, in my opinion, her best one yet. I loved Unholy Union but I think that this one more than exceeded any expectations I had and was by far was my favorite of the duet. It gave me everything that I love in her books. It was dark, twisted, and HOT with surprise twists along that way. I devoured this book in one sitting. And when I was done I not only wanted more, but I could not get Damien DiSanto out of my head.

Oh, how I loved Damien. Yes, he is a complete bastard who is dark, intense and ruthless, but he would also go to great lengths to protect what is his. Beneath that hard exterior is a heart, even though it is buried real deep. He does have a soft side that does not come out often at all. It’s all of the above that made me love this man. Cristina is his, whether she wants to be or not. He had no intentions of falling for her. He had a plan, and he intended on sticking to it. But I think from the moment he saw her as a 10-year-old girl there was something about her that was special. He made a promise to her that he would let her go after the year is up, but he’s not sure that he can follow through with his promise. He doesn’t think that he can because he does not want to let her go, he can’t let her go.

Cristina is young and naïve but at the same time she is fierce and strong. She fights Damien every step of the way. Well except maybe in the bedroom where her body tends to betray her, because being so close to Damien is too hard to resist. But she doesn’t know who to trust in the house of liars and monsters that she is living in. She wants to trust Damien and believe that he will protect her, but it’s hard when he keeps things from her. She does her best to just survive each day, while also trying to figure out what is really going on. Why Damien really wants to marry her, why he only needs her for the year, and when the year’s up will he really let her go?

I cannot express enough how much I loved this book. Damien completely did it for me. There are moments between him and Cristina that you truly see the good side of him. Those moments are the ones where I fell even more. As much as she frustrated and pissed him off, she also made him feel things that he has never felt before. She broke every wall around that black heart of his, finding out that he is capable of feeling more than just anger. He is capable of being more than the monster he is perceived to be. He was so afraid he would break Cristina but at the same time she could break him just as easily. I’m just not sure either one of them knew that at first.

This book pulled so many emotions out of me. There’s that element of suspense and shock at the way the story goes. The feeling of trying to figure out how this would all end. That feeling where you don’t realize that you are holding your breath until the very end. The edge of your seat moments that make you sick but yet, you love to experience. Similar to the feeling that you get when riding a roller coaster, and the nervousness that comes when you get to the real thrilling parts of it. The darkness that is not too much but just enough to make your heart beat fast. The sweet and tender moments where you see a bit of the hero’s vulnerability come out. The hot and sexy scenes that make you blush. The love between the anti-hero that you should hate and the kick ass heroine who fight tooth and nail, only to fall in love with her monster.

Edge of your seat suspense in this fantastic conclusion to the Unholy Union duet. I loved it!

This continues straight on from the cliffhanger at the end of Unholy Union. Lucas, Damian's twin brother is back, but the big question is why and why now? Is he there to help or harm?

Cristina has been backed into a corner and with no choices left to her as a pawn in the middle of a feud, she is forced to marry Damian to stay safe, but who from exactly?  With so much hate, betrayal, lies and hidden truths is there really anyone can Cristina trust? For one so young, she showed a level of strength, determination and maturity way beyond her years. I really liked her, even as she despised herself for her conflicted feelings toward Damian.

Following the first book, I knew Damian was my kind of book guy...good, bad or a lethal hot combination of the two? You never quite know. Dark, dominant, dangerous, intense, possesive but capable of a passionate, deep, loyal love if anyone was brave enough and strong enough to unlock the seemingly cold heart the rest of the world saw. No wonder Cristina craved and loathed him. I totally get it, I didnt want to fall for him either but I couldnt help it. Their chemistry was super steamy too!

This book was action packed, intense, full of intrigue and unexpected revelations. There were twists and turns to this story, such that Natasha Knight made sure we'd never really know until the very end the fates of Cristina and Damian. I was glued to the pages of what has become one of my favourite stories by her.

