blue lock is one of the best sports manga of its generation. every chapter is breathtaking, and it's not just because of the storytelling but the art as well. this manga makes me feel alive unlike any other. this arc was so good and satisfying to read!!! 100/10

Oliver Aiku doesn’t even play for Blue Lock, but he’s winning my heart!! His genuine passion as a defender (while everyone else is dying to be a striker) and genuine appreciation for talent even in his opponents is so cool. Also, the flashbacks to Rin as a kid continue to pull at my heartstrings… I need Sae to be a better brother asap.

not really impressed with sae and shido's duo. like sure, they work great together but it looks too good especially compared to all japan team npcs. the only interesting one for me here is oliver aiku. great character with a cool motivation, supportive and caring, just wow.

REO AND NAGI AHHHHHHH THEIR TEAMWORK MADE MY HEART SO HAPPY. i had the biggest smile on my face ever. I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT.
my fav duos are nagi and reo and isagi and rin. isagi and rin playing on the same team is so ELITE. i just want them to be bestfriends and work together because they could really crush this shit 🔥 but poor rin. his head is definitely somewhere else and only focused on devouring isagi (and beating his brother) so he can be the best in the world.

can we talk about AIKU?????? the team captain of the japan u-20 team. i know he's technically the enemy but i love him so much. the way he was complimenting everyone, watching out for his team and protecting them 😍😍😍😍 i'm really excited to see him get animated. i hope we get to see more of him in the future.

I’m ready to get to the end of this arc tbh. I have Rin over saturation sickness. I’m here for Isagi’s development but that’s taking a backseat to the weird rivalry between Rin that’s being ignored in favour of the rivalry between Rin and Sae.

Kunigami? What’s going on with him? I’m still waiting!

No sé que capítulos se recogen en este tomo porque llevo el manga al día y lo leo en una cuenta de instagram, pero sí se que en este tomo se sigue con el partidazo entre Blue Lock vs U20 y cada capítulo es un 10 ahí.

Este spokon es increíble y desde hace meses es mi favorito. Es una historia tan realista y diferente al canon de mangas de deporte por enfatizar no el trabajo en equipo, sino el individualismo, el ego que los deportistas deben tener, especialmente aquí los delanteros.
Todos los personajes son adorables, maravillosos en cuestión de desarrollo.

El fútbol no es que me apasione mucho, pero las jugadas de los chicos de Blue Lock me llegan al kokoro.

Barou has the best panels in this entire series in this volume; Aiku has my favorite backstory; Rin's obsession with destroying Sae actually makes me sad now; Shidou and Rin are always colliding; Bachira and Isagi as a duo is actually unmatched

not sure if this is a hot take but i really enjoy barou’s way of playing soccer!! its such a different take on a team-based sport and i truly enjoy how much he’s growing and adapting to different situations that only further his way of playing. this u20 vs bl11 game is so good i swear all of these characters have some sort of charm that you want ALL of them to succeed.