I have been desperately desperate (yep, that bad), for this conclusion to the Unholy Union duet, and holy moly, Natasha Knight does not disappoint. Nobody does dark mafia romance quite like her, so I knew I was in for a treat. The story continues directly on from book 2, with Cristina desperately looking for a way out of an impossible situation. Who can she trust? There are those who downright despise her to her face, at least she knows where she stands with them, but what about those she thinks she can trust, those who lie to her face and promise her the world? No one is giving her any answers to her questions, both Damian and Lucas talk in riddles. All leaving her wondering, guessing, hoping. Lies, betrayal and promises. Add in her distorted feelings for Damian, she hates how she feels, but he’s very charismatic, sexy, confident, he’s also a very powerful and convincing man. I’ve got to say, Damian may have thought himself a monster, but I blooming loved him, I saw him as a saviour, a lover and a protector. The story was so full of passion, drama, and emotion, so much emotion. Wonderful writing, believable characters and an addictive storyline. I loved it. I received an advanced copy of this book. This is my honest review.

After Unholy Union,i counted down the days until Unholy Intent landed in my library.
Because i wanted,no needed,to know the truth,the whole story...
The real reasons behind Damian’s actions.
Who the real monsters were, and what they wanted to do to Cristina

Finding out she’s going to be forced to marry Damian turns out the least of her problems.
Because not only does his father hate her,he wants to end her as soon as he can.
And then there’s Damian’s twin brother Lucas, who turns up the evening before the marriage.
The mere presence of him makes cold shivers run down Cristina’s back.
Their sister Michela is clearly unhappy being in the same house as their father, but why is she staying?
All three have one thing in common, they all tell her not to trust anyone but them.

But who is telling the truth? Who cán she trust?
The monster she married? The one that keeps telling her he will do anything to keep her safe from harm?
His sister? The one that gives her a glimpse of something that monster has done?
Or his twin brother? The one with the scarred face, that seems to have an even darker side than her monster?

Maybe she can trust her own family....at least Liam is doing his best to help her!
Her uncle,though.....what is his agenda?
He took her in 8 years ago and has cared for her, that’s true.

Everywhere she turns, there’s someone trying to deceive her.
Except one. No,that’s not really true. There’s one more.
One that slowly, but surely is making his way into her heart.

Will Cristina survive this family?
Will she be able to have a future?
With her monster?
Or will she be the last one of her family to pay for something she wasn’t guilty of happening?

From the first page to the last,i was glued to the pages.
I cried, screamed and moaned with Cristina.
I yelled at Damian when he said or did something to hurt her.
But even though i did,i knéw he was the one to keep her safe.
The monster she could trust.
Because,in the end,he did everything he could because he had a heart.

Holy smokes- Natasha Knight set my kindle on fire. This conclusion is scorching hot, passionate, suspenseful, and action packed. Damian and Christina's story captivated me from start to finish. This duet has everything I adore about a Natasha Knight read- the intense love-hate chemistry, undeniable and psychologically riveting attraction, a dark hero on a redemptive journey, and a heroine finally realizing her full strength.I loved it!

Natasha is one of my go-tos for dark romance- she always delivers the amazing dark, alpha, possessive mafia hero that has a softness for his leading lady- and I always love how she plays with power dynamics- how our heroine is often powerless and at the mercy of hero’s darkness but actually has the emotional power in the relationship. Damian and Christina are riveting as a couple- watching these two work through their conflicted feelings and complicated history is just delicious, and now we have the added complications of additional potential foes, or allies, in the form of Damian’s brother. Christina finds out more about their past, and about her own, devastating truths are uncovered, there is betrayal and danger and SO much suspense. Christina has no idea who to trust- is Damian a monster? Can she love a monster- a monster that has controlled her since she was a child with his dark machinations?

The chemistry between Damian and Christina is SCORCHING, and Natasha stops teasing us and gives us all the heat. Damian shows his softness here- and though we still can’t fully trust him we start to understand him more and swoon for him even more- especially as we get more sexy time and as we see his protective instincts go into hyperspeed as he falls more for Christina and as danger elevates. The woman who was once just part of a dastardly plan rooted in a tragic family vendetta is now causing him to question everything, and everyone- and we see him go to great things to keep her. And we see Christina start to find her power- as she tries to stop being a game piece in everyone else’s game. She wants to know the truth, and she wants to understand this attraction she has to her monster. She resists, she challenges, and she fights. Her life has been totally controlled- and we get to see our sweet Christina wade through all the danger and lies to control her destiny.

This forced marriage, captive dark romance was totally my cup of tea- I loved the intensity, the push-pull, the delicious steamy times, the danger, and the romantic suspense. And that delightful epilogue made my heart have all the swoony feelings.

Unholy Intent is brilliant! OMG the conclusion to this gripping and suspenseful story had me reading throughout the night. It is totally unputdownable.

Damian and Cristina’s story continues on from that cliffhanger of an ending in Unholy Union. I was desperate to know what was going to happen next, not only between Damian and Cristina but also with the Di Santo and Valentina families.

I really felt for Cristina throughout this story because knowing who she could and couldn’t trust was impossible to work out at times. On top of this she must also have felt confused when she realises that she is developing feelings for the person who she thinks she really should despise.
Throughout the story I thought that Cristina was mature beyond her years and continuously showed us how much strength, determination and spirit she possesses. I desperately wanted everything to work out well for her and so I really felt those heart stopping moments, when they happened.

I was already falling for Damian by the end of the first part of this story and he certainly kept me under his spell during the second. He really intrigued me and I’m certain you will love seeing him dealing with all the twists and turns that this story throws his way.

During Unholy Union I couldn’t deny the sexual chemistry that was sizzling between Damian and Cristina and trust me when I say you are going to need a few cold showers throughout this instalment. I loved witnessing all interactions between Cristina and Damian, and the other characters to be honest. Plus not knowing the true intentions of any of them added to this story perfectly.

This duet is a must read – it is quite possibly my favourite from all of this author’s work that I have read. This story is all about revenge, betrayal, secrets, passion and possession and I enjoyed all the twists and turns and suspense that this story delivered. Told in dual POV, this is a dark and riveting read that you will not be able to put down.

“Even as I hate myself for it, I cling to him, my enemy.”

This is why we simple girls keep falling for the devil. I blame Natasha Knight for bringing her A game and writing stories where the villains are the devil you wish to marry.

The lost son has returned to take what’s his by right, Lucas is back; and he is ready to take all that entitles the first born of the Di Santo family; Damian is doing everything to keep his legacy intact but there’s nothing that can change his true nature, he is the villain of the story and the perks of being a monster is that you’re alone and there’s nothing to care for…that is until the monster suddenly grows a heart. An arranged marriage, a life already sold to the villain, Cristina now belongs to Damian, but the pull she has towards him is something she can’t avoid and she’s not sure she wants to resist it. The roses are red, the thorns do not sting anymore…does that mean the monster finally has found his heart??

Tragic, vulnerable and enticing. This story wrecked me in the most delicious and lustful ways!

“I can’t be afraid of the dark. I’m not a little girl anymore, and the games Damian and his family are playing aren’t children’s games.“

Damien and Cristina. What a whirlwind of a book!

Unholy Intent is the second book of the duet. In the first book, it left on a crazy cliffhanger than Damiens brother Lucas is alive and breathing.

Which actually complicated matters.
Everyone was grabbing at poor Cristina tell her she can trust them.. but who can she really trust? Damien? Lucas? Her uncle?

So this book fell a little flat for me. It would reach a peak of suspense with the solarium and how Cristina would felt like it was haunted and as much as she tried to get away from the place she would keep walking in circles being drawn back. So was it haunted trying to lure her back or was she really bad at directions?
Then the entire aspect of Damien and Lucas’ father being in charge of the ruthless way of this family, The book just simply stopped mentioning him.. when he was the biggest monster in book one. And it went into the relationship between Lucas and Damien and the war between the two.
Their was a lack of heart pounding moments and suspense for me.
Then that whole “L” word. Where exactly did the relationship shift? Sure, the sex was hot. But I felt a HUGE lack of relationship buildup with these two characters.

My heart broke for Lucas. His confidence was next to nothing. His will to live and to love was non-existent.
I was rooting for him the entire book and quite honestly, rooting for him more than Damien to be able to find his place in life.
But sometimes books don’t go the way you want.
The ending of this book hurt.

Does this book have an HEA?
For the two main characters, yes.
